uman2631 Posted June 16, 2015 Posted June 16, 2015 Wondering if this is just me...I made several changes to both the synonyms and the descriptions. Went into the MCM and clicked the option to reload them. The new descriptions clearly are added, however, it looks like the synonyms have not. For example, there are several synonyms that I completely removed, but they still show up. For example, I removed the words "hairy" and "filthy" from the synonyms, and from every description that happened to include those words. But even though I had it reload, those words still show up. Any ideas?
Grimbold the unlovely Posted June 17, 2015 Posted June 17, 2015 Did you click refresh in Apropos MCM? If you don't do that, Apropos will not draw on the messages you wrote. Sorry if this is obvious, but I had the exact problem you describe and I learned the simple lesson the hard way!

I didn't have time to check yesterday when I read this, but there will be separate synonym, arousal and wear and tear files for each theme, and for the default folder too.So, first question: are you using the new beta with the themes support or not? Next, how many themes are you using, or do you just have one set to always/only play? Where are the files you edited? In a theme folder or just in the /db/ folder?

Incompetent as I am, fiddling with load orders, settings and whatnot has gotten me nowhere. Google turned up nothing. Anyone want to tell me what's flying over my head here? Thanks.

Any ETA on a next version (BETA or not) that will address the FF stuff? And/or threesomes? (I know those are tougher). Just curious. I'm being patient (while jumping up and down and wringing my hands with glee)

circ Posted June 20, 2015 Posted June 20, 2015 Did a bunch of mod updates including apropos, and the new system works nicely although the W&T messages show up left-centered whereas animation messages show up in the upper-left corner. Did have another issue though - the new bestiality animations added by More Nasty Critters mostly work in getting apropos messages, except for some reason Panicnew. I did run animation patchup but that doesn't do anything in this case. Running ENG version if that matters.

Anyway to force stop or skip? or know what might be causing problem? I've had this happen once before and fixed it somehow but don't know what I did or maybe didn't fix it and it just resurfaced now.

I don't think Apropos can have any effect on your animations. What is instigating the sex scenes? Most mods have some sort of reset in they're MCM. If not Sexlab has a stop Sex animations in its Debug section.

I don't think Apropos can have any effect on your animations. What is instigating the sex scenes? Most mods have some sort of reset in they're MCM. If not Sexlab has a stop Sex animations in its Debug section. I mentioned that I tried to use sexlab stop and it did nothing, This bug has a chance to happen with any humanoid on humanoid scene started by any mod. It's like a 50/50 for it to bug.
chajapa Posted June 21, 2015 Posted June 21, 2015 SCript load. If you have too many things happening, the animation is suspended in an "on" condition. Try changing cells. If you can't MOVE because you're stuck, try going into console and typing "coc qasmoke" without the quotes. I can get a milkmaid stuck in the milking animation by having about 4 or 5 maids in machines lined up next to each other and then start a few more doing the milking animation. Invariably at least one of them will get stuck in the animation. That's not caused by this mod. It's a built-in "feature" of Skyrim and papyrus and how animations are handled.

AND... have you changed anything in SkyUI's MCM regarding fonts?
