zupra Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 Why when i try to increase the mesh volume it actually decreases it? For a moment it works but when i start working the hands area it bugs. Then i set it to decrease mesh volume and it actually increases.

Happens if you mistakenly click a vertice that's on the reference body and use brushes on that instead of actual clothing mesh.
hryh23k9823u Posted January 1, 2014 Posted January 1, 2014 We're gonna need some lock option, like layers in photoshop, cause this happens a lot xD
raldnok Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Only problem so far: the MeshOutputPath in config.xml doesn't seem to work. Here is what I have in my file, it is still outputting to the GameDataPath: <BodySlideConfig> <!-- Game install path. Normally this is harvested from the windows registry, but if that's not working or you want to work with a different game, uncomment/change the below line. Notice the important trailing slash. --> <GameDataPath>C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\</GameDataPath> <!-- Mesh output path. Normally this is the same as GameDataPath, but if you wish to specify an alternate location where to save meshes after designing, uncomment this and set the path accordingly. --> <MeshOutputPath>C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\Data\test\</MeshOutputPath>

Before installing Bodyslide 2 i took a backup of my sliderpresets and made a copy to the new folder but for some reason they don't show up with the new bodyslide. Any fix for this?

Presets will only show on its asociated slidersets, so they won't apprear in all the 'caliente advanced' stuff and similar. 1) Make sure they work with any associated sliderset 2) If you want, add new slidersets adding the name of the group by manually editing your xml presets. And obvious but 3) make sure theyre placed inside 'SliderPresets' folder
zupra Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Thanks got it working and succesfully saved the outfit!

zupra Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Guys how to fix the clipping in the armpit area as you can see in the picture. I guess i would have to manually add some weights there? (tips?) It looks good in the preview window but probably the idle animation is causing it? There's also an ass in the pic so this post is not complitely useless. Off to bed now hopefully someone has answered meanwhile so i can continue my converting process tomorrow.
banditjack Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Hi, I posted awhile ago about a problem with feet. You see I was using the CB++ Feet mesh and sliders but then I uninstalled CB++ because it says on the BS2 page, "BodySlide, Caliente Body (CBBE) and what was CB++ have merged to make Caliente Body Advanced." So I thought that the CB++ Feet mesh and sliders were included in BS2 but instead they weren't. So maybe BS2 could have foot and hand sliders/presets in a future update. By the way I am using a custom CBBE body.

If it looks fine in the preview of the programs, then animations in general are causing it because of insufficient weighting, yes, you will have to manually paint the weights a bit stronger. There aren't really any tips for that, try different stuff and see what works and what doesn't.
AwfulArchdemon Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Still, this video is pretty priceless if you want to convert anything to anything: I watched it like it was a movie, on the edge of my seat. Edit: Will you post that vid on your OP? It would be great there.
lordblak360 Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 When I load a certain outfit in Bodyslide, the outfit is off the body. (See Screenshot). Is there anyway to fix this? It only happens with one outfit.
The Matrix Prime Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 When editing the body (not clothing) why is the preview window so dark? I can hardly see any details.

When editing the body (not clothing) why is the preview window so dark? I can hardly see any details. What operating system are you on and which graphics card do you use? Tried updating your graphics drivers?
The Matrix Prime Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 I'm using a Windows 8 with the default Intel HD Graphics that came with it.
ousnius Posted January 2, 2014 Author Posted January 2, 2014 I'm using a Windows 8 with the default Intel HD Graphics that came with it. Those Intel chips really seem to cause a lot of problems. Can you go to intel.com and update its drivers? Which Intel HD series are you using? This is one for Intel HD 4000+ on Windows 8.1 64-bit: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23405&keyword=intel+iris&DownloadType=Drivers&lang=eng (don't download if you're not on W8.1!)
Lucy in the Sky Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Cell, What causes the spiky skin problem? I just had this again, but it only happens with a few outfits. (If you don't remember what I'm talking about, I'll quote my previous post inside this spoiler bellow I'm having a problem... The skin is somehow spiking away... Anyone had this issue yet? Here are some screenies. Here's a picture of the 100 weight on the bodyslide program. In this picture below, I just put some values to 0 to show the armor is properly adjusted to the body. Now, here are a few in-game pictures: This is the naked character on weight 100 And here is the character upon equiping the armor What should I do to fix this? Thank you I fixed it again just fine, by following your instructions. So, this current post here isn't really a troubleshoot, it's more a curiosity. Is it a bug with the OS' "Automatically copy reference shape into outfit" fuction at 'save project as' ? I mean... to "fix the issue" all we have to do is to manually copy de reference shape, and then use nifskope to rename it properly.

No, shouldn't have something to do with the "Automatically copy reference shape into outfit". More like copying bone weights or duplicating body shapes, but I'm not 100% sure either. NIF files, Skyrim and the programs have so many different stuff going on that could cause issues that it's almost impossible to be able to track down the exact issue.
vince8595 Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Can, or how can I edit a non preset body, i.e Manga Body, it has an OK bust shape but i don't like the butt size, then turn it to an official preset?
delilah Posted January 2, 2014 Posted January 2, 2014 Can, or how can I edit a non preset body, i.e Manga Body, it has an OK bust shape but i don't like the butt size, then turn it to an official preset? have you tried making a conversion reference? its in the file menu dropdown. basically you can use the sliders to adjust a reference to fit another body shape. then select file>make conversion reference. all the sliders get merged into one and your _0 and _1 weights will be the reference and altered shapes.
rangedphoenix Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Cell, I was trying to do a conversion for my mod, but I ran into this error here: "Referenced bone not found in skeleton, skipping: bonename" How can I fix this?
ftlum Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Hi All. I'd like to convert CBBE clothes to the UNP BBP/Pregnancy body. Specifically, I'm trying to convert one of the Killer Keo clothes. I'm already doing something wrong I think-- I don't have any clothing showing in Outfit Studio. It shows the outline of the outfit, but it says something like 'no image' instead of the cloth itself. Can someone walk me through the conversion process for this particular conversion? I couldn't even find a simple CBBE to UNP instruction set (anything to anything I suppose would work along with that video on adding BBP, but I'm not sure about which steps I need to change or include). thanks in advance!
Kolkpen Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Being a total noob with how weighting works I'm guessing the more heavily weighted something on a mesh is to a bone, the more it gets pulled by it when that bone moves from it's original position, right? I've already made several conversions but on bikini/panties/pants meshes they always clip around the hip/waist but appear fine in OS/NifSkope. If what I've mentioned above it close enough, which bones should I be focusing the weights on?
ousnius Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 Cell, I was trying to do a conversion for my mod, but I ran into this error here: "Referenced bone not found in skeleton, skipping: bonename" How can I fix this? It means that your outfit.nif has a bone with the name "bonename" in it, which shouldn't be there and isn't used by any animation of the game. Delete it in Blender/3dsmax/NifSkope. If what I've mentioned above it close enough, which bones should I be focusing the weights on? Yes, that is correct. But I don't know which bones are the correct ones for that area right now. Basically, you should adjust for for all bones that show any colors in that area.
