Oh Brodual, best in modding vids and reviews, kudos detailed.

From what I have read, Three Dog is meant to come back in number 3 as well as the main power base for the Brotherhood of Steel.

 

But there is nothing 100% certain yet.

Shame its going to be a £30 - 40 game when it comes out if not higher :(

Well he already confirmed that he will be back as three dog, but no confirmation of what game, well the box art registration trademark proves it lol.

 

30-40E in there, in ph it will only cost 3000-4000pesos perks of a low money economy society, :P by then i probably will buy it no doubt.

BethSoft has always had a style of writing, for better or worse that left the player feeling better about their choices and feeling more like they accomplished something in the end, this is of course just my point of view, from a "goodie two shoes with pervy tendencies", lol :P

You haven't played Skyrim and finished the main quest then, as that alone makes me think completely the opposite way.

 

 

Yep you are correct, they made a full 180 degree turn in style with Skyrim, and  it left me feeling very empty with the choices I had to make a factions I felt "forced" to join. I think they lost a key writer who worked on Fallout 3 and it definitely shows.

Theme-wise I think cowboys would have been a better fit for the Mojave.

I would have been more impressed with these guys as opposed to a bunch of douches running around in football pads throwing spears at me.  Would have made more sense too.  Imagine a 'Wild West' culture thriving in what was once Arizona, brahmin and land barons reigning over a neo-fueudal society where peons work the land they cannot leave.  Instead of knights in shining armor the barons and their men are rough riders with long coats and Winchesters.  Old fashioned frontier gentlemen more than willing to hang or shoot full of holes anyone who stands in their way.  Maybe they take scalps when they really want to prove a point.  Their motivations could be the same as the Legion BUT it would be believable with the added hitch that they want to control the WATER RIGHTS and Hoover Dam is the key to that control.

 

Back on topic: If BethSoft opts for the Commonwealth I HOPE someone puts a little thought into it.  I came up with the cowboys idea and had the gist of them worked out in about ten minutes.  Surely some game dev could do better with all of the resources they have.  I would like to see the clock set back and the antogonists in FO4 believable with valid motivations.

lol I have THE original PONG! I swear it! It's a piss-stain-yellow triangle, with 2 joysticks, and a couple buttons. What's worse, it has rabbit ear antennae!  :D

Could be Fallout 4, Fallout movie, Fallout MMO, New Vegas 2 doubt it as Obsidian have already said that they would like too do a New Vegas 2. Three dog twittered means nothing to the teaser that it is Fallout 4, if ya a genius and have inside info please share. If it is Fallout 4 as a lot off people hope it is (including me) give the game to Obsidian, Fallout 4 is speculated to be the game Bethesda has had in pre-production since at least August 2010. However no announcement has been made as to any product being developed in the studio. Could also be a MMORPG.

As with the Fallout 4 trademark,

Has Bethesda filed for a Fallout 4 trademark?
On the 14th of November, 2013, Bethesda Softworks LLC filed for a European trademark corresponding to Fallout 4 with the Trade Marks and Designs Registration Office of the European Union (OHIM). [5]
However, this trademark was withdrawn and nullified on November 27th, 2013.

Okay, sorry for the instigation of derail, Ark o' Tee.

 

One of the (British) You Tube game reviews gave a nice little short-list of the things he definitely would NOT want to see in the next Fallout game. The two main items being: No multi-player, and no vehicles. His reasoning makes sense; as these would ruin the entire feel of the Wasteland; as a lonely wasteland.These two I agree with whole-heartedly. Plus, the raiders need a makeover that involves more than just funny hats.

I still want a horsey though. 

Maybe a robot horsey?

A zebra? A camel?

The setting does not lend itself well to an mmo environment. I could see a co-op option though. I feel that could be awesome. Would certainly fix the crappy companion system. Would limit modding though. :(

This game screams co-op as much as, if not much more than, Dragon's Dogma. The fields are set up well for a multiplayer battle. Moreso than Defiance even...

I haven't played Dragon's Dogma, but Defiance was awful.

fallout co op does sound pretty solid.

Unmoddable though...When have people ever truly modded an online MP game? Hmmm, then there's Dragon Age 3, a game that was moddable, and may turn online MP.....I suppose I'll refer to Mass Effect yet again, while I'm at it. :P

 

I'd love MP, but not at the cost of modding. -_-

Fallout 4 could very well be a RTS. With unit upgrades like NCR Trooper -> NCR Ranger, BoS Initiate -> BoS Knight -> BoS Paladin and various other weapon and armor tech upgrades, implants etc. :D
