Sorry but it's an issue.

 

Where did you write your mod was incompatible with Captured Dreams or any mod that change those .pex files ?  I was checking on the main page, and it's not there.

This issue break another DD mod, because i can't unequip the plugs and so i can't use anyone others plugs or for a devious quest i must do it.

 

I gonna try to remove your mod and make a clean save and I hope this maybe can fix this issue.

1) This has nothing to do with Angrim's Apprentice.

2) I've already told you what the issue is. Re-read my post. Clean-saving isn't going to do anything but break your save.

3) If you're still convinced that you have a different issue, post a copy of your Papyrus.0.log for further troubleshooting.

They're incompatible, or I didn't see any warning about this.

 

People need to known about mods incompatibility before installing anyone.  So it's an issue !

Did you completely ignore mins post?  CD is not incompatible with this mod.  CD had one version that overwrote files from the base DDI. if you reinstall DDI and use the latest version of CD and this, you wont have any problems

To reiterate what Min and Aelie said: there is no incompatibility.  None.  I'm using the latest of both mods myself.

 

Fact!

 

 

Vel accidentally included some outdated scripts in his initial CD release that shoulden't have been there (or rather, the app that he is using to package up his mod did this, and he didn't notice the problem until it was too late), and those old scripts are what's causing the issues.

 

He has reuploaded the mod since then and removed the old scripts from the file.

 

 

There's no compatibillity problem, it was just a minor oopsie with the CD release, and it has since been corrected.

is there anything special you have to do before you can start the quests? because i go down to him and ask him what he is doing down there and he just answers with ending my researches or something... then nothing happens

There are some books in his basement that you can read to get quests.  And/or you can talk to him, he will give you a magical boost effect, you can return to him and renew it, ask him if he can teach you the spell, get told to do the Sanguine and Dibella quests, return to him later and get taught a spell or two ... basically you just have to keep dropping in on him and talking to him.

I have a few question about the mod:

Question: As a ghost, I am still able to interact with the world, is this intended?

Question 2: Is there a way to get out of the Ghost Ending? Or it will affects the save permanently?

Hi!  Cool mod so far!  I need a little help, though, as I'm not sure if I've reached the end, of something went wrong in my end.

 

 

So, Anrgim finally spilled the beans and summoned the dremora emmesary. The dremora emmasary raped me, and then he was like "time to open a portal. My master will love you". But, he didn't really open any portals. I can't talk to the emmesary, either. I can talk to Angram, though, and he said to bugger off, basically. Is that normal, or is the emmesary supposed to open a portal?

@acac: that's normal, and the end of the main quest - the 'book' quests can still be done (if they haven't already), and there are magic effects that continue.

I'm not certain this is working after doing the initial blowjob a few times in a couple of different fresh saves with increasingly more minimal mod setups as nothing seems to happen in regard to the promised spell. Is it something that should be showing up in the magical buffs area as an ongoing effect? If you could just confirm what I should be seeing that'd be wonderful.

 

I'm pretty certain that I've got all the prerequisites.

New version up, a minor bugfix update.  The most notable change is that NPCs enthralled with the 'Ensnare' spell can now be used to power up the Ebony Blade.  This should be safe to upgrade mid-game, but as always: keep a save game.

After ensnaring Angrim, I now find myself with him as my thrall but also have the Raging Lust effect, which I thought was only supposed to apply to the succubus ending (and no I'm not playing the succubus race).  Could there be a problem?  I have not been to Yngvild or Ranveg's Fast, nor have I done the Succubus Lore quest.

It has been a while since I tested that ending, but as I recall that effect should have been dispelled.  I'll check.

 

Doing a player.removespell on it should fix it.

Is there any progress as to the make side so far ?

Since it does not seem to have been much interest (..), in any case, it would be quite welcome (being a so far quite uncommon adventure/experience).

There has been little or no attention paid to male player characters in this mod.  That would in many respects call for an entirely different mod... well, the magic system could be kept much the same, but otherwise no.

 

This is not incompatible with PSQ and I know some players combine them, but they have different takes on Succubus magic.  Personally, I'd choose one or the other - but I'm not exactly a neutral observer.  :cool:

Out of interest what exactly was the trigger to not be tired enough to get out of the armbinder in Rannveig's Fast?

 

First few times I either didn't get out of the binder in time after a whole bunch of spirit and warlocking fucking that saying no when a spirit really went badly for me, or was made a spirit, survived and then have Angrim tell me to piss off and be stuck that way.

 

Eventually made it by running up the stairs and getting out just as he was coming to get me spiritual before introducing him to two axes about the face, but it was a close enough of a call that I wondered what the exact triggers for the events were.
