SexoutNG - Stable Release '97

Ok, I am having problems with animations not starting at all, and believe something strange happened with the sexoutcrowdsb. I believe this because npcs are clapping and cheering while I am walking around, and on the toon that this is happening to the animations will not start. Btw this is a new toon that just walked out of the doctors house.

 

Also, I am having problems that if I install sexout soliciting, Colto ergo sum, or sexout drugs, my animations start, but the toon just stands there after stripping while the sounds play.

 

Anyone else having similar problems?

 

• Make sure all your mods are current
• Follow, and perhaps even repeat the tutorial by Brucewayne. (you can find the link in the sig)

You likely made a mistake somewhere along the instillation process. Review and perhaps even repeat the instructions for the tutorial and try again. Might be an error with the NVSE, NVSE extender ( wrong version).

 

Thank you everyone for the help, I found a OLD save that worked and only lost one level. I agree the game is not stable, I posted the problem here because this should be the place where the most is known of animations. I have 110 mods installed according to loot. BTW the save that worked was way before the msex vectoria stuff, so the error in the save had nothing to do with that mod, i think LoL.

 

So it was a corrupted save game, just happened way before I noticed it. I think the getting jumped by the sexout assault mod was still playing animations, just the main toon could not start animations.

 

So both of you were correct about the save game.

Glad you resolved your problem and understand what happened ... as much as can be known with the Gambro engine and not being Prideslayer..   I have been exactly where you were and the save was corrupted way before I though it would have been.

I have no problems tell yet but i wanted to say that fallout nv is a complete train wreck when it goes about modding it (atleast unlike skyrim). But i guess if people were more involved with fallout there would already be something like the USKP patches. the only one that springs to mind is YUP and it's exactly what it does, fixing stuff but not adding stuff.

 

btw, for people who think why prideslayer is so rude to some is because he must have gotten so many responses about his mod messing with this or that (which is already mentioned most of the time in the faq) that he has gotten quite angry about it which i really understand. SO show a little more understanding r doulbe check again next time before you ask for help.

I thought I might post here a couple of ways I noticed that I might have a save game problem for those reading this thread.

 

If the companion no longer goes into sneak stance with me.

 

If the animation does not play when I try to have sex with a companion. This is also the test I use to see if I need to go back to an earlier save.

 

Using these two I no longer am going very long without realizing something is messed up.

People mistake my bluntness for anger. I'm just short on time. I'm not going to waste what little time I have for modding:

- doing forum searches for people.

- doing google searches for people.

- repeating install instructions to people.

- repeating troubleshooting instructions to people.

 

If I can tell someone is lying about having searched or followed instructions, I have no issue calling them out. Especially when it follows the "I've followed all the instructions, but ....... (insert obvious problem indicating instructions were not followed)" format.

I have seen him give in-depth compressive aid to many members that do the research, and attempt to solve their problem and follow the advise truthfully and show a willingness to put forth the effort to accomplish what they have set out to do. Those that believe he is rude hasn't talent the time to take into consideration the context of the conversation and what is being asked / requested.

What really does get under my skin are these assholes that think rude responses aren't justified, because they can't stop and think for two seconds before posting -- and maybe realize how rude and inconsiderate their own post actually is. We (modders) are all short as hell on time. When each of the lazy ass players (thankfully they are a small subset of the total players) thinks they are some kind of unique and precious snowflake, and so, the instructions and solutions to problems already presented must apply to others and not to themselves... they deserve to be called to the carpet, berated, and publicly humiliated.

 

If you want help with a problem, try to solve it yourself first. Search. Try things. Make notes. Read the instructions again. If you can't figure it out, come back with the details so I don't have to repeat the same questions for the 1000th time. If you can follow at least the "how to get help" instructions, I assure you, I will help you out personally (and politely!) as soon as I notice your problem and have time.

 

To those of you who may be offended by this post, you're part of the problem, so let me be blunt. I'm not here to please or serve you, and I don't owe you a goddamn thing. You're entitled to exactly what you've paid for. This is all just me tilting at windmills of course. The jackasses that are the problem aren't ever going to see this -- the problem right from the start is they don't read the shit before posting, right?

 

P.S. If you're some low or no-post player having problems, PMing isn't going to get you a response. I'm not one of those nexus rating whores you're probably used to. I don't give a shit if you like me or not, or if you use sexout or not. Hell if everyone just stopped using it, my life would get considerably easier.

 

Now then, back to Project X. Hopefully it will be 'done' enough today that my co-conspirator can make some use of it, and I'll have time to crush some sexout bugs this weekend.

I can attest to this fact. I have been here for a number of years and have a very large post count. I have seen Pride go through considerable effort to personally help someone that did follow the instructions and shown that they did try all that their skill level and google can provide. Other moderators, modders and contributors as well as many long therm members here are the same.

Well in my experience with mods I am definitely a moron. I will admit I have learned much from the community but no one is perfect and I tend to come across problems sooner or later. Pride has helped me many times and has been quite patient with me. Giving the amount of activity, posts and feedback/testing he goes he is doing the best he can.

 

Best advice I can give you and pride as well as many others have said is to READ. Don't take any shortcuts and follow instructions down to a "T". Sometimes issues can pop up on at times but simply saying "This mod is not working, can anyone please help me?" will not lead anywhere and will piss off people since the ones who will reply have probably done this more than you would think.

 

I post my issues on the forums as a last resort if I run out of options. In my opinion you're better off trying to solve the problem on your own. If you are still having trouble the technical support forums have many topics and how to's on many different issues.

The only thing (still) enraging me these days is this GECK scripting.

 

I'm in the same hell as everyone else. Despite my best efforts, even my nuclear level rage only elicits a blank stare from the GECK. Project X continues but it's doing its best to melt my brain. You know things are out of hand when a simple utility mod that's supposed to have just three or four public UDFs to call has 20 scripts and counting. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel though. I think.

Rage doesn't help against the geck. You gotta make it think it's winning, then sneak in a fully compiled script while it's lulled into a false sense of security.

 

In other news, is it possible the "Sexout:Core" nx vars aren't cleared after an act? I still use those for actor & actor count detection, seems like sometimes I get an ActorC that isn't there.

I don't think that Core is ever expressedly cleared... Sexout:Start and Sexout:Started are both cleared. I can go digging, I might be misremembering..

Is this compatible with Weapon Animations Replacer?

 

While using it, I was getting static idle animations from sex scenes, even though I installed SexoutNG/its requirements by-the-letter with the tutorial. WAR has an idle animation replacer, but I've since disabled that and will try again. Besides the idle animation, would unholstered gun anims interfere with Sexout?

 

EDIT: Even keeping the "Default" idles with WAR leaves me bugged. The sex sounds and sex effects play just fine, but my character stands still, and if I'm doing sex and not just the masturbation option, the character and NPC stand inside each other, static-posed. This happens with FNV Innuendo too, something I tested before and uninstalled.

 

I'm using BnB, along with all the fixes/Armor patches/skeleton compatibility thing, and the only animation mod I know of that I have is Weapon Animations Replacer. I recall there's a GECK technique to making idles work, but I'm not sure what the "offending mod" could even be, if it's not WAR.

 

Any ideas? 

 

EDIT2: Tested it without WAR, same thing. Masturbation animations leave my character idle, sex animations leave my character/NPC inside each other, idle.

Hey I have Sexout working for a TTW install.  Tested the masterbate animation anyways.

 

I'm considering adding in the Re-animated Packs for making the characters look better in gunfights.  I took note of the fix for animations guide.

 

I'm about to install "Spice of Life" an armor and clothing mod that adds outfits to all npcs.  I need the type 3 body and Breeze body for that but saw that it might be already included here.

 

 

However what I was looking for is a mod's Index much like Sexlab for Skyrim has an index with short descriptions.  Just feeling a bit lost looking around.

 

I'm taking that Sexout enables the Mods and has a Slavery System.  I saw the MCM menu and I'm wondering do I need any other mods for consential or rape.  Are there Devious Device equivalents?

Sexout is just the framework, you need another mod to actually do anything.

I'll switch to the "started" vars in my next update, so no particular rush.

If you don't mind, I'd like you to stop casting SexoutCumming if bUseLust == 1. With my arousal tracking enabling orgasms mid-act, it looks a lot better if I cast the cumming spell when they happen, along with applying my shaders.

Just an update from me, this works like a charm now! My animation woes were being caused by KnockedDownIdles. Deleted all those in all my mods, and boom, my player can go at it in fully animated sexual goodness now! Thanks for the tutorials and excellent work.

I hope my noobness on this stuff is not too irritating.  I have everything working fine!  What I would like to know is, can I call the animations from the console?  What would be the syntax?  Are the bondage animations from Zaz like skyrim?  IF so do these animations have furniture?  Can npcs be posed in bondage furniture? how could a get a list of the animations?

 

I checked your link to afi?  I did not understand it, but I think it was only for in mods.

 

What I am trying to do is make a movie of my toon doing the ncr cf mod quest line ( which is the updated prison hard time mod)  it has a version which is sexout compatible.  I would like to show the toon have a hard time over and over. lol
