I go to the MCM. I choose the mod Slavetats and choose the section of the tattoo on the body. Everywhere there is no tattoo. With a manual tattoo selection, there are no tattoos.

Only a very small group of persons can make this and i not are one of them because need a very very high knowledge of C++. Really, the only qualified person is expired6978, is the creator of RaceMenu and NiOverride.

The base problem is the dll of NiOverride. That has not been totally ported to 64 bits version. Some part of the functionality of NiOverride has been included in SKSS, the 64 bits version of SKSE, but not the overlay's.

Then you can't have Overlays with Racemenu in SSE, and SlaveTats use this overlays for show the tats. Until we have a 64 bits version of NiOverride with Overlays functionality we can make none, sorry.

Thank you Genio. thats was a very detailed and helpful answer. I figured it was soemthing complicated and tricky as to date, there has been no SSE version. Maybe one day a talented modder can fix this :)

Have you installed any tattoo packs?

Do you not see any tattoos and instantly leave?  If you installed the massive tattoo pack that has hundreds of tattoos in it the mod takes a while to display the list of tattoos.

SlaveTats MCM menue works fine for me but i get those JContainer errors instead:

[Error] Can't parse JSON file at 'DATA/TEXTURES/actors/character/slavetats/zoo' at line 1:0 - '[' or '{' expected near end of file
[Error] Can't parse JSON file at 'DATA/TEXTURES/actors/character/slavetats/whore' at line 1:0 - '[' or '{' expected near end of file
[Error] Can't parse JSON file at 'DATA/TEXTURES/actors/character/slavetats/vampire' at line 1:0 - '[' or '{' expected near end of file

Resulting in no tattoos being applied.

I have like 20 packages installed yet all I see recently is this

https://prnt.sc/k0frwn

It was fine before, Idk what happened, I tried to reinstal Jcontainers and RaceMenu, nothing

Can someone help me because I dont know how to fix this

This appear a RaceMenu problem. Open racemenu and look if you can put Overlays over your character.

NiOverride is included inside RaceMenu, but in some machines, installing NiOverride standalone over RaceMenu solve your problem.

This can be a problem with the json file of the tats pack. Look if have updated version or others players with the same problem in support page of the pack.

If the problem is only for you, can have some old mods. Verify that you have the last version of RaceMenu, Jcontainers and Slavetats and reinstall it.

Didn't help

I removed all tattoos packages except 1 and slavetats 1.2.3, also every other mod additing tattoos via racemenu is removed and it still doesnt work....

Edit: Dont know how but switching from 1.2.3 to 1.1.1 did the trick for me

i use the latest versions and none of the JSON files have a syntax error so i guess it's a JContainers thing because changing to file extension to JS solves this error.

I have a couple of sets, but I waited more than a minute and they never appeared in the sections when choosing. Even the tattoo from the mod does not.

Make sure you have the current version of JContainers installed.  It sounds like you installed someones mod that bundled an old version of JContainers.

Too bad this seems unportable to se. Are we sure that there is no other way? It sounds like someone needs to port nioveride. Wanted to fully port SLUTS, but I think it needs this mod. What do you guys think? How much code writing would be needed? Got a good friend who knows c++, it could be possible. Any ideas on how to proceed? How possible is it to port?

I doubt anyone wants to do the same thing that someone else is doing. If Expired6978, the author of NiOverride has not yet done so, it may be because it is too complex and he does not have free time to do it.

On the other hand, it can be easy to eliminate Sluts tattoos, I guess you're talking about the new SLUT Redux, but I think it's work for the author of the mod. If not make it, may be because Devious Devices or Zaz, the other dependent mod's, do not work in SSE.

I've already ported all those and got them functioning. I can port a mod in like 20 minutes if I'm working slow. I want to post all my ports, but dont want to offend the og modder.

Those lines show up every odd time on this topic. Those a benign, if you read the error properly and eventually investigate you'll find out that JContainer tries to open a folder as a json file, which of course won't work thus the "error". Usually you'd see the name of the wrongful file with the path, so here it would be DATA/TEXTURES/actor/character/slavetats/zoo/something.json if something.json had a syntax issue. The error tells you JContainer cannot parse an empty file because it's empty (and not a file, but it doesn't know that).

JContainer will parse what it can and return the result just fine. If your tats don't get applied there is another problem lurking around.

Ya, i noticed this later down the road when my own JSON file actually showed the file extension so i figured that.
Should have known earlier since it tries to parse the Validator and the Blank.DDS as well.
The change of the file extension to JS did of course diddly-dick. it just looked like it and i was happy and didn't look for future errors.
Not to mention that all tattoos always worked and where applied accordingly.
So ya... my bad. Sorry.

Sorry if this was already asked and answered before, I just recently discovered this mod, but does anyone know why tats are sometimes disappearing when you're looking at them in TFC in particular angles? They will turn invisible mostly when you're trying to do a close up on them with free camera.

There are like  a dosen files in the download section. which one is the main file ?

There are multiple versions of the Mod including the one labeled Beta which is the one you should use.  The pack ending in _CN is to be avoided as it's the Chinese Language version (unless you are Chinese of course).  Most of the rest of the files are Tattoo packs you can add to the main.

Hello, I am unable to get this mod to work on Skyrim SE. I keep getting an error message every time I open up SlaveTats MCM menu. The error message says "Warning this version of SlaveTata uses version 3 or greater of the JContainers API. You have a different version installed". I am using SlaveTats-1.3.0-beta-2. The link in your description for JContainer only seems to be for the Oldrim game, but I thought SlaveTats was compatible with Skyrim SE. I do have JContainer SE installed but that doesn't seem to help the situation at all. I don't know if it matters but I install all of my mods thru MO2 V2.1.3. Any help would be greatly appreciated and Thank You.

Oh, I missed that when I was skimming thru the comments. It sucks I won't be able to use this interesting mod. Who knows, maybe someone will patch it in the future. Thanks
