Guest Posted February 6 Posted February 6 I'm really just sharing some information. I was looting a Falmer and was notified that I felt Wicked or something like that. I think it strips your outfit when this happens. I was covered with DD items so nothing stripped. I honestly don't know if this is from DC but I don't really have any other mod that does similar things. After the notification, I tried to load my bound bow. The game immediately crashed. I repeated the save and the notification came later but still occurred. 3 or 4 lootings later. All Falmer. I again tried to load my bound bow and the game crashed again. I'm on 1170 and my crashlog analyzer doesn't work but I am attaching two crash logs for both of these instances.   If the "Naughty" or "Wicked" is not from this mod, I would appreciate very much knowing so I can track this down. It happened once before in this playthrough but I didn't connect the dots to the notification. I purposely tested the scenario this time and it repeated. Basically, bound bow equipped, notification, bound bow disabled but no clothing disabled since I didn't have any on. Try and equip bound bow and crash.  🥰  Without the CLA.sse working I can't really tell what happened.  crash-2026-02-06-00-49-36.log crash-2026-02-06-01-01-07.log

I randomly get that "you're feeling wicked" or some line about a warrior/witch/whatever set equipped, but w/o UD nothing else happens, it's just annoying. (never used a bound bow, so I cannot give feedback to that) Â Another issue with the oppressive devices. I only have the Dwemer Cuirass active, but with the "location required" toggle on. Everything else is set to zero, but nonetheless the Living Latex gets equipped, maybe as a default. Would be nice if those zeroes would be heeded.

When you get rid of all the items in your inventory, you'll probably notice something strange, an invisible item in your inventory that weighs 1 (maybe more)! 3. Well, never mind that, whatever it is, we'll get rid of it. To do that use the following command... player.resetinventory 4. Now you have a bunch of stuff in your inventory. The command above resets your inventory and gives you a set of starting equipment. 5. At this point, you may try using Bound Sword. Hopefully you won't get CTDs anymore. 6. Notice that you haven't lost any of the active effects! 7. So pick up the stuff you stored in the container and move on to a new adventure. Problem solved! Thank you for helping me know the notifications are from this mod. I don't have unforgiving devices installed either and I get the feel wicked, warrior, etc. notifications. And I also get Living Latex applied when it is set to zero. The last test game, I was getting the plugs applied that do things even though it was zero. Not so far in this game and Living Latex is not very often. I AddItem a key if this happens. It's not like the Living Latex doesn't work, I just don't like the look in game.  🤗Â

Turns out there is a bug where certain events can trigger when they are not supposed to if every other event fails to trigger and the remaining ones have a weight of zero. Gotta love undefined behaviors in c++ 🙃. This will be fixed in the next update. 3
Guest Posted February 7 Posted February 7 (edited) Well, it seems to be consistent now. Used my bound bow many times without issue. Looted a chest and was equipped with the Living Latex. Decided to test with it. Exited a fort and was fighting Foresworn. Equipped a real sword, used it. Equipped healing spell, used it without issue. Equipped bound bow, crash. I have the Living Latex set to 0 chance. Hope the log helps. crash-2026-02-07-18-27-03.log  EDIT: For anyone reading this, I do not want to connect DC with my bound bow issue. It simply occurs at the same time. A friend told me that a drop of water falling on your face can hit many tiny parts of your skin. Which part of your skin or tiny bit of the drop of rain that caused irritation would take much study to determine. This issue is the same way. What piece of my modlist did this and why, probably unknowable. Never happened before but I upgraded midsave, so I am going to go with this. Posted the logs in case anyone likes to punish their brain on a Saturday. 🥰  Edited February 7 by TFor2 New info

Also was the mark removed from the character, but the effect was still visible, or were they both still there?

I'm playing the Steam AE version and I think I've got all the dependancies covered, since aside from this two issues the mod is working as intended.   Issue number 1:  My character is a female Nord, turned into a futanari by selecting TRX Futanari Addon in Shlongs of Skyrim MCM (i'm using CBBE 3BA for the body), with animations also set to male in the SexLab MCM. I also have Vivi's Cockcages SE TRX CBBE + the Vivi's Cockcages SE TRX CBBE Devious Patch.  My first issue is that even though I've made sure to check the relevant Futanari Chastity checkbox in this mod MCM, Devious Curses never equips cockcages on any futa character (mine or follower), only regular chastity belts. I've already tried changing the mods load order but it doesn't seem to matter. In the Vivis Cockcages SE TRX CBBE - Devious Patch page it mentions needing help to make them spawn on SOS enabled characters but in this mod page it's mentioned under the optional mods section. Did i do something wrong? There's some other box that i need to check to make sure that my character is recognized as futa? Or is this an incompatibility between this two mods? And if so any chances to get it patched?   Issue number 2:  I've enabled the option that will equip restraints on my followers in this mod MCM. Eerything is working as it should, if my character gets in some predicament so do the followers. I can them remove thos bindings from my followers by talking to them and unequipping the desired item in the trade menu as long as I have the appropriate restraint keys. The problem is that sometimes the followers end up equiped with some gag and as result of that I cannot access the item transfer menu anymore. Basically if the end up gagged I can't talk to them and so I can't remove any binding, effectively making them "permabound" unless i reload a previous save. Is there some option that I missed to eventually remove ballgags equipped on followers? I don't want to blacklist them, just be able to still access the follower menu to eventually remove them. My character can usually "talk" just fine even when gagged but I never get that option when the followers are gagged.   Aside from this two issues everything else is working fine and I'm enjoying this mod.

Ive only been using Unforgiving Devices recently, so I forgot that this was a mechanic of base DD. An option will be added to the MCM in the next update.

An option will be added to the MCM in the next update.  Gendered Chastity is set to true but as I said I never get the cockcages. I'm not sure if I need to do anything else for characters to be recognized as Futa, I've used the SOS MCM to equip the TRX shlong and the SexLab MCM to set animations to Male. No idea if I need to change other MCM settings or add other mods.  Anyway thank you, I'll wait for the next update.

I use the most recent version of the DC NG, DD NG, OSL Aroused combined with SLSO and all of the remaining dependencies but I do not use the UD. This issue occurs both in my existing saves and a new one I made to try if its caused by recently upgrading the DC NG.

By default the plug only counts orgasms caused by devious devices, and not orgasms from SexLab. There is a setting for this in the Oppressive Devices MCM. The next update will make this more obvious as requested by discord.

I'll figure out a quick patch for this

One that is large enough to trigger a good chunk of enemies. That way you might get bound in an armbinder, Deviously Helpless makes you helpless, and then the bandits come over to check. Dr4gonl4yer Posted February 15 Posted February 15 I've updated to 0.8.3 Hotfix, I've spent some time testing and by the looks of it I can confirm that both of my issues have been solved.  Devious Curses now actually applies Vivi's cockcages on SOS enabled Futa characters (both player and followers).  The MCM setting in the followers tab prevents them from getting equipped with ballgags avoinding "permalocked" followers.  Thank you for the quick fixes 🫡

Got some through SLSO but also a couple from Devious Devices directly.

It happens usually when you are in the inventory or storage menu. Then the equip message from DD pops up. The mod usually fixes this by force exiting all menus when an event happens, but I think if you open the menu during the equipping process this happens.
