the concept of this mod is very interesting, I've always liked alien-chaurus impregnation (and all consequences :D). 

it would be nice if someone could integrate the mod with Death Alternative (like Defeat) and remove actor events dependencies..

but, I do not know if it's possible..  :-/

The only reason I don't use this is because it creates a lot of problems with Beeing Female. And as far as both mods are somewhat aimed at immersion (kinda) for females, I guess, authors should spend some time talking to each other.

This is probably a weird request, but I'd really like for Actor Events to be written out of this mod. Other pregnancy mods don't use it, and it really spams up my Papyrus log and makes my game unstable.

 

Honestly I don't even care about the tentacle part of the mod, but I wouldn't ask for that to be removed. ^_^ I just like the infestation part, and with More Nasty Creatures, I find the regular chaurus sex animation to be pretty nice!

 

+1 to this. I never dare to check my papyrus log (it always get me paranoid. Sometimes ignorance is a bliss). But still, Actor events is actually completely useless since it's working for only one mod.

 

I would like to see this cleaned up as well. I don't currently use the mod because of these concerns. Though I would be disappointed to see the tentacles removed.

 

Indeed, while the concept of ActorEvents was quite sound, it never was widely adopted, and thus doesn't present much benefit. However, I've never seen any issues arise from it. The Papyrus.0.log errors that it throws seem to be harmless artifacts caused by the way the mod initializes (And are due to limitations of papyrus instantiation).

 

I've put a fair bit of time in to obtaining a rather stable Skyrim, with a load-order of 200+ esp's/esm's (Including more Papyrus heavy mods such as Frostfall, needs, Aroused, etc), and I see crashes only after 6+ hours of play.

 

If someone can provide proof that it's causing problems, I may take the time to write it out. For the time being though: "If it's not broken, don't fix it".

 

By the way, it is true that you can remove the estrus.esp file from the estrus mod?

I think you need only the other files (the animations) from that mod and leave estruschaurus.esp to handle it all.

Indeed, this mod does not require the estrus esp. Only the animation files are necessary.

I use Beeing Female as well, without problems. Naturally, if you let yourself become pregnant from two separate mods, you're going to have issues. Just disable this mod's infestation if you're pregnant via BF. That aside, I haven't seen any incompatibilities between the two mods.

It's tough to really prove that Estrus Chaurus causes my game to be unstable other than to say I have personally experienced it multiple times where, when I have this mod, my game gets very crashy and, even worse, will crash on game load despite all the tweaks and such I've done to alleviate that. I try to make it work because, as I've said, I reeaaally love the concept of this mod... But ultimately I end up uninstalling, and suddenly my game runs so much better and is less prone to crashing, particularly on game load.

 

When my game is crashing on load, almost always the last several lines of the Papyrus log have that 'the actor is none, line right at the end, which has always been my biggest clue that Actor Events was the culprit.

I always thought it was Estrus for Skyrim itself that caused most of the problems (I used to use to run Estrus Mimics). Once I stopped using it a lot of small glitches seemed to clear up and the game became really stable.

I installed this mod and it causes my game to CTD as soon as it tries to load the main menu. I've downloaded and installed the latest versions of all the required mods. I tried installing Estrus Chaurus both with NMM and manually, but it still doesn't work. It's really frustrating, because this looks like a really cool mod. Is this a known issue or am I on my own? If anyone could offer some advice I'd greatly appreciate it.

i guess the idea was to be able to get pregnant with normal sexlab chaurus sex at orgasm too. (i.e. like the one player succubus mod has soulgem pregnancy at orgasm)

 

there could just be 2 mod menu checkmarks:

-ranged spit estrus tentacle pregnancy yes/no

-chaurus sexlab sex pregnancy yes/no

maybe some % change to get pregnant option for each.

 

(i dont have estrus chaurus installed atm so no idea how the menu looks like etc... i just think too that the ability to get pregnant through normal sex could be something interesting and with on off options everyone can use what they want to have.)

I would love for Actor Events to be removed from this mod as well. The shear spam in the Payprus is pretty bad. Here's a snippet of one instance:

As you can see all this happened in a single second, check the time stamp. 128 lines roughly (I counted) and this isn't the only instance in my papyrus logs this has happened either. Over a game play it happens a few times and I don't quiet understand why either as I have yet to see a Chaurus because I'm starting a fresh save. I had looked up this error here: http://www.creationkit.com/Papyrus_Runtime_Errors

 

Which honestly I don't quiet understand but it seems like the mod was updated but something got left pointing to the wrong... something. I don't know I'm clueless lol. However I had wiped my skyrim clean completely of all mods and uninstalled it, deleted files on steam/skyrim folder and start over with a brand new fresh copy of skyrim in hopes of getting rid of errors such as this.

 

For the most part it worked and most problems were gone. This is one that still persists. So maybe a fix for Actors Events would be good? Or just write it out maybe?

I installed this mod and it causes my game to CTD as soon as it tries to load the main menu. I've downloaded and installed the latest versions of all the required mods. I tried installing Estrus Chaurus both with NMM and manually, but it still doesn't work. It's really frustrating, because this looks like a really cool mod. Is this a known issue or am I on my own? If anyone could offer some advice I'd greatly appreciate it.

 

That would be because you are missing dependencies with this mod or possibly another mod. 

 

Use LOOT or BOSS to sort your load order, and it will pick up any errors that you might have.

So, I took the liberty of putting everything you need in a compressed file. 
(updated: removed "estruschaurus.bsa" - not used)
 
what it contains: 
 
- Actor events 2.22
- Estrus Chaurus+ (by Min)
- Alternative tentacle textures and Alternative machine textures
- Estrus for Skyrim (no mod, no scripts, only the necessary things ;)  )
 
install with a mod manager, run FNIS and LOOT.
 
now, start Skyrim with only "Actor Events" enabled
 
1. load your save and wait for the registration of AE in MCM menu (a few seconds)
2. save and quit game
 
3. now activate EstrusChaurus.esp and restart the game
4. load the previous save (actor event register new mod but no MCM menu for Estrus Chaurus at this time)
5. wait a few seconds and save again
6. reload immediately the last save and now EstrusChaurus MCM menu will appear.
 
..set the parameters and profit :D

the birthing animation is of a previous version (3.35.3 perhaps?)
in a jbezorg changelog:
 
2013.12.26 - Release 3.35.4 - Birthing animation swapped to a more appropriate missionary. No more butt in the air. Moans from breast/belly/butt growth now uses the SexLab voice you've selected.
 
Chaurus becomes giant in sexlab forward/reverse animation (in the jbezorg version was correct).
maybe it's a problem with the new version of SexLab.. or perhaps it only happens to me.. (I installed Nasty Critters)
 
everything else seems to work quite well.

This is probably a weird request, but I'd really like for Actor Events to be written out of this mod. Other pregnancy mods don't use it, and it really spams up my Papyrus log and makes my game unstable.

 

Honestly I don't even care about the tentacle part of the mod, but I wouldn't ask for that to be removed. ^_^ I just like the infestation part, and with More Nasty Creatures, I find the regular chaurus sex animation to be pretty nice!

 

+1 to this. I never dare to check my papyrus log (it always get me paranoid. Sometimes ignorance is a bliss). But still, Actor events is actually completely useless since it's working for only one mod.

 

I would like to see this cleaned up as well. I don't currently use the mod because of these concerns. Though I would be disappointed to see the tentacles removed.

 

Indeed, while the concept of ActorEvents was quite sound, it never was widely adopted, and thus doesn't present much benefit. However, I've never seen any issues arise from it. The Papyrus.0.log errors that it throws seem to be harmless artifacts caused by the way the mod initializes (And are due to limitations of papyrus instantiation).

 

I've put a fair bit of time in to obtaining a rather stable Skyrim, with a load-order of 200+ esp's/esm's (Including more Papyrus heavy mods such as Frostfall, needs, Aroused, etc), and I see crashes only after 6+ hours of play.

 

If someone can provide proof that it's causing problems, I may take the time to write it out. For the time being though: "If it's not broken, don't fix it".

 

By the way, it is true that you can remove the estrus.esp file from the estrus mod?

I think you need only the other files (the animations) from that mod and leave estruschaurus.esp to handle it all.

Indeed, this mod does not require the estrus esp. Only the animation files are necessary.

 

 

The only reason I don't use this is because it creates a lot of problems with Beeing Female. And as far as both mods are somewhat aimed at immersion (kinda) for females, I guess, authors should spend some time talking to each other.

P.S. +1 for removing Actor Events.

I use Beeing Female as well, without problems. Naturally, if you let yourself become pregnant from two separate mods, you're going to have issues. Just disable this mod's infestation if you're pregnant via BF. That aside, I haven't seen any incompatibilities between the two mods.

 

 

EDIT (PS): I'm not removing the tentacles at any point in the future. :P

It's tough to really prove that Estrus Chaurus causes my game to be unstable other than to say I have personally experienced it multiple times where, when I have this mod, my game gets very crashy and, even worse, will crash on game load despite all the tweaks and such I've done to alleviate that. I try to make it work because, as I've said, I reeaaally love the concept of this mod... But ultimately I end up uninstalling, and suddenly my game runs so much better and is less prone to crashing, particularly on game load.

 

When my game is crashing on load, almost always the last several lines of the Papyrus log have that 'the actor is none, line right at the end, which has always been my biggest clue that Actor Events was the culprit.

 

I always thought it was Estrus for Skyrim itself that caused most of the problems (I used to use to run Estrus Mimics). Once I stopped using it a lot of small glitches seemed to clear up and the game became really stable.

thanks for the repack I'm going to try removing the estrus scripts and replacing it with this

 

Edit:  keep in mind somebody else succefuly did this (they just didn't share it) for the ec+ sxpansion, they eliminated estrus scripts - this disables the creatures spit attack infection....not criticizing your work, nice of you to share it, been looking for  way to remove estrus mod for some time, just informing the side effects of it (much rather get things stable than to worry about the spit, maybe some1 could add that back in later)

So, I finally decided to bite the bullet and learn the CK.

 

Accomplished today:

 

Learned how to make quests

Wire-up events

Trigger Sexlab actions

Re-Use other people's mod content

 

So, I wrote up a very dirty but functional plugin that has the following effects.

 

  • You can offer yourself to a Chaurus
  • After being sexed up and infected with the parasite from Estrus Chaurus the Chaurus you submitted to will become a follower (you can have up to 5 following you at a time, they don't count as regular followers)
  • These followers have lover relationship rank to you, and will fight on your behalf
  • If at any time your arousal increases past 50, or you lay your eggs, you will be sexed up again and re-infected.
  • If you come within 800 clicks of any valid female actors that aren't infested, they will be sexed up and infested (they don't have to be followers)

So, I had quite a bit of fun learning the CK this way, and causing the Whiterun bug-pocalypse with overwhelming Chaurus sexy times (which was kind of the point).

 

I've got a few bugs to fix (somehow people putting their clothes back on mid sexlab-scene), and I think I'm going to add a few features.

  • Every time your Chaurus followers infect someone, they go up a level
  • When you are responsible for 10 infections a tongue-in-cheek quest is queued up to unlock a special probably perverse power.
  • Figure out how to set up a MCM menu and let you configure a few options.

Attached is the alpha product of the last six hours this Sunday.  I'm sure I'm doing things in the most hacky incompetent way ever, but I have a bunch of good source to look through to improve it, thanks to jbezorg, ashal, etc.

 

Super huge thanks to jbezorg and ashal for providing me hours of Skyrim modding enjoyment.  They did 99% of the work showing in this mod.

Thought I'd share instead of keeping it to myself, in case anything else is itching for a bugpocalypse.  If anyone doesn't want me morphing their work, I'm happy to '86 the post.

 

Warning:  Enacting the Bugpocalypse will probably slow your game a crawl.  At one point I had 10 infected and god only knows how many hatch-lings running around, all while 5 Chaurus were constantly sexing up the womenfolk and Essential men stood around permanently knocked down due to massive loads of...poison spit, yeah.    Anyways, this is not to be used on any type of serious playthrough.   Just the big red button, like unleashing natural disasters in the Sims.

Fixed distribution to be BSA so that no scripts are left behind.  

 

  • Makes recruiting chaurus optional after first voluntary sex.
  • Fixed several behavior problems with multiple chaurus followers choosing the same sex target

Added a tame version that allows you to recruit just one Chaurus as a follower (while infected by estrus chaurus), and it won't go around raping at random and causing save game mayhem.

 

What will happen:

  • You can offer yourself to a Chaurus when infected.
  • When you do, the Chaurus will become a Chaurus Breeder, which is scaled  to your level, it will mate with you
  • You can ask this newly minted Chaurus Breeder to follow you.
  • It will act as a follower, but not consume a standard follower slot.
  • When it's a follower, you can mate with it at will, and if not already infected with the Estrus Chaurus Parasite, you will get it.
  • it has standard commands of wait and follow.
  • It can be dismissed.

Future updates to this less apocalyptic version will include story elements.

 

Load only one of these files.  The first if it's a game you don't really care about and just wanna see how bad you can infest an Inn or something, v0_2 if you want a follower and to be able to be infected with the chaurus parasite at will.

 

 

So, this is going to take awhile, but jbezorg is awesome, and gave me permission to modify and build on his code directly.  So...I'm going to go in and enhance it to work more similar to how pregnancy do, so that it can keep track of many infections all over the place without losing any actors.

 

I'm also toying with the idea of adding in additional birthing types as MCM options, maybe these things instead of eggs.

 

So, upshot:  This mod will no longer require Estrus Chaurus, instead it will do everything Estrus Charus already does with more options and content.

 

Downside:  I've been working a ton lately at my day job, so it'll take me awhile to get everything working how I want it to.

5. wait a few seconds and save again
6. reload immediately the last save and now EstrusChaurus MCM menu will appear.

in a jbezorg changelog:
 
2013.12.26 - Release 3.35.4 - Birthing animation swapped to a more appropriate missionary. No more butt in the air. Moans from breast/belly/butt growth now uses the SexLab voice you've selected.
 
Chaurus becomes giant in sexlab forward/reverse animation (in the jbezorg version was correct).
maybe it's a problem with the new version of SexLab.. or perhaps it only happens to me.. (I installed Nasty Critters)
 
everything else seems to work quite well.

thanks for the repack I'm going to try removing the estrus scripts and replacing it with this

 

Edit:  keep in mind somebody else succefuly did this (they just didn't share it) for the ec+ sxpansion, they eliminated estrus scripts - this disables the creatures spit attack infection....not criticizing your work, nice of you to share it, been looking for  way to remove estrus mod for some time, just informing the side effects of it (much rather get things stable than to worry about the spit, maybe some1 could add that back in later)

I don't use Estrus Chaurus Expansion...

last EC (by jbezorg)  and EC+ (by Min) uses proprietary scripts to invoke tentacle animation (registered in SexLab).. no zzestrus scripts..

 

EC Expansion has "Estrus for Skyrim" as a requirement..

maybe just check the scritps-code by @atrix to see the reasons

 

my repack is only for EC+  :D

So, I took the liberty of putting everything you need in a compressed file. 
(updated: removed "estruschaurus.bsa" - not used)
 
what it contains: 
 
- Actor events 2.22
- Estrus Chaurus+ (by Min)
- Alternative tentacle textures and Alternative machine textures
- Estrus for Skyrim (no mod, no scripts, only the necessary things ;)  )

the expansion is an expansion for This Ec+, its pre-requisites are the same as here, just listed the pre-requisites again for those who don't go back to the pre-requisites of each mod, with your repack neither this or the expansion of This need estrus from nexus

 

edit: everything in the expansion is base off its ounterparts, it didn't change those scripts or use its own mcm, all that is controlled by what you see here (ec+)

to my 7zip file I just added animations, mesh and behaviors (and FNIS file) from Estrus for Skyrim (no scripts, no .esp, no zzEstrusUtil.dll)..

 

so, I think it's a false prerequisite.. an half-prerequisite :P

I checked and animations spit+tentacles work in my game.. (no Estrus for Skyrim scripts installed)

 

this repack is a test, but for now has not given me any major problems.

the concept of this mod is very interesting, I've always liked alien-chaurus impregnation (and all consequences :D). 
it would be nice if someone could integrate the mod with Death Alternative (like Defeat) and remove actor events dependencies..
but, I do not know if it's possible..  :-/ 

 

 

might be do-able thru sd+ integration, talk with him on that, but I think there's a falmer enslavement mentioned in his user guide that talks about the chaurus relationship already

So the first page version works but it has the infinite egg laying problem? Is there way to make it stop at the end?

 

the animation is not infinite, just wait...  :) 
 
I did a little test.. 
 
8 days of incubation (in game) -> egg laying 7 minutes (real-time)
 
we have to ask Min to reduce this time.. (I tried to understand, but it's complicated for me.. I'm no a papyrus script expert)
 
for now, I just changed the birthing animation..
if you want to try at your own risk  :D
 
extract to "\Skyrim\Data\scripts" folder
