Guest Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Hi, i installed this mod but the MCM menu in-game is completely empty and, while the key, the notes and the books are in the library, the orc doesn't have any kind of line aviable to start the quest. I'm sure i messed up the installation somehow. But deleting and installing again the mod didn't solve much. has this happened to someone else? Any tips to fix this? Thanks
xxsleepyxx Posted January 11, 2014 Posted January 11, 2014 Im not sure if mine is working correctly. i played thru the quest, and nothing really happens. i mean the devices get put on, but the only thing that happens is arousal goes up... and that really causes nothing but a debuff. and when i choose the devices and their options, all i get is a message about whats supposedly happening but nothing really happens. Is there supposed to be animations and effects or does this mod only manipulate arousal? Also when i try to put devices on npcs, they are shown to be equipped in the inventory but never appear on their body. Edit: I figured out the problem with the npcs, Its working ok, its just not compatible with paradise halls slaves. And the animations are actually there, they just hardly ever happen. Still not sure if theres supposed to be animations for the balloon device thing.

To be precise: i used assets 2.6.2, integration 2.6.2 and ftm 2.1. on the questline, with the cursed soulgem plugs, the vibrating was working correctly in the beginnig. i went on and played for hours, and then noticed, that something went wrong at some time, and the vibration didn't work at all. There were no random vibrations, and magic didn't activate it either. i tried a few things, like loading a previous save, but purely loading did not help, i had to load to a save, where it still worked. So in those saves it worked always, but in later ones it did not, so i had to jump back a lot of gameplay. After that it worked correctly for a long time again, but something went amiss again, and so i had one saved state where it worked (i deleted the others prior to it, because it occupied a lot of disk space), and the later ones did not work. At that point i checked the forums briefly, and downloaded the later version of integration, 2.6.5, then NMM, uninstall 2.6.2, install 2.6.5, fnis, and tried loading again. the one save where it worked did not work now, it just didn't vibrate, and the others didn't work either (the ones where it didn't work originally as well). I haxed the belt and plugs off, and tried to put it on again, but that didn't help either. And now i'm writing this, hoping that someone can help somehow to get it work again. Thanks!

Thanks What version did you install? Version 2.6.4 and earlier had an issue that could cause that. Yeah, 2.6.4 and earlier had a bug that could cause mod-wide script suspension. Verify that 2.6.5 works in a new game, then post a log of your upgrade attempt.

I'm not quite sure whats causing it or how to fix it, the file is definitely there but something is quite wrong. Any solutions? Edit:Added various papyrus logs, there is a bunch of junk in there so i hope they help. Btw it is an old save, stable, but old. Also ran into a problem where after removing the belt from a bandit I kept getting the message that the plugs would not stay in and they would end up in my inventory. I can't be sure if its related to devious devices for the masses or not, I have yet to try to fix this but I thought Id mention it.

But I just uninstalled the mod, went through a load/save cycle, then re-installed it so all the scripts were re-loaded. After that the problem went away. But I don't see why this would happen on a fresh install.

That error shouldn't occur, particularly on a fresh installation: Post a copy of your log, and I'll take a look.

I upgraded from 2.6.4 but the MCM menu was dead so i went back to an earlier save where the MCM menu was working so I'm assuming 2.6.5 is working for me Also I've had an issue with taking belts off NPC's since I can remove the stuff from there inventory that I gave them but then it shows them wearing an iron chastity belt (I'm nice I gave them the padded) which I can't remove by accessing there inventory/pick pocketting but when i used submit assualt on them the iron chastity belt is stripped off the NPC and doesn't go to my inventory or back onto the NPC when i'm done. swox Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 Hello All, i have the same issue with "libs is none in zadnpcquestscript" and Devious Devices aborting update chain, i have only Devious Devices Assets 2.6.2 and Integration with 2.6.5 but with a new save game i have no display message errors with Devious Devices. Now he has a pointer on his head to talk to him, but no dialog selections related to the belt. Is there some other requirement, like level or something to get the next part of the quest where you go find Zed to fire? thank you! love the mod, just wondering if i have a bad config or something... Edit Nevermind... i can't seem to get a game to reload after quitting skyrim... so doing a complete wipe/reload of the game now. or at least my hubby is... lol.
LHM Posted January 12, 2014 Posted January 12, 2014 If I may, there is a little suggestion I would like to make: When you are in the middle of a battle, and the plugs start vibrating, you automatically stop attacking and then the animation starts. At the end of the animation, you must manually get yourself to the attacking position again (which causes some problems at times). Would it be too troublesome to return the PC to the state before the start of the animation after it is over? Thanks a lot.

If I remove all the items from the character wearing it and then try the same everything works. Similarily stacked items don't seem to fire. Is my installation glitched or does anyone know this behaviour? I rechecked all REQ and should have them.

That possibly is it I still have 2.6.4. I will update and see if that solves the issue. You guys are updating to often and quickly. I barely can keep the mods up to date!

Also, I had Realistic Needs and Desires or w/e the mod is, and despite the belt saying I got barely any sleep I would still get the sleeping bonus for RND if I slept. But still, thanks for the great mod.

I turned off devices for the masses so I won't get the same problem as last time, although I *swear* I replaced her iron plugs with sg ones. /grumble I cast the sustained spell a few times and as far as I can tell, nothing shows up in papyrus. The ModManager menu is empty, I can 'unequip' all my items without the menu showing up, though they don't actually get removed from my character. This is the second different game this has happened on. EDIT: It sounds like this was a bug fixed recently... I was using 2.6.4. is there any way to upgrade or did this bug completely destroy my savegame?

That bug is fixed in 2.6.5.

When I click on the item again, it tells me I cannot wear more than one of that item. It is basically unremovable and I cannot equip any similar item. Is there a fix for this? I tried using a clean save, and it worked fine for a bit so I saved again. Upon reloading that save, the glitch is back... Edit -- I checked, I'm using version 2.6.5

This is indeed the correct thread. Remove it from their inventory, like you would any other item. You'll need a chastity key to remove the belt/bra, rather than the restraint key, which will remove everything else.

All I did was manually equip (I got the dialogue box when I put it on) it and then unequip it (I didn't get any dialogue box). Do you know how I can prevent this from happening or ensure that I generate an unequipped event?
