Sorry if I missed it somewhere in the thread, but is this mod defunct for skyim 16640 since jcontainers is currently out-of-date (as of Dec 31, 2022)? I used this mod a couple years ago and it was definitely one of my favourites!

The current AE version of jcontainers was updated for 1.6640 back when that AE update hit back in the fall. Make sure you're downloading the correct version.

Sorry if this has been asked before, but i couldnt find anything about this particular problem: I was trying to increase the tattoo cap up to 12 and such, but I noticed that i dont have an SKSE in my data folder, and couldnt find nioveride.ini anywhere. Are all of those things outdated or something? Im using MO2 if that helps, but i couldnt find it in the mods folder either when I checked there to be sure.

None of those things are outdated.

If your on SE/AE the file you need is skee64.ini in \Skyrim Special Edition\Data\skse\plugins

Its still called nioveride.ini on LE though so if your using that and don't have it best to check your racemenu install as it comes as part of that (both versions)

Apparentally it was the skee64 in my racemenu folder. Not sure why it was there, but changing it worked.

Is there a way to pack tattoos for slavetats into BSAs so it could be recognized by the mod?

Yes, you can use Cathedral Assets Optimizer. Works well, just be sure to read and configure it right, though its defaults are pretty reasonable.

Hi, mod is great !

I have a question regarding the slot of the body, i see 6 spot where i can put tatoos, i can put 3 in the 4th, 5th and 6th, but the first 3 spot are grey and can't be modified. Rest of the parts are fine (hand/face/foot)

Also, if i understood fine, i can instal pack in the download section for adding more tats, do i install them like a mod (i use MO) and installing them in game ? Is there a preview of the packs ?

Hello, this might have been answered years ago but is there a way to add more slots for more tats? I have a lot of mods that take up the slots automatically once the main game starts. every slot has "external" greyed out and there's no way to alter them unless i remove the mods that give tats during scripted events. Is there a way in game or in the files to add more slots to this awesome mod?

Ok i understood that those slot were taken in racemenu, but is there a way to remove them ? (random stuff) i can't see a delete option

1. It's possible that another mod has 'reserved' those slots, so trying to remove them might break that mod.

2. Have you tried increasing the number of tattoos you can have in nioverride.ini (LE) or skee64.ini/skee64_custom.ini (SE/AE)?

Yes, it comes from some presets i add with racemenu, i was just wondering if you can delete them to leave a blank space (that some minor stuff i don't really care if they are present or not) so not breaking anythings if i remove them, but i don't know if possible.

Edit : Also i don't really know how it works, is a spot reserved to a certain part of the body, like if the 1rst 3 are on specific part of the body ? Like if i add spot 7 to 10 for exemple where are they located ?

@Newka slots don't determine where a tattoo goes. Any body tattoo can go in any slot in the body category.

Oh ok, thx for the clarification

@murfkHey! I downloaded latest version for SE, but i'm having an issue where i can't apply some tattoos, but others work fine. Not every new Sections showed. For example, PublicWhore tattoos works fine, Sd+ tattoos didn't works,

didn't work. If i try to add new tattoo in basic folder and "basic.json" - didn't work. If i edit basic's tattoos texture or replace .dds file - works. I bang my head against the monitor and do not understand what kind of mystic. When i played in LE and added in Basic folder (as example) everything works fine. I checked textures, all of the SE version

I think on the SE version you have to use a option to update and detect the new installed tattoos.

On LE is automatic on each load game but SE is slower for the scripts and this was changed to manually.

Pffft, ahaha... this can't be serious, i waste 8 hours, read scripts, read quests with tesVedit and CK... solution is just press a one button, which i didn't saw because bears fucked my eyes... unbelievable :D

I'm getting into Skyrim again and I just picked this up again - but I seem to remember there was a little ancillary mod that you could use to quickly change sets of tats on the fly without opening the MCM, kind of like a helper program?  But for the life of me I can't remember what it was called.  Does it still exist (for AE here)?

TIA

When I go to the MCM for this mod, nothing shows up. I have skse, skyui, and jcontainers but there is just nothing in the mod menu.

I had the same issue. Just updated to AE (and all mod updates that needed to be for AE) and nothing shows up. Running the latest AE SKSE 2.2.3. Not sure what fixed it. Might just try reinstalling to see if that helps you.
