HDT is more complex but is more versatile as the movement can be tweaked with an XML file that controls everything. I use one from here on LL that gives a small amount of movement and does not look like it is a half full plastic bag of water.

 

If you don't mind me asking, which XML do you use? I've been using http://www.loverslab.com/topic/25852-my-body-is-not-jello-bounce-xml-32/but it hasn't been updated in awhile and I keep getting vibration glitches.

HDT enabled bodies are not identical to the vanilla bodies, that's why you see clipping issues.

 

I hope you saw my heavily edited post just above, and if you did, is that what clipping is? When body parts seem to melt out of the clothes?

Yes, "clipping" is when part of a mesh pokes through another part of the mesh when it shoulden't. A common problem when an item was ment to be used with body-A, and you are using body-B.

 

I would not recommend using HDT bodies with Devious Devices unless you know what you are doing, and am able to make edits to the meshes yourself. The items were not designed to work with HDT bodies, and they don't.

 

 

Also, you are two versions behind on your Expansion install if that screenshot text is accurate, and that's rarely a good thing..

Short answer: Everybody calls it clipping, yeah.

 

Smartass, mostly useless answer: Actually, this is just triangle intersection. It has nothing to do with real clipping which is cutting triangles against the view frustum by the GPU to avoid rasterizing and shading junk that's outside the viewable area. Clipping in the sense of things going through each other was actually derived from early collision detection implementations in id Software games where if they encountered a wall they'd 'clip', or cut away the intersecting portion of, the movement vector. So there. It's not actually clipping. Here's a nice presentation on real clipping.

Hay Koffii, is there any chance you can up the poly count on the torso part of that cat suit.

I've had a hell of a time in the past conforming it to different shapes... It's just flat out low F'n Poly!

 

Considering most of the items that come in the DD set have a nice poly count (vertices if you feel like being technical) so that one just blows in comparison....

 

 

hmm maybe we could get Aradia to look at it, but then it might end up skimpy as hell (okay I need to stop joking around on other folks threads).

This is the Bodyslide preset I have made and the body meshes: CustomPreset-Vel.zip

The preset goes into the Bodyslide\SliderPresets folder and works best with the CBBE HDT body.

 

The body works well with the Devious Devices, I adjusted it to fit fairly well with them since the presets I had that came in bodyslide were off a bit. The body shows a bit through the corset just under the breasts when sneaking but I don't see a way to adjust it in bodyslide (no slider for that area).

I think people are veeeeeeeeeeeeeeeery confused and are blaming DD for the contents of the optional CD plugins that add third party outfits from independent mods to the shop ^^

Thanks Vel. From memory the Assassin plugs in V2.82 gave three buffs so were worth buying if you didn't mind your magic being a bit gimped

 

 

Looking at the enchantment on the Assassin plug the Archery enchantment was missing the condition to only work if the arousal was over 80 so it should have worked at all times. The enchantment effects themselves are standard Skyrim enchantments otherwise so if any are not working I am not sure why.

 

The Tormentor plug was not updated with the effect keywords but there should not have been anything keeping it from working with the Teaser plug, they have the proper item keywords.

 

 

I've found the problem Vel, it was the assassin plug that gave me the clue as that works all the time.

 

I'm using Sexlab Aroused Redux and it looks like the plugs are not picking up the arousal at 80+

 

I reinstalled the old SA and worked up arousal to 86 and the plug effects then showed (tested with Thief plug).

 

Note: You can't just substitute SA for SAR when at high arousal or the effect still doesn't show, you need SA in place and to go through the trigger point.

 

I'll also post details in the SAR thread for Fishburger to look at the problem

Trying another play through (been waiting for the added content you started a few months ago and the the right 'mood'.)  I have to say, from what you started with to what you have now is a real milestone achievement.  Expanding the mod farther than the delivery/retrieval/assist quests added SO MUCH to your piece.  I'm amazed at the level of work you've put into this.  Talk about  a labor of love!  Just the work on the cells must have taken weeks to complete.

I'm not going to post any spoilers, but my favorite so far is the Thalmor quest.  It was genius and gave the feel of actually being a submissive sex doll/slave girl.  That part alone is worthy of it's own mod.

As far as playability goes, I haven't had any of the problems I did with previous versions.  Outside of Skyrim being Skyrim (CTD for no reason), and Sexlab doing the CTD (because sometimes that is what Sexlab does), I didn't have any problems other than one Thalmor guard stuck in a forced greet dialogue loop.  (Exiting the game and going back to the last QuickSave solved it.)

 

You have really come a long way with this and you have every reason to be proud of the mod.

No. The rules for framwork inclusion are as follows:

 

DDa: Only assets created by Zadil and/or Koffii gets added here, so that creative control can be maintained for the mod, and it doesen't run into copyright issues and the like.

 

 

DDx: Third party assets can be added here, but only if they live up to 3 simple rules:

 

1) The item needs to fit in (i'm not going to add pretty summer dresses and stuff like that, it needs to be something that makes sense within the DD framwork, a bondage device, or atleast a kinky outfit to some degree that would fit into the theme).

 

2) It needs to have both a CBBE and UNPB version, since those are the two bodies supported by the framework, and must have both _0 and _1 support (and vanilla versions of that, the framwork uses the vanilla bodies, not any of the 48.289 off-shoot variants of those bodies that exist, and which are all incompatible with eachother. There's just no way i could ever support them all so i need to stick with vanilla, and then others can do conversions if they wish).

 

3) Both the CBBE and UNPB versions must be of comparable quality. I won't accept one part of the community getting "the good version" whilst the other gets saddled with some half-arsed 2-minute OutfitStudio conversion that looks terrible. It either works proper for all users or it doesen't get included at all. No exceptions, i'm not cool with creating a caste system of "have's" and "have-not's" amongst the mod's userbase.

 

 

The catsuit mesh you're thinking of fails rule 2 and 3, and is thus instantly disqualified from framework inclusion. If that ever changes, i'd gladly enroll it in DDx, but that has not come to pass as of yet.

It took a bit of adjusting to get right, the CBBE and CBBE Classic sliders included in Bodyslide were both close but both had some issues, mostly with the belly and legs.

Master running around like a rat with a tail is ok, but the summerwear gowny-thing my PC is wearing isn't?

My player, being a succubus, has to look the part, but the total armor package she wears equals 14000 in armor-protection.

That's a rant for another post, why can't BDSM armor be protective?

I edit  my the armor pieces to have the maximum allowable armor rating of 600, and a price-tag of 19,999, and an enchantment of enhance-light-armor-level-6.

This usually gives the piece a rating of 2100 or so.

This applies to rings, ribbons, pretty summery-things.

V 3.80 is available now. There are not many changes to it:

 

Few bug fixes (including objectives for Ulfric and Jorleif)

Updated Device Removal scripts to handle hoods, suits and gloves

Minor dialogue updates (mostly to help with...)

German language support - includes localized esp with all string files for English and German as well as dummy files for all other languages (to avoid issues).

 

If you want the non localized esp, it is in the Optional folder.

If you use the UNPB body there are UNPB meshes for the chastity piercings in the Optional folder as well.

for some reason the vibrator piercings dont show on the body do i need a body texture or something to make it show ? the plugs show up like soulgems and inflatable but the vibrator piercings dont show on the body but they show in the inventory or is it ment to be like that ?

Do you mean the soulgem piercings? They are standard DD items, check your settings for the Device Hider in DD - Integration and make sure they are not being hidden. Otherwise check your installation of Assets as that is where they are from.

wheres the devious hider ? i dont touch the settings except for the blindfold strenght to lower the blackness to allow a bit of sight

 

and yes its the soulgem piercings for nipple and pussy they have a image in inventory but dont show on the body i keep the devious mods upto date

The settings for the Device Hider is in the Integration MCM menu, it is the last 2 menu items in it. I know that the nipple piercings and bra's are set to be hidden by anything in the body slot (32).
