yura322 Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Hello everybody i have some strange problem!I reinstall my skyrim and used bodyslide 2 to create bodies but when i create cba TBBP body i get CTD when loading cba and cba bbp working properly and tbbp armors when equipping causing ctd i have xpms installed fnis and tbbp dragonfly files. What can be wrong?
zupra Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 When converting outfit with multiple parts how do you put them all under the same project so that altering the armor would be faster? Also i just converted UNP pants to CBBE but there's gap between the skin and armor. How can i get it removed?
The Matrix Prime Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 I'm using a Windows 8 with the default Intel HD Graphics that came with it. Those Intel chips really seem to cause a lot of problems. Can you go to intel.com and update its drivers? Which Intel HD series are you using? This is one for Intel HD 4000+ on Windows 8.1 64-bit: https://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=Y&DwnldID=23405&keyword=intel+iris&DownloadType=Drivers&lang=eng (don't download if you're not on W8.1!) I actually just updated to 8.1. I installed the patch, but it said my driver was newer then the patch. I looked up my driver in Device Manger, but all it says is: Intel® HD Graphics. On a different note, will Bodyslide 2 eventually have the ability to "scan" existing body meshes? By which I mean, if you downloaded someone's body mesh and then you wanted to use that body shape but you don't have the preset. It would be really cool is you could go into Bodyslide 2 and select something like "load body" or something and it would load up your existing female body and convert it into a preset; then allowing you to make adjustments or covert armor/clothing for it.
delilah Posted January 3, 2014 Posted January 3, 2014 Being a total noob with how weighting works I'm guessing the more heavily weighted something on a mesh is to a bone, the more it gets pulled by it when that bone moves from it's original position, right? I've already made several conversions but on bikini/panties/pants meshes they always clip around the hip/waist but appear fine in OS/NifSkope. If what I've mentioned above it close enough, which bones should I be focusing the weights on? i will take a stab at this one.... if the hip straps/pieces are weighted to the spine 0 bone, they will likely clip since the hips rotate more when you walk than the spine does. spine 1 may also cause this depending on how high up the hips the mesh is positioned. just remove the spine weights from the hip parts (alt-click i think) and you should be good. also... my biggest issue is the thigh bones affecting the crotch area, so i just remove those weights completely. hope this helps, and good luck.
ousnius Posted January 3, 2014 Author Posted January 3, 2014 Here's an image showing the new slider that will be available for CBAdvanced in the next update (areola). Can also be used to reduce the size. Note: Don't expect even more sliders. We probably won't create new ones, but I felt like an areola slider was needed.
vashshadow Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 hello everyone on here ive just got into using the bodyslide when i the second one i thought lets try it out cuz it looks simpler. so i kinda got the hang out it so i can use http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/36455/? the main problem im having is there not nude there a grayish purple bra and panties on can anyone tell me what im doing wrong?
Deedlit Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 i guess goes more faster using 3ds max / nightasay tutorials of using bodyslide 2, till now goes a pain for me, but just tried for couple hours.

Bomshell Thighs slider is required to have sevenbase body as a preset (and cause they're some awesome thighs).
arthurh3535 Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 When I load a certain outfit in Bodyslide, the outfit is off the body. (See Screenshot). Is there anyway to fix this? It only happens with one outfit. Yes, use "Shape -> Move Vertices". There will also be "Shape -> Rotate <something>" in the next version, probably. I wish the move vertices window was a window that had three pair of arrow up-down controls that you could move up or down and see the vertices move in real time. The number can be useful, but trying to 'guess' the right displacement sometimes is a PITA.
Timebomber427 Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Okay, so I've been a lurker for the most part for a very, veeeery long time now, and I have most of my mods set up perfectly to use BS2, but... I'm still enough of a FNG to not know if using the cbbe body and then altering the outfit's 1.nif will change the outfit for ALL of its kind in skyrim. Like, if I test it to make the _1.nif look like the breasts are ridiculously huge, will some of the other characters wearing the outfit also start to look the same? I'm almost entirely stupid when it comes to this whole bodyslide 1+2 subject, the most I've ever been able to do the past few months has been to play around with it and not have any idea what I'm doing, let alone make any changes. So, there's my issue. I'm far too inexperienced with it to have any clue with using bodyslide, period, to be able to get any of the terminology of the help people give. What I know is that the _0.nif is the lower end of the spectrum, and _1.nif is the upper end. I don't know if NPCs are randomized along that spectrum, if they're all lower end, upper end, whatever. Tl;dr: I'm new-ish, but I still don't understand the system enough to understand the help people give. Replying to this like you would try to talk to a retard would be very appreciated.

Npc's are somewhat randomized (At least I believe in vanilla, depends on whatever NPC overhaul mods you have too) Basically to increase to the _1.nif any character in skyrim has to have weight 100, to get _0.nif character has to have 0 weight. You can play with this in the showracemenu, by adjusting your own character's weight to see the impact this has. Or you can manually edit an npc's weight in skyrim by clicking on them after pressing the console key and typing setnpcweight <value between 0-100>

A few questions, though: Since I downloaded the CBBE Bodyslide 1 and then replaced it with 2 system, does it convert all NPCs to use the weight settings or does it only convert only my body to use the bodyslide settings that I make?
Kolkpen Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Provided you converted whatever a NPC is wearing to your body, like say, a Roughspun Tunic, they will share the same shape. If your max weight character is wearing a tunic that has massive tits on the max weight, any NPC that is max weight wearing the same tunic will share the same shape as you i.e. have massive tits.
Skyrimfloo Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 A quick question: I'm trying to clean my files a bit of old crap, and I was wondering if the main CBBE mod is required anymore, or it's already integrated in Bodyslide 2.
Kolkpen Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 I think you'll still need the main CBBE dl. Pretty sure BS2/OS is just an add-on to the Bodyslide program that ships with the original CBBE dl.
dTd Posted January 4, 2014 Posted January 4, 2014 Just to chime in here, the original cbbe installer installs bodyslide as well if you select it. You'll need to remove that then install the new one or not let it install when you install cbbe in the first place since the directions say you shouldn't upgrade but do a fresh install.
Prolific Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 I made this post on the BodySlide Nexus page, but I thought I would post it here as well: "I'm obsessed with this program. Thank you! I'm having a neck gab problem though, and it's not related to an altered NPC weight changing. Vilja's default weight is 75 and still is but I get a slight neck gap on outfits that I make with BodySlide. In a nutshell:I start a new project with the CBBEAdvanced and the armor/clothing nifI move the reference body into place by the standard amount and delete the old body in the oufit and conform the remaining outfit to the slidersI mask out the the reference and make the zap slider and 'save as'I close and reopen BodySlide, select the project and adjust the sliders to my preset made body and build it. (Shoulders @100%)In game there is a very slight neck gap on Vilja and other NPCs in that outfit. I can fix the gap by loading the outfit in BodySlide along with my slider made body as reference, deleting the body in the outfit and duplicating mine and exporting. (with both the _0 and _1 nif) The gap is now gone, but I have all that extra mesh underneath. Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong to cause the gap?EDIT:One step I left out is that I do clean up the scattered weights that are on the cbbebbp body after building the outfits. The body itself has also been cleaned up. "Clean up" = breast weights on the arm and wrong breast, wrong weights on shoulder from R thigh, wrong calf weights etc." Any help would be appreciated.
smudge78 Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Maybe missing something but anytime I try to load my custom body/slider preset into outfit studio it doesn't load, just a blank canvas?
ousnius Posted January 5, 2014 Author Posted January 5, 2014 Maybe missing something but anytime I try to load my custom body/slider preset into outfit studio it doesn't load, just a blank canvas? You don't load your custom slider presets into Outfit Studio. What you do is you convert to the "CBBE Base Shape" using Outfit Studio, and when you've saved that project, load it up in the BodySlide part of the program to apply your own preset.
termonte Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 I thought Outfit Studio was a bit frustrating at first, but after a night's sleep, I found it much easier to use than I initially thought. Does anyone know how to convert HDT High Heels "boots" with Outfit Studio? I can follow the "Anything to Anything" directions fine, but when I load the game, everything below the ankle is cut off. The conversion itself looks fine except for that.

hryh23k9823u Posted January 5, 2014 Posted January 5, 2014 Two questions (and happy new year!) 1. Clipping with TBBP (This is an exagerated picture using the 'famous' HDT idle animation, the clipping is normally less and varies to only the nipples to more skin shown according to the character movements. Also the butt tends to clip with the bounce movement.) Im trying to convert Killer Keo's Clothes into PSB (breasts, butt and belly, however I'm actually using CB++ Body TBBP Bigbelly50 from the previous version, suggested by the authour of PSB if you wanna have BBP in both 0 and 1 weights). I think that is the cause of the clipping (no clipping or fixed clipping zones in OS preview), and I think I read somewhere that there's any option to hide faces from the body not actually being shown by the outfits, could be that the solution? Or I should give more 'size' with the brush in the conflicting areas? Any stuff needs to be done to the body in shape data in NifSkope? I'd like to know the more 'correct' solution to make this conversion the more 'clean' stuff possible. Edit: Checking this video again, I realized that I can't preview the weights like he does and the 'mask vertices' tool wont show the darker areas when I paint the body. Can be because it is loading my body texture instead of the default caliente texture? 2. Groups! (Wtf am I doing? I don't know.) Cell mate, your step 12 in the tutorial is confusing. You see I wanna group all the conversions into a group called PSB Killer Keos Clothes (or something like that), by default the conversions are in 'Unassigned', and then all the 'Then, use the drop down menu from the outfit filter spyglass to save a new group. If you want to add it to an existing group, name the group the same as an existing one (capitalization matters).' no clue where I can find this stuff... Herp! Thank you ^^ Ok thanks to Cell and the guys of Guru3D I have this thing working propertly, so back to my initial issues. First was avoid clipping when TBBP, was said to improve the weights manually. Ok, now, about second question, how to make a sliderset group? Tried saving each sliderset with the same sliderset name (samename.xml) and it works partially, however I though there was a way to have the proper xml inside 'SliderGroups' folder, to handle your slidersets inside bodyslide.

There will be a UI group manager in one of the next versions. But for now, take a look at the group files that are existing already in the "SliderGroups" folder. Duplicate one of them, remove all entries and add all of your slidersets to the "CBAdvanced" group (optionally CB++, but there will be hard-coded compatibility later). Then, duplicate the entire "CBAdvanced" block with your sliderset names and change the group name to what you want it to be named in BodySlide. CBAdvanced group = makes it so all of your presets show up properly Your custom group = makes using the filter and batch-build feature possible Those should both be inside of the same "SliderGroups/group.xml" file. A good example for this is the group file of my Dark Disciple CB++ conversion (use CBAdvanced instead of CB++).

ScreenShot44 is a conversion I made from UNPB to Sevenbase Bombshell. ScreenShot43.bmpScreenShot44.bmp Ah, looks like the lower part of the boots don't have any weights applied, making it invisible in-game. This happens when the body is too far away from the mesh when using "Copy Bone Weights". To fix it, you can load up the 7B body as a reference again and use "Copy Bone Weights" for all of the boot shapes. Then do "File -> Load Reference" and select the original boot NIF. Now, switch to the "Bones" tab to the right and select all bones with "Foot" or "Toe" in their names by holding down the CTRL key. After that, use "Copy SELECTED Weights" and export as NIF. Note: The boots have to be at the same place, so use "Move Vertices".
