Greetings,

first things first: Armbinder – awesome! Gags – great work.

Though instead of denying dialoges completely I personally would prefer the NPCs messing around with your character a bit.

Maybe something like this:

PC: "Mmmh!"

NPC: "What? Oh, now look who's got a fancy toy in her mouth!"

PC: "MMMH!"

NPC: "Yeah, now who's a good girl? Who's a good girl?" OR "You didn't say 'please'. Come on, let me hear it: 'Pleeeaaase'"

PC-options: (persuasion) Look pitiful (50/50 chance on release or rape), growl angrily (leads to rape), better turn away

 

I very much second this. Thematically, it seems odd that I'm LESS likely to get raped when I have a gag in place.

 

Of course, I wish you could pick out some rape animations that would work with the armbinder and gag in place, but I suppose it'd be nearly impossible, especially if you also have a belt! XD

 

As another question, do oral positions work with the ring-gag on?

The other staffs can use keys or skills(such as lockpick.magic),but the gags either can't use keys,or skill options to take it off.

I do not know why.Is it possible not compatible with some MODs that I have installed?

 

 

hmm.. ok I misunderstood you. This is definitely not working as intended. I don't have this problem so it must be something caused by one of your mods or perhaps a corrupted savegame.

 

Did you try starting a new game to check if it still happens? If yes, the only other option that comes to mind might be to check possible mod conflicts.

Deactivate some mods and see what happens.

Yes, oral animations work with a ring gag.

 

The armbinder will conflict with sex animations though. At least until someone added armbinder sex animations.

Yes, oral animations work with a ring gag.

Just make sure that Sexlab strips the armbinder during sex for now: There aren't any animations fully compatible with it.

Wooo Min. The latest SexLab update fixed all my issues with upgrading the framework :D I was almost dead certain the issue wasn't entirely on my end :P

Anyway! Finally time to test those lovely gag functions. I just can't wait to put one around Lydia. I swear the next time that woman dares mention my burdens......

Congrats! :P. The gags currently don't prevent NPC's from talking while wearing them, only you from talking if wearing one. Tis a feature I intend to add in a future release.

Min mentioned a while ago, that a gag dialogue tree was planned and he will introduce something like this later.

Did you try Tab? It should open a message box with a few options to choose from. One of them is to struggle.

 

Yup: Have plans for a gag dialogue tree (Though, RandomNPC will have no more luck getting the gag off you without the key than you would).

 

[Tab] will display an armbinder interaction menu instead of opening up your inventory, only if Hardcore mode is enabled. If hardcore mode is disabled, you can access your inventory normally / access the struggle dialogue through the typical device interaction method (Try to unequip it).

Sadly, at the moment, there are no animations that are compatible with the armbinder. Would need a few custom made, if we wanted to enable Armbinder support for sex scenes. 

 

The system already supports that (Any combination of devices will filter fine). While there aren't currently any "Gag friendly + Chastity belt friendly" aggressive animations, you could toggle one to be used as such in your Sexlab configuration.

Found a minor issue with using the Devious Devices on NPC's.

When equipping them with the armbinder and one of the harness gags the last equipped item will overwrite the other one and break it's animation.

Like if Lydia wears an armbinder already with the arms behind back pose and I give her a gag, the armbinder pose will break and the mouth open pose will play instead. The same happens the other way around.

 

Was anyone else able to reproduce this bug?

Overlooked your post! While I can't test right now, it seems like that shouldn't occur: I recall testing both while developing them, and the "gag pose" is just a couple of Phenome modifiers.

		SetPhonemeModifier(akActor, 0, 1, 100)
		SetPhonemeModifier(akActor, 0, 11, 70)

Will test later, when I get the chance.

As it is only happening on NPC's and not the player, I thought it might be something with (possibly) npc specific scripts for the armbinder and the gags not working together well. Unless they use exactly the same scripts for pc and npc.

Though I get the feeling it's something in my configuration that might be causing this. Like EFF follower mod, a corrupted save again or a follower overhaul. I will check again for some of those possibilities.

I found out the hard way how limiting gags are when I got one put on my character via the Submit + DD integration mod. Completely stopped from interacting with NPCs at all, and as it's early in the game there's just no way she's going to be able to get that off, which will seriously hamper advancement through the game.

 

It'd be very much appreciated if there was a custom dialogue option similar to the armbinder, where the player could look pitiful and try to get assistance... then end up getting messed with a bit, possibly raped, and maaaybe have the gag removed at some point. :)

We're going to add some sort of gag dialogue: Probably not a removal option via it, but we'll see. 

 

stopquest zadGagQuest will disable the dialogue block for the time being.

That's a feature I'd like to add, but I'm not aware of a way of specifically blocking consumables.

Help! i installed everything and then i went to the shop and everything was fine, but after i bought a ballgag and an armbinder i noticed that i can't use it... when i equip it it marks it as equiped but it happens nothing, the armbinder and the ballgag doesn't show nor the animation... the shop assistants with the cuffs seem to work fine with the arms tied in their backs but i can't make my armbinder to work (or the gag) is there a special keybord key or what? i tried to open the devios devices settings in mcm but it doesn't either work...

What version are you running? If you're running 2.6.3, you may have hit a bug that was fixed in 2.6.4. If you're not running 2.6.3, upload a copy of your log, and I'll take a look.

You probably item added the "wrong" armbinder, the non-functional one.

 

Try another id, or use the correct method: crafting one.

A classic gag scenario would imho be if the npc kindly asks you if you are thirsty. When you nod if he is male he does a forced blowjob, if female she might force you to eat her pussy and then squirt in your mouth. If you protest afterwards he/she might say: "Ah sorry dear, you meant a real drink. Well, i can help you with that" and then forces you to drink alcohol or skooma. Afterwards when you probably try to complain again you are gagged again and the NPC says something like :"Ungrateful bitch, i had enough of your complaining."

 

Only very occasionally you should meet a NPC who is actually kind enough to really remove your gag.

by the by, while looking into some other things, I noticed I've been getting this error at game startup:

Looking into it, I see your Maintenance() functions take an argument, that you have a default set to of 'false'. However for some reason at startup the VM isn't recognizing there's a default set. so it's aborting for the wrong # of arguments. I tried modding the script 'zadPlayerScript.psc' so the 'false' defaults were explicity set, and now the On PlayerLoadGame() function calls succeed.

I guess that explains why I always had problems with the mod updating. I don't understand why it's requiring these arguments be set explicitly, but FYI.

can you block use of potion/fodd with the gag too?

 

That's a feature I'd like to add, but I'm not aware of a way of specifically blocking consumables.

 

Very dangerous is you run also Realistic Needs and Diseases on hard levels.

 

 

It'd fall under the "Hardcore Effects" category, if I were to figure out a way of implementing that feature (So, you could opt out of that feature if you wanted).

That issue was fixed several versions ago: I had neglected to recompile zadPlayerScript after making changes to the maintenance function.

Help! i installed everything and then i went to the shop and everything was fine, but after i bought a ballgag and an armbinder i noticed that i can't use it... when i equip it it marks it as equiped but it happens nothing, the armbinder and the ballgag doesn't show nor the animation... the shop assistants with the cuffs seem to work fine with the arms tied in their backs but i can't make my armbinder to work (or the gag) is there a special keybord key or what? i tried to open the devios devices settings in mcm but it doesn't either work...

What version are you running? If you're running 2.6.3, you may have hit a bug that was fixed in 2.6.4. If you're not running 2.6.3, upload a copy of your log, and I'll take a look.

 

I think i had 2.6.4 but to be sure i re-writed it and it's still not working.. and call me stupid but... where do i check the log? 

P.D there is a bug that when shop assistants sit down their bound animation break...
