Sanguine Debauchery (SD+) (January 2025)

So, is Death Alternative ABSOLUTELY necessary or will sexlab defeat do just fine?

Death Alternative is necessary if you want enslavement to work.

Posted

When I go into the dream world Sanquine is no where to be found.

That means SD is not enabled or somehow, the quests are not started.

Do you have a Sanguine Debauchery menu?

I was playing yesterday with the immerslave mod as well and i've noticed that while enslaved and in chastity gear i keep seeing a message SD enslavedment removing item (such as plugs/belt etc) but they never seem to actually be taken off the PC.

Is that something immerslave (http://www.loverslab.com/topic/34463-immerslave-live-a-slaves-life/) has added in or is that handled by SD+?

Posted

Maybe dumb question, but... How do you get to the dream world? I've been enslaved maybe a half a dozen times but haven't seen it yet. I haven't messed with any of the default probability settings.

Lose a fight to something that doesn't enslave (creatures for example) should teleport you to the dreamworld or resting at a bed after escaping slavery

You might need to alter the death alternative probability settings to turn off the other ways of being saved like adventure rescue

I am not using 'live a slave life' so I can't tell for sure.

SD should not remove any device you are already wearing but it is possible I missed something in the code.

In the latest version of the mod, you will go to Dreamworld after you have been released from your first enslavement and sleep.

You have to find a bed and sleep to trigger it.

Teleport to Dreamworld on death or after combat is only triggered after you visit Dreamworld once.

You can also try looking for the Sanguine Shrine in the cave under Honningbrew Meadery and sleep on the altar. That should send you to Dreamworld no matter what. If it doesn't, then there is a problem with the quests and the mod is not initialized properly.

There devices that have been added by the mod and in the context of whats happening they are meant to be removed as a reward for behaving towards owner, I've posted in the immerslave thread about it as it must be related to that mod if SD+ doesnt actually have a remove item function.

I don't understand how you can enter that cave without being member of the Thieves Guild. Afaik there is only 1 way to reach the area under the Meadery, but there is a door and you need a key for that door (you can't pick the lock) and you will get that key only during a quest for the Thieves Guild.

I tried to unlock the door with the console, but this means only that the door is unlocked, you will not reach the area behind the door. The same happens if you steal the key or get it through the console, you can unlock the door, but you will never reach the area behind the door. Only if you have the quest than you can go to the area behind the door.

If you are like me and don't like to be a thief then you will not be able to see this shrine ever....unless there is another way to that cave. I have searched the whole area, there is no secret door or entrance.

Try sleeping with the dude that owns the meadery and say yes to use bed when that flashes up, as i recall that got me past the locked doors into the back area

Good point.

I have to remember to add a secret entrance.

Yes I have the Debauchery Menu and death alternative activated it when I was enslaved. When I get free and sleep I go to the dream world the 3 Alicia And 1 enemy. I tried to uninstall it but it wouldn't work.

When I go into the dream world Sanquine is no where to be found.

That means SD is not enabled or somehow, the quests are not started.

Do you have a Sanguine Debauchery menu?

That's strange... Sanguine's position should be reset next to his throne (where the safety lever and your storage chest are located) every time you go to Dreamworld.

I have trouble correctly installing/starting this mod.

Disclaimer: The following here is not a compaint, it's intended as an explation to help understand my problem:

Having only played Skyrim on the PS3 thus far and recently upgraded my PC i bought Skyrim at the previus Steam Sale meaning yes I don't have any Skyrim or SexLab mod experiance but I DO have experience with modding PC games. Now after starting a new game with some mods from Nexus installed for start, I remembered this site and installed SexLab and some plugins. Which mostly worked OK, alignements problems, etc but those seemt to be common. Now when reading the manual for SD+ I read that it doesn't start merely after installing in on ModManager you have to install it via it's menuoption and then begin. Which is were it got weird. Turned out it already considered itself installed, which admittetly I might have done and then forgot about it. Now after clicking "begin" it totally broke all other sexlab plugins. Nothing happening after romaning dialogue even though I got "use nearby" bed option. Animations starting, but looping forever, etc etc. The only way to "fix" things was by loading an earlier save before I clicked on begin.

Now having expected some trouble with modding at start I started a new game and this is where I really need help: As soon as the new game started up and mods started initializing SD+ installed itself again. Tried that several times, every time wtihout me ever clicking on install it installs itself. Whats also weird is that when loading that savepoint where SexLab is working but SD+ not begun the enslavement outcome actually kicked in, when testing it against a few guards without me ever having "began" the mod. Didn't work very well, but since I have no experience running SD+ I can't tell whether that was due to it not having been properly installed and begun or it actually worked correctly and I am just not familiar with the enslavement quest. However even if it worked correctly at this point I still never got an option to configure the settings you need to configure pre-install-button.

So can anyone help me installing/starting SD+ correctly?

As I said before I am ok with starting a new game, just at this point the same glitch happens every time.

Been wandering around Skyrim with occasional CTDs that I'm 95% sure are random-encounter related. However, papyrus for the longest time wasn't being helpful before I finally came across these final notes in my most recent log:

[08/17/2014 - 12:57:45PM] _SDMES_sprigganSap [Actor < (FF000EBA)>]
[08/17/2014 - 12:57:45PM] _SDMES_sprigganSap [Actor < (FF000EBA)>]

Now before I go any further, I don't expect these to be pointing out anything in particular, but it did make me stop and think to myself:

"Hey, I've seen flowering spriggans pop up before in previous playthroughs but not this one or the one before that! I wonder if something's wrong with them?"

Next, I opened my console and input "help flowering" which gave me 4 different flowering spriggan NPC IDs at which point I proceeded to "player.placeatme" them one at a time. The first one spawned a bunch of glowing effects that look like they're supposed to be attached to the body. Essentially, it was a permanently invisible spriggan. The second ID I tried to spawn ended up throwing an error in the console "Is not an interior" followed by about a three second pause before CTD... while still in the console.

It looks much like this:

>help flowering
----CONSOLE COMMANDS---------------
----SCRIPT FUNCTIONS----------------
----VIEWER STRINGS NOT AVAILABLE-------
----GLOBAL VARIABLES----------------
----OTHER FORMS-------------
NPC_: (88024E50) 'Flowering Spriggan'
NPC_: (881039F6) 'Flowering Spriggan'
NPC_: (FF00088B) 'Flowering Spriggan'
NPC_: (FF000A40) 'Flowering Spriggan'
usage: help <matchstring> <filter>
filters: 0-all 1-functions, 2-settings, 3-globals, 4-other forms
>player.placeatme 88024E50 ;places the invisible but glowy spriggan. Quest fires fine if defeated.
>player.placeatme 881039F6
Is not an interior
GetIsRaining << 0.00

Then, about three seconds later... CTD, without doing anything else, to include exiting the console.

Placing the FF00088B flowering spriggan places what seems to be an invulnerable spriggan that does nothing but walk around.

Placing the last ID spawns a regular spriggan that attacks and can be killed.

Now I only did this to test what might be going on and I can't discount the possibility that my load order could also be an issue.

The real purpose of this post was to be as detailed as possible, inquire if anyone else has random issues like this, and if they have, if they've found a fix or if it is a WIP, etc.

Finally, I'm able to open SD in TES5Edit. So there is no immediate, evident conflict that I'm aware from doing that.

Version currently being used: 2.04.3

If you need any further information I'm more than happy to give it.

EDIT: I should also point out that this is a fresh Skyrim install (from yesterday).

On another note, would like to make a feature request.

Deviously Helpless has added a function for other mods to temporarily disable it and re-enable it after a scene. Would be nice if SD could do this during enslavement quests etc to make it compatible. Don't know if this would require a specific compatibility patch or if it would be something that could be included in the core mod. http://www.loverslab.com/topic/28298-deviously-helpless-114-1682014/?p=708084

As I said before I am ok with starting a new game, just at this point the same glitch happens every time.

The PDF manual is a bit out of date I think.

In the latest version of SD+ the mod installs itself automatically - a step that you used to have to do via MCM - so that now when you go to the Status page of the MCM for the first time you will not see Install, but Begin. Begin starts to mod and makes enslavement possible.

You also need Death Alternative - Your Money or Your Life for SD+ to work. Once you have that and have clicked Begin, you should get a "Sanguine is watching" notification on screen and in your quest log. From that point on you will have a chance of being enslaved when you lose fights to "enslaving factions" (animals don't enslave for example) or, if you end up with a collar on but no owner, via a dialog option with npcs (only some of whom will take you up on the offer). You don't mention this mod and it is required for SD+ to work, it is also where a lot of the configuration is done.

In theory, you can Begin at any point in the game, but I usually do it first thing (I would wait until you are clear of Helgen if you aren't using an Alternate Start mod, because the prolog Helgen seems not to like mods in general, especially scripted ones).

Hope that is a bit of help.

Sometimes the opposite. ;) Once and once only ... I'm not sure why but "Sanguine's Collar" would not come off ... and I was not enslaved at the time.

1. I Slept at the shrine

2. Hung arround in Dreamworld until the gag went away

3. Talked to the Dreamworld npcs

4. Talked to Sanguine who sent me back... Collar still on.

5. got enslaved via "I need a strong arm"

6. served as a slave until pleased master enough to join and joined them.

7. Sanguine's Collar still was on

8. Went back to Dreamworld - waited out for other restraints to unequip

9. talked to Sanguine again ... hung around some more... Collar still was on

10. repeated 8-9 about six times.

11. finally felt was enough was enough so consoled in "Sanguine's Key"

i used this on prior version of sd+, but haven't tested since the update to say any changes from it, But i also noticed it leaves papyrus issues, can't remember what else from that mod, would suggest moving arachnaphobia to a place in load order before Any devious devices or sd+ mods - some1 once said last thing in load order takes precedence when a rule is changed

It does help me somewhat, since now I know it's auto-installing is actually working as intended. However in that case I have no clue why clicking on "begin" would break loverslab the way it did for me.

I'll start a new game then and leave both SD+ and Death Alternative disabled in the Mod Manager for now and then see about testing them in a controlled location sort of way. I did have it installed BTW, forgot to mention that.

Sorta new qestion: IF SD+ now autoinstalls, when/how can we select the options that the manual states we need to select before installing? They were greyed out for me both before and after clicking on "begin".
