my edited BBP hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP file to hopefully reduce the breast drop people are experiencing

 

This is fantastic and it works. It indeed reduced the crushed breast issue on broken armors to acceptable amounts and even bodysliding the breasts to ridiculously small proportions didn't cause them to cave inside the body like they would with my old .xml. And it does all of this without affecting the body or the armors that work fine and are built with a proper skeleton.

 

I'm still pretty curious and would like to know how you accomplished this though.

 

that xml help w/ my slightly flattened boobs too...but my game becomes a stuttered mess and fps is a slideshow. this happened w/ another hdtPhysicsExtensionsDefaultBBP that i used too. why is this? what causes that file to completely bog the game down

Yeah, check your HDT logs, or if you're using custom companions with their own skeletons, Kate for example has her own skeleton_female.nif located in Data\meshes\actors\character\katebody\female_body.nif inside her BSA. Installing the 2.05 skeleton inside that location fixes her and keep her from spamming the hdt log.

I'm confused by this:

 

Default TBBP Body (CBBE3.0;old UNP\B T\BBP;7B T\BBP) => 2.0 compatible
Default TBBP Body (CBBE3.0;old UNP\B T\BBP;7B T\BBP) => 1.9 incompatible

 

Typo?

 

Will version 2.05 work with CBBE with or without HDT?  Version 3.3 just came out for CBBE and also Outfit Studio 2.1a.  CBBE 3.3 body is now based on the XPMS skeleton for dimensions.

Default TBBP Body (CBBE3.0;old UNP\B T\BBP;7B T\BBP) => 2.0 compatible

Default TBBP Body (CBBE3.0;old UNP\B T\BBP;7B T\BBP) => 1.9 incompatible

Will version 2.05 work with CBBE with or without HDT?  Version 3.3 just came out for CBBE and also Outfit Studio 2.1a.  CBBE 3.3 body is now based on the XPMS skeleton for dimensions.

CBBE 3.0 (CBBE3-BBP\CBBE3-TBBP\CBBE3-HDT) and anything newer (if you use 3.0 or 3.3 or 3.42 in the future doesn't matter) will have wrongly shaped breast in the combination XPMSE+HDT but not with XPMSE2+HDT.

thanks Budroi and TTPT! so it's that "belly" stuff. my last bbp.xml did not even have any instances of belly in it. it's from here...

i don't care anything about the belly. from what i read it's mainly for preg and sex mods, which i'm not using this game. what i DO care about is lotsa skeletons! i have a ton of different skeletons being used. got mods giving each race n gender unique skels. and also standalone followers w/ skels. so can i just erase any instance of "belly" in the xml? would that be safe?

 

ALSO: if i do change it, do i also change "NPC Belly". i know npc prebelly

WHAT? - If I'm reading that correctly you have multiple skeletons in your game?

Thats not something you should do, replace all alternative skeletons that were added by a different mod with the current skeleton. That will probably fix a bunch.

it's been working fine for almost 2 years. there's a mod called Unique Everything that allows it. other people use it fine too. plus more follower mods are including unique skeletons too.  UE allows a different skeleton for each race, each gender. so i have Red guard males w/ bodybuilder skeletons, imperials have swords on back, breton males have a skeleton that makes 'em fat. breton females have ankle daggers. orc males have a skeleton that i made that had hammers and axes flipped the opposite way, w/ the metal head up at the shoulders. that kinda thing. lotsa diversity! just gotta be careful matching skels n body meshes (i use lots of those to)

 

so anyway, can i just remove an "belly" reference in the xml? i'll not use anything belly oriented this game

That would stop issues with hdt physics and your belly.

 

But any follower using a skeleton different than the one you use will still not function in animations properly.

Understood.  So based on that information the compatibility section should be changed to this:

That is no greater or smaller than math symbol that is a simple normal result arrow.

 

CBBE3.0, UNP\B T\BBP, 7B T\BBP will look wrong with XPMS1 + HDT.

It's exactly the opposite.

 

XPMS and XPMSE 1 work for "CBBE BBP", "CBBE TBBP" and "CBBE HDT" with (T)BBP animations, but not HDT Physics Extensions.

 

XPMSE 2 works for "CBBE BBP", "CBBE TBBP" and "CBBE HDT" with HDT Physics Extensions, and you can use (T)BBP animations with it but they won't do their (T)BBP stuff.

 

XPMSE 2 as a reference skeleton in Outfit Studio can be used for both HDT PE, (T)BBP animations and XPMS/XPMSE 1/XPMSE 2 in-game usage.

Need your help groovtama, wrote on the kiwi irc, but dont know if i did it wrong.

 

Im having a few issues with the quiver bone and axe bone on the skeleton. The bone where the quiver attaches to is on the bottom of the quiver -not its center (where you would imagine it would be). Is there any way to get the quiver to attach to the skeleton on the center of the back? Hope you understand, sorry for english.

Where can I find the racemenupluginxpmse.esp? I have looked all over and cant seem to find a link anywhere.

 

It comes with the skeleton installation.

Apologies in advance for a noob question but I have got confused with all the various acronyms for body types and this is an area I know very little about.

 

I'm just using CBBE Slim V3.3 and the older v1.93ar50 skeleton, is there any advantage in upgrading to v2 if I'm not using HDT

Ehm yes, but you have to use HDT.

So....With the newest skeleton, (2.06) and fully working hdt, I found that RS children modified children throw errors in the hdt log, along with the fps hit you'd expect. So, I switched out the kid skeleton for 2.06, and now the girls are invisible. The boys I can see, but their scale is off. Any idea how to fix?

Either use an xml the rs children skeleton can handle, or say to the author he should get his mod so it works with any skeleton.

any way to get the newest version of this skeleton to work with unpb?

 

I've tried myself and well, lets not talk about...I still have nightmares.

 

So, if anyone could help or better yet, if anyone has already done it, could ya help a guy out?
