Oghmatorro Posted June 20, 2014 Posted June 20, 2014 Thanks I'll try and just continue. I don't have CT77 Armor installed. Maybe something overwrote the file? Strange.
five_by_five Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 I've gotten all three endings. Brilliant stobor! Sadly I can't finish the 3rd ending. Read spoiler. The Sanguine ending, I get ctd or I get windows loud bong sound with screen freeze, this happens right after Sanguine's Emmissary has sex with pc. Please don't read spoiler if you haven't got all three endings. Note: Ghastly Scream spell didn't seem to work. I had C++ errors plus freeze a couple of times in the cellar. Managed to avoid them and finish the scenes (also the one you mentioned specifically) after reloading by taking everything off before initiating them ... except the DD items, obviously. Well at least I think that had something to do with it. Could have also been dumb luck Since I am done with the quest now, a little review: As intuitive as I found your Cidna mod to be, this was sort of the opposite, stobor. There isn't enough establishing dialogue at the start of it, and also some of the later interactions with Angrim have this "out of the blue" feeling to them. Mainly because he doesn't talk about the magic at all, instead the spells get dropped in your menu and Angrim fucks you. That's that. You clearly aren't bad at writing though, as the ingame books reveal, so I am not sure why you left these interactions so, um, sorta thin. At least for me the dialogue didn't offer enough context to ever feel like there is a mentor-apprentice relationship or to get an insight into what kind of guy this Angrim actually is. Many aspects including the location make it a typical case of "read the forum"-mod. Meaning: If you want to know what is actually going on, want to have a chance to find the guy to begin with, find out how the new spells/buffs/debuffs work, or how to even just provoke any ending at all: Read the forums! I really wouldnt mind if the whole thing would be a bit more "ingame" and unfold in a more transparent manner. As it stands, it leads to: play for a couple of hours, start wondering what is going on, if what you are experiencing is intended behaviour or a bug (that question is the curse of all mods really) or what you are supposed to do, save and exit, read forums. Start Sykrim. Rinse repeat 5 or 6 times. What I really did like was the magical side of things. They are the secret highlight of the mod. The spells are well chosen for what you are trying to do (flesh out a carnal magic school of sorts, pun intended), and so far seem to work flawlessly. That we end up with a permanent debuff of sorts ... well, might bug some people, but I do like consequences, so I wont complain.
stobor Posted June 21, 2014 Author Posted June 21, 2014 Those are fair criticisms; this mod was my first attempt at a quest / dialogue mod, and it suffers from at least two problems - it violates a number of Skyrim game conventions (causing people to wonder what to do), and it tends to 'sprawl' a bit compared to my other mods (which are more tightly focused).
Kendo 2 Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 @stobor Okay, I've done the three book quests and have some spells Angrim gave me. I'm at the stage in dialogue where he refuses to teach me anything new and just hammers my toon every time she asks him for more training. The only time the chastity belt is removed is for the sex scene and then he locks it back on afterward. I'm using the spells on NPCs and they are working (I can see the FX on my toon after the fact). My question is, are there level breaks to get him to progress the dialogue and add more spells? My toon has an Ilusion skill of 26 (Apprentice) and is the agent of Dibella. Do I need to be Adept level for the dialogue to change and for him to offer more than a royal rogering every time I ask him for training. I'm stuck in a pattern with him and it's getting kinda dull. I've already looked in the CK and I don't see any level break conditions in the quest. EDIT: I consoled AdvSkill Illusion to get to the Adept level. I did some dungeon diving and cast a few of the mod's spells on NPCs and made a save game. After restarting he is still just offering the fucking and no spells. What is the trick to make the quest advance and why isn't there in-game prompts to let me know where I stand with him and what the hell is going on?
stobor Posted June 25, 2014 Author Posted June 25, 2014 @Kendo2: from your description, you're most likely at the point where Angrim has nothing further to teach, and is waiting for your satiation score to drop low enough to weaken you ('help angrimsatiation' in console; it needs to be < 7 for a couple of possible endings - you can force it in console, or just stop fucking for 2-3 days). There are no level requirements at all. If you have the Ensnare spell (quest book hidden in locked chest), and Agent of Dibella, then a 3rd ending should be available at this point. Just cast Ensnare before talking to Angrim.
Kendo 2 Posted June 25, 2014 Posted June 25, 2014 Cool. Thanks for the response. I'll give that a shot. Love the mod, btw.
PubliusNV Posted June 26, 2014 Posted June 26, 2014 I just completed Angrim's quest for my 3rd straight playthrough. Great mod, I really enjoy it!
WaterRabbit Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Those are fair criticisms; this mod was my first attempt at a quest / dialogue mod, and it suffers from at least two problems - it violates a number of Skyrim game conventions (causing people to wonder what to do), and it tends to 'sprawl' a bit compared to my other mods (which are more tightly focused). I think I will have to echo five_by_five's comments. This mod has quite a bit of potential and seems to be well made. However, the player needs to have too much meta knowledge about the game to work with the module. I think if the dialogue with Angrim was expanded just a bit it would improve this module greatly. I like that you try to integrate with existing Skyrim quests. However, when I saw the reference to Sam the only reason I knew it was the Night to Remember quest was because of previous playthroughs. I think if you started the quest (the same way a rumor would start it) in addition, it would be helpful. For the Dibella side quest, it is unclear what Angrim would want the PC to have the Agent of Diebella perk. It seems to me it would be better to direct the player to the beggar in Markath to begin the quest. That way the player has the expectation they are going to steal the statue which might could be valid for Angrim. So to figure out how this mod actually works I have read all 43 pages on this forum because I appeared to be stuck. A large number of posts are because people think they are stuck. Part of this is that many of the interactions with Angrim are not obvious as to which conditions have to be satisfied. Some require a low satiation. Others seem to require a certain spell effect running which implies a high satiation. I think this is part of the problem as to why it appears the player is 'stuck'. By setting aside normal quest conventions, you are requiring users to ferret out the problem by going to the forum. Again some small tweaks to the interactions with Angrim would do much to alleviate this. I also think that the random nature of the interactions with him subvert play too much because it is not set up in the player's mind that is what is happening. But otherwise a good solid module. I look forward to you expanding it. PS: One other thought. While it is fairly clear on how to start this module from a meta-gaming standpoint, it might be interesting to have College of Winterhold mages point the player in this direction as well as 'hold' mages.
eflat0 Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Most frustrating! Don't now what the problem is but I keep getting a CTD whenever I try this mod. I seem to have all the required mods to make this work, but the game keeps crashing on start-up (unless one of the other mods you mention here as not being required actually is essential. Make sure you have sexlab arousal installed - that's a deviant required mod, Here's what you do... disable each mod from bottom up until no ctd - that clues you into bad order or something missing. I use boss but hate it's decisions on arrangements... ie. If it were smart it would arrange heavy graphic intensive things first. All the same... order is the key.
eflat0 Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Well so far... I went to him, gave him a bj, though cannot find any spells he's suppose to give me in my listings. I really think he's bluffing me, I blew that old fella bout a dozen times his prunes of a testies look like raisins now. I went and picked up the love elixir from arcadia - was not on any shelf though, she sold it over counter - returned and gave it to him. I read the two books ... Went to Hobs and got some beer soaked book - does not hint what to do from there, have a feeling is really a dead end because I already completed "A night to Remember." I did pick up a spell tome from the sucubi book quest though. I picked the locked chest in his cellar - did not take anything just looked. I'm still confused as he's not added a single spell to me ... and must have provided more than a dozen sexual favors to him so far. Oh yeah, this is a pretty bloated character - is a lvl 82 with near full spell/voice/powers lists from vanilla, dawnguard and dragonborn.

Seems is the norm ... I do not think anyone volunteers documentation, I understand they're interested in having people discover things rather than give it away. Yet is hard on the player as we're not quite sure if it's working or bugged - we're clueless as what is intended. Have a barkeep or add an npc in an inn or early game placement as this is intended to go along early within the game from what I see. ,,, and yeah, while not so important it would be nice to have a map marker on the basement door after discovered, sure running from greymore is not much but I could see it become annoying.

eflat0 Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Hi, I must say I'm curious about this mod and find the idea great. But I wonder if the mod is not getting in conflict with others. Let me explain: When I first met Angrim, I was disturbing him in his research. He then said he can help me and ask for a blow job. After the blow job I notice a magic effect ( I compared with an earlier save). When I talk to him again the only dialogue options I have are to renew the magic and the ones from the TDF prostitution and sex lab submit mod. I should maybe mentioned I have completed the Sanguin and Dibella's quests. Sorry for the following, the spoiler don't seems to work. I start looking around and notice some unread book (unread book glow mod). I Read them and received two quests. Am I supposed to find the quests like that or is Angrim supposed to tell me to do some other task first which will lead to those quest? I completed the two quests from the books and got the spell from the first book, and after the nap of the second quest (nap interrupted because of dangerous Nights mod) the event unfold but I did not get any magic effect or new spell. Only found a dagger on the floor. Is it supposed to be like that? Thanks for your impute and the mod. Same thing happened to my character... It completed that quest, I played it thru angrim and he still led to end. I went back to a previous save and did the same thing I'm not sure if it made any difference?
Daemones Posted June 29, 2014 Posted June 29, 2014 First off, great quest! Definitely a good addition to a kinky-slave Skyrim run. Not sure if I reached one of the 3 endings, but I got to the point where he summoned the Daedra Emissary and fucked my PC and said he had no further use for me. The other option instead of being fucked would force me into a ghost form. Is either option a continuation or end? I haven't touched upon the quest book you find instead his locked chest.
Snook001 Posted July 1, 2014 Posted July 1, 2014 Hi, I'm still playing your mod, I have a great time with it. I love the twist about the belt removing satiation when activating a spell, that was pure evil . Please tell me you have future plan, It would be awesome if my girls could meet sanguine himself and he had more in store for her . I have a request, I'm not sure if it is feasible, so no pressure. It is about the steal soul spell (the one which steal health and sprit, which damage the partner/aggressor). Is it possible to make it a toggle instead of a trigger? A little like the predator vision? The reason I'm asking is sometime my girls is taken in very dark area and in the middle of the action I can cast night vision (from predator vision) to see the action. A few time (Ok.., make this often, I play at expert level) I thought I was going to win a battle to suddenly being beaten and rape by my opponent. I could not stop to think how it would be fun to just toggle steal soul in the middle of the sex action (as a last stand) and severely wound or kill my opponent when he, she or it orgasm. That would be freaking awesome , and very fun to do . Thanks for the great mod and for listening, please tell me if you like the idea and if I can hope seeing it in a future update.
stobor Posted July 3, 2014 Author Posted July 3, 2014 First off, great quest! Both of those are 'endings' at this point (though they both leave the character with permanent abilities and drawbacks, so they're not really the end of play with this mod).
Kendo 2 Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 This really is a great mod. It is one of the few Sexlab-based ones I keep loaded. At first I thought the mod was borked I was stuck (which happens a lot with some of these mods). That wasn't the case at all. After understanding what the hell was going on it was all good. I like the mod so much I went back and deleted all of the saves from my first play through, changed Angrim to an old LezDom dominatrix and added some clutter and ZAZ stuff to the basement cell, and included a FemSub NPC with AI that Angrim molests. Not only is Angrim's Assistant a great concept for a mod but the spells and powers are actually very usefull if you travel and adventure with a follower.
r5e4w3q2 Posted July 6, 2014 Posted July 6, 2014 A few questions/bugs. How do you get Drink Dreams? From searching this thread I thought I was suppose to get it after finishing Dalliance but I did not. Got the book, then rested, had the (kinda glitchy*) meeting, no new spell. I did get that book last of the 3 you have to go fetch, doing them out of order break things? After using Ensnare on Angrim, how do you get him to remove the bindings he left on you? I can use his shop, or just use him, but no option to remove the collar and such he put on me. *so, it doesn't like small bed rooms, or bedrooms that are on an upper floor, or outdoor sleeping spots if I am also running your Sacrificial Spriggan mod... did find one that eventually worked. Then she kinda dissappeared half way though the act.
Lyrius Cantor Posted July 13, 2014 Posted July 13, 2014 When I go to the basement i can ask to renew the spell, but not to teach it to me. I could before and then he told me to go to the temple of dibella. ever since i did the quest there I no longer get the option to ask if he can teach me. Is this a bug or have I just not visited him enough (6 times i think)?
Plumber Posted July 24, 2014 Posted July 24, 2014 No idea what could cause a CTD at that point. I can tell you. Seems like certain SexLab and DD events can interrupt the scene and cause a CTD. When I turned off masturbation on belt removal and pre-sex foreplay and changed the option "use beds" to "never", the ending with Sanguine's Emissary worked just fine. You should probably add this to FAQ or something. "When in doubt, break the glass and turn off all unnecessary shit" P.S. Sorry, my English is bad.
stobor Posted July 24, 2014 Author Posted July 24, 2014 I can certainly see how some of those could break the scene, though causing a CTD usually takes more than that. The 'use beds' thing should not have mattered, since the animations all specifically say 'do not use beds'. Thanks for following that up.
Lord Ariakas Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Ok, I am really clueless now.I just read th3 posts, the mod description and still clueless. I have 3 spells I think the last was shadowdance? And now Agrim says something like I won't teach you now, but while you are here... and then he fucks me. After that he says he needs to regain his strength. I have the chasity belt on with the plugs and it is gettimg really annoying as he won't teach me and I cannot do anything as the plugs activate in every 5 seconds and my char is dying all the time as creatures don't care about her needs and just kill her while she is playing with herself. I went back to Agrim like 6 times still nothing. No new spell. I haven't got just 3 until now must be more... I tried to remove the belt, then Agrim says where did your belt go? He put it back and everything goes back to the loop. I tried to remove the belt while I doing quests and play outside, but with plugs and belt removed I still get the vibration and my char still masturbating?? Wtf? I don't really want to uninstall the mod but at this rate I am stuck and becuse of the vibrations it is unplayable. By the way i have immersive arousal plugin and now I am extremely aroused so I don't think my arousal level wouldn't be enough...HEEEELP please...
Plumber Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Use the console magic. set angrimsatiation to 4.0 - and Angrim will be ready to continue player.unequipall - after one of the endings (vibrations without plugs are usually the DD glitch) P.S. Sorry, my English is bad.
Lord Ariakas Posted July 25, 2014 Posted July 25, 2014 Thanks it is worked, but then the emissary came and I haven't got more spells.I am missing the ensnare and drink dreams too... It seems some of the content just missing...
