stobor Posted April 13, 2014 Author Posted April 13, 2014 Dunno, sounds like it skipped straight from stage 20-30 to the end when you used that cheat (which is for speeding things up at stage 60 or so, as I recall). How long you wait is irrelevant; how many times you asked Angrim that question is what matters. But you say you did that 30 times and that's all but impossible (odds against: zillions to one). If you have a save from before you bollixed it with a cheat code, can you tell what stage it was at?(Console command 'sqv AngrimApprenticeQuest').
stobor Posted April 17, 2014 Author Posted April 17, 2014 By the way, if you like this mod you may also want to look at my new Sacrificial Spriggan mod. Like Angrim, it puts existing quests to new uses. It is a simpler mod, in many respects, but allows for quite a bit of free-form questing.
PubliusNV Posted April 18, 2014 Posted April 18, 2014 I really like this mod, but I'm not sure that the Spriggan mod is quite my cup of tea. Still checking it out. With regard to Angrim's Apprentice, I completed the quest and now have a question (which I'll put in spoilers in case anyone doesn't want to know how the quest can end). I used the Ensnare spell to turn Angrim into my thrall, and apparently received a boost to my magicka reserves as a result. Is that boost permanent, or does it decay over time? Is there any need to go back to Angrim's basement and have sex with him again?
stobor Posted April 18, 2014 Author Posted April 18, 2014 @PubliusNV: No problem, everyone has their own preferences. That effect is permanent.
Alexandra The Nord Queen Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 CONTENT SPOILER! I have a doubt: When the Male Dremora appears and start to have sex, when you talk to Angrim cause is desperated, have 3 sex scene with dremora, right? And after that you're surrounded by some kind of Aura. Should happen after that? Cause the dremora just dismiss, after a time, and the only option with Angrim is "What you got for sale?". But nothing changes and the char continues bondaged. Is it right?
stobor Posted April 19, 2014 Author Posted April 19, 2014 @winchester: No, Angrim's dialogue options should change at that point (turn you loose and dismiss). Sounds like something prevented the quest from finishing.
Alexandra The Nord Queen Posted April 19, 2014 Posted April 19, 2014 @winchester: No, Angrim's dialogue options should change at that point (turn you loose and dismiss). Sounds like something prevented the quest from finishing. So, how can be solved? The char continues tied and doesn't appear the option to be released by others NPC. And what about the Dremora, he just pass the Succubus Curse and dismiss, is it right?

And what about the Dremora, he just pass the Succubus Curse and dismiss, is it right? Try 'setstage AngrimApprenticeQuest 100'. Angrim should have only one dialogue option: "I have no further use for you..." and remove bindings. If that doesn't work, there's nothing for it but to remove items via console - my chances of debugging this situation from what little information you've provided are pretty much non-existent.

Now works! Is there any problem if I kill Angrim after that? I know that he is essential, but i want to use "setessential 0" command to kill he. My char need to revange what he did
Guest xlaw10 Posted April 22, 2014 Posted April 22, 2014 I've gone and updated every required mod and run my list through BOSS, but I'm unable to actually get into the game. Anytime I try to make a new character, it CTDs. Anytime I try to load, it keeps loading without end. I'm sure it's some conflict on my end, but I've checked my load order and requirements and can't pin down what's not in order. Any advice on getting this going?
stobor Posted April 22, 2014 Author Posted April 22, 2014 Load it in Wrye Bash, it'll tell you what's missing. So would TES5Edit, I think.

I've been experimenting a bit, it appears that removing "Become High King of Skyrim" fixed it.
stobor Posted April 23, 2014 Author Posted April 23, 2014 That's just... weird. Why on earth would that mod have a conflict with a custom NPC dialogue? Oh well, I doubt there's anything I can do about it.
PubliusNV Posted April 23, 2014 Posted April 23, 2014 That's just... weird. Why on earth would that mod have a conflict with a custom NPC dialogue? Oh well, I doubt there's anything I can do about it. It's the mysterious complexity (and outright bugs) in Skyrim. A while back I installed a mod that changed the names of potions to make them show up in a more sensible order in the inventory. And for some mysterious reason, it prevented me from building the alchemy lab in Breezehome and the children's bedroom in Proudspire Manor. WTF?

I once installed a mod that allowed me to see ore deposits better. After I installed that mod I couldn't enter Whiterun anymore (instant ctd if I tried). When I removed the mod I could enter again. Really weird, but what can you do
kermit24 Posted April 25, 2014 Posted April 25, 2014 I've some questions about the ending: I came to the point where the "desperate for sex" dialog option appears and tried both choices. Is there anything else i can do after getting raped by the dremora / turning into a ghost? I tried using Drink Soul which kills Angrim but nothing else happens. Additionally i get no quest for the love potion at Arcadias Cauldron.
stobor Posted April 25, 2014 Author Posted April 25, 2014 Replies: Other endings: kill Angrim with Drink Soul make Angrim your thrall with Enthrall (and Dibella's favor) The love potion 'quest' is really only a minor errand at this point, a bit of local color. It only initiates at early stages of Angrim's main quest, and only if the prerequisite vanilla 'quest' is already done. You're not missing much.
Alexandra The Nord Queen Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Is there a cure for Succubus oath? If haven't, a quest about the cure shoulb be fun.
Alexandra The Nord Queen Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 another doubt. Is there some script command to reduce the time to be desperated for sex? I think that Magic lost is too fast.
JohnGlock Posted April 27, 2014 Posted April 27, 2014 Is there a cure for Succubus oath? If haven't, a quest about the cure shoulb be fun. No, at the moment the curse is permanent (unless you use console commands to remove the effect.) another doubt. Is there some script command to reduce the time to be desperated for sex? I think that Magic lost is too fast. ...I'm not even sure what you're asking here. Sorry.

But this happens too fast, I want to know if there's a way to occours more slowly.
Korella Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 another doubt. Is there some script command to reduce the time to be desperated for sex? I think that Magic lost is too fast. I think what Winchester is asking for is a console command to increase the time before sexual frustration sets in and your magicka starts to drain.
