Yeah, that quest isn't designed for a follower - in part because that would open up a can of worms where follower overhaul mods are concerned.

 

On the robe issue, that shouldn't have gone for the generic robe if you have CT77 remodeled armor.  Please post the ID of the item you consoled in, I'll see if I have a typo in the script that checks for it.  You aren't using a bashed patch that incorporates it, are you?

 

I'm thinking the XPO tie-in may have outlived its usefulness.  Or at least it needs to be conditional on a more obvious transgression.  There are a lot of other mods that provide such tie-ins now, and it isn't an essential part of this mod.

Going to try to tackle this,

 

There are a number of optional quest (started via books) and optional ties to vanilla quests, but they are all for alternate endings.  The default ending as far as I can tell does not require any questing at all.  Talk to Angrim, then wait out the timer and talk to him again, repeat till end.

 

Now for the other endings you may want to be levels 15-30 range to do the quests.

Carnal Magic

Heart of Dibella (Skyrim Quest)

Dibellan Teachings

A Night to Remember (Skyrim Quest)

Huh.  I wonder if CT77 changed it again, because that doesn't match my IDs for either v4 or v5 of the replacer mod (xx00d4c7 and xx02de9f respectively).    I take it that '3c' is the correct load order index for "Remodeled Armor - Vanilla Replacer.esp" in your setup?

 

Edit: Oh, I see.  That's the ID from this mod.  I was asking about IDs from CT77, because that's what I look for to determine availability.

What exactly am I looking for in Haemar's Shame for the "succubus lore" quest? I have a quest marker on the dead master vampire and there's nothing I can do to progress in this quest..

Yes, I am sorry, I just did "help seductive" and consoled in the lowest reference on the list.  It had the correct look and enchantments so didn't dig deeper.

You randomly get one or the other, can only do one per playthough.  Same end either way.

There are two versions of the robe in Angrim, one for the meshes as they existed in CT77 v4.x and one for the meshes as they exist in v5.x (the paths changed completely in the v5 rewrite).  From everything I can see, it should have detected the replacer version correctly and used the right one in your case.  But for some reason it didn't.

 

Oh well, your console workaround did the trick, and I haven't had any other reports of similar problems lately.  Maybe it was a fluke.  Thanks for following up, those supporting details may help if this ever happens again.

One difference: Rannveig's Fast is relatively easy to handle without getting caught, or to escape after being caught, so it isn't an 'ending' unless you choose to let the 'Hungry Ghost' part play out.

Regarding the lingering Ghost effects, there doesn't seem to be a downside (other than appearance) to remaining in ghost form...at least that I noticed.  I was able to interact with things, fight, cast, die, etc.  Perhaps something went sideways?  If that is normal, then for a future update perhaps have some NPC reaction to the appearance?  The random comment on appearance or even a potentially hostile/fearful reaction might be appropriate, like when you're in werewolf or vampire lord forms?  It would be an incentive to stay corporeal.  Maybe make it optional via MCM?

Ghost form is better protected vs. physical threats, but weaker to magic.  And Vigilants should be hostile on sight.  There are already some NPC reactions, but it is difficult to emphasize that without breaking things (which may be part of the reason why vampires mostly go unremarked, except in Vampire Lord form).

Part of your mod can easily be used to create a more "believable" succubus :

 

Create a girl with the succubus race mod

 

Add with console :

- set angrimplayerissuccubus to 1

- set angrimhascurse to 1

- player.addspell XX0053cc (where XX is the rank order of angrim's apprentice)

 

And you have a succubus who need to have sex often ;)

 

(optionnally add with the console set angrimsatiation to 40 (or higher) if you don't want your succubus to be bothered by her hormones to soon)

A character with the Succubus Race mod automatically gets all of those settings when created.  At least if things are working correctly.

Check for Papyrus log messages like the following, on initial creation or after game load:

[04/30/2015 - 08:46:32PM] [Angrim] checking player race...
[04/30/2015 - 08:46:32PM] [Angrim] player race is Succubus
[04/30/2015 - 08:46:32PM] [Angrim] Starting succubus effect

If it doesn't say 'Succubus', then it isn't recognizing the race correctly.

Great mod,

I have an issue where enetring the temple of dibella makes my game CTD but that's not your mod doing it, probably my pc who can't handle such a full building.

(i do use sisterhood of dibella)

Also i have one little error in my log.

I don't know if this is your mod doing it with the drain soul spell or something.
I did saw a visual effetc on the actor is 'USED'.

Yes, that first one is a genuine (though harmless) bug.  The second is probably unconnected to this mod, unless you just tried to use Drink Soul on something that might go away (e.g. a summoned Dremora) just prior to that message.  In which case, it is also harmless.

@Sacremas:  Not at the moment, no.  But if you tell me what race name to check for (i.e. what Angrim detects it as, "Angelic Temptress" probably), I can add it easily enough.  The mod should check it on every game load, just look for the debug output in the Papyrus log.

Angelic Succubus in that pack, it includes Angelic Temptress, Angelic Succubus and Angelic Ashen, as well as normal Temptress. Both the temptresses and the succubus should probably register, given how much about sexuality the temptress is.
