@AlericOfTheNords:  That doesn't actually tell me much about where you are in the quest; the order of spells is rather fluid.  But the general answer is, the same thing you have been doing - periodically returning to Angrim and asking if he will teach you another spell.  When he won't teach anymore, but sends you off with some plugs instead, then it is into the endgame of the quest and he will wait until your character is desperate ( satiation score <= 7 ) before proceeding to his next step.

Or, once you've learned what you want (and have the Agent of Dibella perk, and learned the Ensnare spell from a side quest), you can turn the tables on Angrim.

Hi,

This is what I found.

1. AngrimBookQuest3 is at stage 30.

2. I wasn't sure if it was running so I did startquest AngrimEmissaryReturns and also did it also with the code, after doing a Help AngrimEmissaryReturns to obtain it.

3. There is no "Angrim: player sleep event".

I notice something weird: Even if I was detected as a Succubus, it is written Succubus in the perk windows and everywhere else I always get this: "[Angrim] player race is Nord??". I was set a Succubus from the start and got the curse this time with-out the need to add it. Maybe this could be the cause but I also have ([Angrim] Registering mod events for Dibella's Favor. & [Angrim] Registering mod events for Succubus Curse.)

<EDIT>

I just did some further trouble shooting.  I returned in the console and type "showracemenu".  I was a succubus.  So I saved and went to sleep in the same castle near Angrim lair.  This time on the second Checking player race I was detected as a succubus. Then I got this on the last search for "Angrim":

[06/07/2015 - 06:40:15PM] [Angrim] checking player race...

[06/07/2015 - 06:40:15PM] ERROR: Cannot call IsInFaction() on a None object, aborting function call

Maybe this will help.

4. I made sure not to get the rumor that a kid was performing the Dark Sacrament so assume I have stage 0.  I have noting I my journal that lead me to go to Windhelm.  I do have a 2000 spetimes bounty, not in any heurry to get there  :D.

5. I did not use any hack and did not gave myself the AngrimPlayerIsBerserker.  I confirmed it with "help AngrimPlayerIsBerserker" and received 0.

6. I have none beside cursed loot. I turned it off on the second try, just in case, but it did not change anything. I do get "[Zad]: OnSleepStop()" but the sleep is not interrupted.

Now when I start the quest manualy nothing happen. I'm lost now. On my previous character I managed to start the quest.  With this one nothing happen and I don't have a single restraining device :s.  The only thing that change is: Before I had ECE and had to add the succubus curse manually.  Since I switch to RaceMenu and I received the curse automatically.

Hope you will understand a lot more than I do.

Regardless I love your mod.  Probably some weird Skyrim conflict.

Thanks for your help. :)

The race checks are not essential to that quest, or indeed to much of anything besides properly initializing a Succubus character.  But it is puzzling that it would claim Nord, when the rest of the behavior sounds correct.

It is possible that I added the 'player sleep event' log message to the script more recently, so the lack of it may not prove anything.

Helping Cicero with his cart might also set the DBEntranceQuest stage, though I don't think so.  Checking the stage in the console is the only way to be 100% certain.

Starting the quest manually would not have any immediate effect - it starts by waiting for a sleep event.  I'd be more interested in the output of the 'sqv' (show quest variables) command, ideally before you tried to start it manually.  And after, if the 'sqv' showed that the quest wasn't already running.

This is what I found running sqv C8031643. Hope it clear up things for you, sure did not for me .  I had this from a save before I ran "startquest C8031643".  It was the same thing before and after I went to Angrim for the last time and after I started the quest.  I also try after to stop and restart the quest but it would not start.

I have the Angrim version 2.02.

I did not help Cicero.  I really made sure I have nothing to do with the Dark Brotherhood.  Just to make sure nothing was triggered I did a GetStage on DB01Misc, DB01 and DB02.  I all three cases it returned 0.00.

Thanks again for taking the time to look into this :).

Drat.  That all looks perfectly normal, which means I'm no closer to figuring it out.  I'll see about adding some more debug trace to the next version, and also adding some way to force the quest along.

I'm using PSQ and the quest is enabled, but angrim detects as nord:

[06/12/2015 - 06:15:02PM] [Angrim] player race is Nord

PatchusMaximus for Perma has been run if that is relevant?

BTW - base race of the character is actually an Altmer

Hi,

Hi,

Some good news :D.  I manage to get bloodlust and had no problem, everything went as planed. I started a new game, still with a succubus.  For this play I changed two things.

First I removed "Live a Deviant Life".  In the early play the quest LADL kept stating I was bound even if I had no restrain on, so I thought it might trigger the "bound condition" and prevent the emissary to visit me one last time.  When I did a "player.showinventory" I notice I had some badID items worn (maybe restrains).  I managed to remove them all except one (xxx40F0F) but since it changed nothing I decide to do a new play without that mod that I replaced with "ImmerSlave".  This mod did not bugged and once all items were removed all the objectives for "Immerslave" were completed.

I still notice in the new play the presence of the badID (xxx40F0F) and found out it was the hide underneath restrain from "Devious Devices Integration".  I disabled it in the menu, but I still had it.  I completed the Angrim quest and got the Bloodlust boon :D.  I'm not sure if it was what cause the problem in the first place, but this gives you a place to look in.

Hope this will help

Signed: an happy Succubus ;)

Hi, I'm having some issues with one of the endings. I got to the point where Angrim summons an Emmisary, but before any scenes play it CTDs. I saw one response where it could be an FNIS/ZaZ issue. I have v5.2 for FNIS and v2015-02-26 for ZaZ.

I haven't had any other issues in this mod aside from a scene where Angrim didn't have sex with my PC and I went through two dialouge options during that, but I that was more my fault that anything. (I'm actually using my partners' account because I don't have my own and we just share mod lists/downloads anyway)

I can't seem to find the trap door by the abandoned farmhouse between the Western Watchtower and Fort Greymoor.  I believe I'm at the right house, but nothing is showing up as I walk around it.  Where is it supposed to be in relation to the chimney [assuming you are inside the structure and looking toward the chimney]?  Thanks!

Posted

It is on the left of the house, as you're looking at it from the front (the road).  On the Fort Greymoor side.  Note that it is outside the house.

Thanks!  Found the trap door with the help of the local map.  The tall grass from the summer mod I'm using made it hard to see.

I was captured by Arondil, Can just turn camera but lock in place kneeling. All he says is don't bother to move for few times already. Do I have to wait until he aroused?

You can still initiate conversation.  Talk to him.

Never mind, he actually pushes me further away first time around so I can't talk to him. A retry fix that. However, after I got the book, how to proceed? I says the book is ruin or something like that.

Go to sleep and when you wake up the quest will complete.

By the way, my character now has the Hungry Ghost ending, and needs sex for keeping her corporal form, which is nice. But is there a way to keep it lasting more?

Do I need to sleep in any particular place? I slept in a hut outdoor but nothing happen.

Never mind, I was wearing devices.

I'm having trouble getting the Dalliance quest to start. When I interact with the book nothing happens. I've tried using "SetStage AngrimBookQuest3 10" to force start the quest, and the console just fills up with "GetInCurrentLocFormList >> 0.00" and the quest won't start. Unfortunately I had cleared both Rannveig's Fast and Yngvild before I started Angrim's Apprentice. I've tried using resetinterior, pcb and SetLocationCleared 0 on both Rannveig's Fast and Yngvild to see if that helped and it didn't make a difference. I still get no result when interacting with the book and SetStage gives me the same spam of GetInCurrentLocFormList >> 0. I was able to complete the other book quests without any issues.

Is this a bug? Is it just not possible to do Dalliance if the two dungeons have already been cleared?

Posted

Most likely it is simply not possible for the quest aliases to fill if you've cleared those dungeons already.  Nor would the quest work even if you did somehow get the aliases to fill (unless resetting those dungeons somehow resurrected named NPCs, which is not likely).

D'oh! That's what I was afraid of. I figured there was no way I was going to be able to try the ghost stuff without starting a new save but I was hoping that I could at least find the book in the dungeon and get the encounter that gives the drink dreams spell.

In any case I love the mod, great job.

So now my only interaction with Angrim is the line: "Master Angrim?" and he replies saying that my character has no use for him as she is a spirit and can't maintain her form for long. So the story is over or is there more?

I only did Dibella quest and Yngvild.

someone played this please where to go to start the quest ?

i can't find where i suppose to be maybe a map marker screenshot  thanks

Talk to merchants and inn keepers in Whiterun for rumours about Angrim. That should give you a general idea of where he is. Look for his underground hideout and talk to him.

Hint:

It's near where you fought Mirmulnir
