Under the DA's death events there are two options about which mod takes care of death events: DA and SD+. Should the both options be selected or only the SD+ option? BTW I cannot change the above mentioned SD+ option's possibility. It shows 80 but if I try to change it I only got option 0 and 1. When I accept one of these values nothing happens and it still shows 80. Anybody else having this one with DA? I have. Just recently. As well as the issue Kuwanzabot posted a vid-link of, again, just recently. I recently upgraded to DDIntegration 2.8, could that be involved? There are other things I may have done too though. Am on the verge of a big uninstall/re-install I think.

Regarding On Death events, DA's option is the default - 'death means death' and you have to reload. SD's option allows you to go to Dreamworld instead of reloading. Both options can and should coexist. Until you have visited Dreamworld at least once, SD's option will fail and send you to DA's option instead.

testarossa Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 With an automatic chain that snaps you back to the master, this would be impossible and I would just die of sleep, hunger, thirst or boredom, whichever comes first. Yeah I think you are absolutely right, if you are tethered to a random master they should be able to follow you. I think that a non-follower master could work if the master stays in one place and sends the PC out on missions. This seems like it would be a different DA scenario, though. Maybe once things are more stable other people can try their own hands at adding SD+ scenarios. I'm thinking of the kind of scenarios already in the Devious Devices mods. You can think of them as assigning you a temporary master who sends you out on a series of missions, but in DD and Curious Dreams this only means making you go questing with devious devices on. Perhaps someone could use the SD+ code for how a master works, but keep the PC and master in a single cell until the master decides to let you go on a quest. The master could be selected via the radiant system (bandit boss etc). An advantage of this is that you can't get your master killed while questing. Instead, there could be a DA scenario with a high probability of returning you to that master if you die, making it hard to escape.
Vithiss Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 Thanks Skyrimll, I didn't think that DDi would make a difference, but knew that was something I'd changed about the same time that the chance slider seemed to stop working correctly (ie: showing only 0-1 when clicked on and not changing the 80 after). I am kinda guessing that the OnBleedOut thing, where the health bar rather than bleedout bar going down has to do with Defeat and DA. But I am not especially good at guessing when it comes to this sort of thing either. One other thing that seems to be happening a lot more lately than before (and before is still the current version) is that I get CTDs when sent to Dreamworld, after the first visit, about half the time. So far, the first visit has never caused a CTD, but I have had them from sleep visits and 'rescue from death' visits both. And a side note, it seems that if you use SD+ and Defeat with DA, then Deviously Helpless can cause conflicts. Anyway, a week or two ago, I had SD+ and Defeat working relatively well through DA, so I am pretty sure that these new issues are something I've done, which was why I hadn't posted about them before. Xuji Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 This might have been proposed, but now that we'll (eventually) get sold by our master, I think it'd be cool of there was a risk that guards sell you instead of or when you're let out of prison, or you get put up for sale somewhere depending on how it works.Maybe that doesnt work with the morality system, though. I just like the idea of corrupt guards and losing your rights, even if not strictly legal. And I think there's something about renting you to a guards barrack, so.

The next version (coming up this weekend hopefully) will introduce the first set of slavery items as Devious Devices. After that release, I will be working on more master / slave interactions and fixing issues with followers, kneeling animations, the new leash system, and so on. I will work on other devious 'outfits' for SD once that part is more developed, so don't expect anything for Spriggans before a month at least. The good news is that the new system will allow me to customize slavery items a lot more. Currently planned are: - Default outfit - Zaz slave items - Wealthy outfit - Devious slave items - Very Wealthy outfit - 'Princess Leia' type of slave - Primitive outfit - Ropes only (Forsworn, Giants, Hagravens) - Spider outfit - Zaz spider web - Falmer outfit - Chaurus textured Zaz spider web - Animal outfit - Dirt and scratches textures Zaz spider web - Spriggan Host outfit - Vegetal armor - Tentacle outfit - Biological armor - Queen of Chaurus outfit - Based on Brood Mother - Sanguine Artefacts - Spectral bondage devices Some of these will be long term additions and some will appear in the game sooner but this is what I am going for (And yes, that means I am considering special forms of enslavement by Giants, Hagravens or Spiders).

Blameless Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 So, i've run into a problem with the "pleasing master" scenes. Everytime the owner is about to have her way with me i get this "script stopped running" box thing and skyrim crashes. Just sits at a windowed black screen. I never get a chance to look at what has stopped working. This only happens when the owner does something through the dialoge. If i just sit around and something happens then its all ok. I will mention that this only occurs during sex scenes, and they never actually start. I use both defeat and SD+ and the defeat sex scenes work perfectly. Its only through the enslavement stuff that this happens. I'm inside a cave, having been enslaved by bandits. Does anyone know of a fix or what the problem might be? Edit: I should add that sometimes it just CTDs So, its some sort of Runtime error. Does that just mean that I have to much going? or is something conflicting?

I thought the 'Night to remember' quest was required to trigger being enslaved (or hitting the enable button in MCM). I never used the MCM shortcut since I wanted to try the mod out the way it was intended. Then with resetting everything moving over to use MO, and again with SL 1.5x (just to be safe), and other things occupying my time I never really got close, so I didn't have the mod active to toy with. Assuming the mod was supposed to be 100% dormant until the 'Night to remember' I figured it was best for stability to leave it out, and then grab the latest version once I got that far. As for a third trigger then, I would suggest the MCM enable button, and then you can give Sanguine some lines about how the PC's subconcious or 'true self' called out to him, and he decided answering would be amusing. As a bonus, this would be lore friendly and breaking the 4th wall simultaneously. Sanguine is a daedric prince, who says he can't peruse some MCM menu that a player-mortal has access to.

CGi Posted June 13, 2014 Posted June 13, 2014 it's an armor that acts like a succubus and gains strenght from appropriate actions, like molesting the player (ghost hands, forced to have sex a.s.o.) and giving her quests.The mod (made by wolfZQ and of which a site with pics and info's is hard to find) even has a quest line with dead ends. Actually a rather good mod, but buggy and still not finished iirc. But you can get the english translation here on LL (only the plugin, original data pack is still needed and the links may be dead by now), in case you want to test it in Oblivion. Btw: is this tentacle-thingie-armor animated?

I just added a flag to detect if a follower should be stripped when enslaved (this is to preserve followers with set outfits like the SexBot in my Stories or the succubus-like Ali from Alicia. There is another flag to tell other mods the player is currently enslaved or infected by a spriggan host. The basic principle will be to interact with SD through variables set in Storage Util. In a first stage, it will be mostly about exposing SD's state to other mods (like the form ID of the Master or the level of freedoms / constraints imposed on the player). Later I will use that system to trigger enslavement, release and other events.

I haven't seen the new shrine yet, but maybe that could work as a trigger, maybe even have it set up so that, from a rp perspective rather than code, activating the shrine would have a fetish-like effect (similar to what you did in Stories) that "explains" Coveted.... a sort of reverse fetish that makes the character a fetish-object for others? Though, I suppose the shrine might need to be a bit more accessible if it is where I think it is now. Just a thought. Still love your work.

Later I will use that system to trigger enslavement, release and other events. So basically another slavery mod, so integration would be good for preventing conflicts like having two masters. From what I have read, it leans more towards the consensual or semi-consensual routes to slavery, not a death alternative when you have lost a random battle. So there should be no conflict on which mod gets to decide who will become an unowned player's master at any point in time, just need to make sure the mods play nice when the PC is also enslaved. But for details probably best to talk to the modders, such as CGi himself. I am just an avid follower of both threads. It looks like they are also working on master as player follower content, so collaboration there may be useful. As a player, it seems the more modders generating master content, the more interesting player slavery will become. It would be a shame if all master events were restricted to one mod or another, or modding resources wasted developing the same master scenarios more than once.
