@CliftonJD. The Archery skill is a good example. Archery is flagged as a combat skill by Skyrim.esm. Ergo, not a stealth skill and shouldn't be affected by the Thief stone. There are quite a few exploits like this fixed by USKP.

Hi !

I'd like to ask about a small bug i'm having recently.

I can't acess the menu of the first restraint I equip !

And only the first. If i click it again on my inventory, it just remove it from equip list (i can even throw it) , but will stay visible on my character.

Also, if it's a belt, the MCM menu still says i'm wearing one (while the Live a Deviant Life quest actually says I removed it).

Can any one tell me how to fix this? I tried a fast "sexchange" , but the item is still on my character, i also tried to reinstall the whole mod, with no success. It seems to happens only on my later save, but I really need to go back a lot for it to be fixd.

Sorry for my terrible english, and thanks if anyone can help !

Edit : Okay, I can get it "fix" by tricking the game on loading the menu from the armbinder or the gag one. Then, it works ok until I exit and restart the game. A bit annoying, but better than a permanent locked belt ... or is it? :D

Hello!

I have some problem with the "lustgem". How can I charge it?

Another thing: I steal the Forbidden tome and Urag doesn't see me, so the quest never start. There's nothing wrong with that, right? XD

[sorry for my english Xd]

You can speak to him to start the quest if he doesnt catch you.

Can't start it if you're already locked , too. So that can be the reason.

urag demands wont finish, after talking to him something is removed from my inventory but nothing happens, urag sex-scene doesnt trigger. tried talking to him sitting down and standing both failed to trigger the scene. any ideas

is there real advantages to finishing the quest line? Still stuck, urag not working for last part of quest.

@permidion:

Skyrim "suspends" (that is: stops and saves their state) scripts which do not end within a defined timespan.

- Unfortunately, this results in scripts freezing which depend on the suspended script to execute - so those are suspended too.

... Skyrim does not seem to reliably un-suspend scripts in a timely manner though, so eventually a stack builds up, which exceeds a defined height - and then Skyrim simply discards all the scripts and script data therein. Without an (unsuspended) mechanism to restart the affected scripts, those are then dead in the save and whatever relies on them is broken.

@ppetersmith:

Well, the advantage is to get rid of the otherwisely unremovable device. Might not be one for you, but mayhap is.

@Min:

As yet again someone does not seem to "get" the "Sergius' Experiment" quest, another feature request:

Once equipped, have a dialog option for Sergius to check the plug's charge. Have Sergius give information about whether the plug is currently charging and about how close it is to full.

Draft:

  • Sergius asks for participation in experiment.
    • on accept: Sergius asks PC to follow and walks into his room
  • Once there, Sergius describes the experiment (as happens currently).
    • mayhap do not let PC deny at this point: have Sergius point out that consent was given already
    • in this case, check for player faction rank; if still fresh, have Sergius (falsey) allude to benefits to PC progression
  • Sergius sets up the experiment as is.
  • After a few moments, Sergius returns to his usual timetable.
  • If PC speaks to Sergius now, add dialogue to ask for state of experiment.
    • If Sergius is not in his room, have him tell the PC to follow him to his room and move there.
  • If in his room, have Sergius check plug (mayhap employ NPC loot animation) and give feedback based on:
    • If charge < A and days since start < B, have Sergius state that charge be not meaningful yet.
    • If charge < A < 1/2 - e for a small e, have Sergius state that arousal not suffice to add charge.
    • If charge < 1/2 - e, have Sergius state that charge be in progress but still take more time.
    • If charge in [1/2 - e, 1/2 + e], have Sergius state that charge be about halfway finished.
    • If charge > 1/2 + e, have Sergius state that not much more time be necessary.
      • Have Sergius return to his usual timetable after any of these cases.
    • If charge > 1 - f for a small f > e, have Sergius state that charge be almost full and to move away would be unwise.
      • In this case, have Sergius stay in his room until PC addresses him again with charge full or charge < A.
    • If charge < A and any of the above had been triggered, have Sergius remind the PC that the plug will discharge if not removed promptly after reaching full charge and that the experiment must be repeated now.
      • Allow the player to protest but do not act upon it; have Sergius tell them, they are in for good.
      • Mayhap if days since start grows too big, have Sergius abort the experiment (interested in results to work with, after all).
  • If charge >= 1 and Sergius not in his room, have Sergius tell the PC to follow and sprint to his room.
  • If charge >= 1, have Sergius remove the equipment and note success, proceed from there as is.
And if then anybody else asks this question, I guess it cannot be helped.

- Also has the nice side effect of making this quest more immersive: Has Sergius demonstrate interest in his supposedly exciting and important work.

Thank you Zsar :) A really good explanation :D

Mistune: I think that was bugged. I jump naked in front of him and nothing change XD

is there any way to clean my save or should I just assume it is utterly broken and I have to use an earlier save where the problem hasnt appeared yet ?

@Retea:

Chrrh... that was a draft of what I would like to see in a future version.

An actual explanation for the status quo would be this.

@permidion:

There is this "Script Cleaner" tool on Nexus, which can remove script data from a save, and which I have no experience with. If you removed all script data from one mod, it should on the next load try to initialise itself like new.

... In theory!

Considering that something caused this problem in the first place, mayhap not the way to go though; you would have to find the root cause first.

btw, I am still getting message about device related "event", like "The belt-padding between your legs is slick and swollen from your lubrication.", while NOT wearing any devious device. I checked using "player.showinventory", also I put all my non-quest item in a chest and did a "player.unequipall"

I dont think thats normal. any idea why the dd script is still running while it shouldnt ?

Pretty easy initially probably. Plenty of saddle meshes out there for Skyrim. Adding in that part shouldn't be that hard. Scripting or whatever shouldn't be that hard either, just something like If player riding, do bla. And then spam some messages how you moan as the vibrator tickles your vagoo or whatever.

If you want help troubleshooting, please upload a complete copy of your Papyrus.0.log (as an zip/rar/7z/etc'ed attachment) in which you reproduce the problem you're experiencing, as well as a complete copy of your load order.

Sounds good. Fairly low priority changes for me though, for the time being. I'll put it on the bottom of the todo-list/heap.

Assuming this is in the save from the log you posted before, I'm unsurprised that you're encountering anomalous behavior. The scripts in that save were dead.

Is there any ability to make the vibration horce-saddle? Somethink like this:

pornolympics____by_larsbechnygaard-d5a40

Maybe, but you're looking for Assets on that request: I'm a programmer (And Integration is the scripting implementation of DD), Zadil is the modeler (And Assets as such, is the models/textures for DD).

yeah, seems that save is utterly broken.

I tried to uninstall every DD and sexlab related mods, and ended with "just" sexlab, zazAnimationPack and SD+.

At that point I tried to remove SD+ and zaz and the game crash when I try to save.

So the problem was with either of these 3 mods.

I will try to go back to a previous save and see if I can find one thats not broken :(

still, that majorly sucks :(

i'm just a gamer here enjoying a great list of mods here at the loverslab posting the bug report with the recommended support links for the further enjoyment of these mods from the next person who comes along - you may not know this but there's a youtube video out there somebody using a similar setup from 7 months ago, his video got so many hits he was asked to and followed it with a video explaining how to recreate the experience along with the 7 month gap causing requirements for it to change, its only surprizing with such a vast group out there who love these mods that the bugs are just now appearing or am i just the first to report the bugs from those that do recieive them. remember in addition that with such a large number of mods involved the users who attempt this have to be able to understand and sort the listorder for it to load without instant ctd's (took me an extra week of setup to fix that) and nergui pointed out something called loot with a nice link directing to a story from a dev who understands load order can be important past the ctd's (i kinda figured as much, just was never sure of it) so i may also get loot soon to confirm or adjust my load order.just like the timelapse between the 2 videos described game progression for me has changed some things involved since the bugs occurred

since then i've upp[ed the game difficulty settings from default to expert which caused more frequent vampire attacks in whiterun from the dawnguard plugin and caused the slaves of the "slaverun" mod or the hydra_slavegirls mod to be killed and their cuffs lootable - if worn by the player, both sets are detachable, but the wristcuffs prevent the wearer from unsheathing weapons or casting spells and the ankle cuffs add new "interesting" bondage animations during sex scenes (haven't reached the new rape scenes yet since) that so far appear to offer full support to the locked belt

More likely than not, the plug/belt equip order was a fluke Skyrim event, caused by some localized lag in your game: I can't reproduce it, and without a log fixing it is out of the question. The fact that it manifested for just you, after many thousands of players have played through further supports this theory. If you can provide a log reproducing it, I'd be happy to look in to fixing it.

The Sex animation filter that this mod implements is quite robust: There's an issue or two with it in 2.7.6 (No creature anim support, and a bug when trying to find animations for 3+ actors), though those are fixed in the current beta. I'm not familiar with the new animations you're speaking of, though I'm happy to hear that the filter is encountering no issues processing those unknown animations. :)

ok, fluke is understandable, my system is slow enough already, running this many mods has made it that much slower and the summer heat's making things worse here too....

as for the new anims i encountered seek out SD+ here at lover's lab, first page will say "click here to download this file" - next page will have a clickable thumbnail image underneath the download link to the main sd+ files - the 2nd image that shows up appears to be what i had during the anim that followed the error for missing file showing 2 of these, but i've never encountered them aside from that experience to know where in game you could find them nor do i know if the game treats them as creatures or sentient beings (aside from the photo on sd+ showing intelligence from the "aliens")

Update:

since then i had repeated crashes when i tried to goto "captured dreams" shop (closer igot, the more it crashed) with papyrus logging enabled now i was able to read thru the gibberish to the estrus util and leading upto the estrus chaurus files. had to disable estrus and estrus chaurus from the skyrim modlist then load the game and save it again, then re-enable them again for it to fix so i won't know if this also affected the initial fluke we started with, but the night i started that quest and encountered all this was also the same night i tested the estrus shout for the first time (don't know if that effects it either, could just be merely coincidence, but at least its more explanation to the fluke)

Never uninstall mods (Particularly scripted ones, such as Estrus / Estrus Chaurus) mid-play-through. You've condemned your save to an inevitable death by doing so.

any idea if typing "dps" in the console somehow may cause the script waiting problem?

because I uninstalled (really uninstalled, not just unchecked the mod in the Plugin panel of NMM) every single sexlab related mod (and obviously DD related) and Im still seeing these "State: Waiting on latent function (Freeze state: Freezing)" in my papryus log:

or are some of these message ok in the log, as long as there arent a shitload of them ?

Uninstalling mods doesn't stop their scripts in a save: It only ensures that you destroy your save. There is no such thing as clean-saving in Skyrim.

any idea if typing "dps" in the console somehow may cause the script waiting problem?

because I uninstalled (really uninstalled, not just unchecked the mod in the Plugin panel of NMM) every single sexlab related mod (and obviously DD related) and Im still seeing these "State: Waiting on latent function (Freeze state: Freezing)" in my papryus log:

dps is a console command to generate a papyrus log (which you would normally only get on a CTD) so it shouldn't do anything other than that.

Its useful for when you have a non-critical problem that you need a log to solve.

DumpPapyrusStacks (dps)

Dumps all Papyrus stack information to the log

What you need to do is uninstall your mods, run this http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/? then reinstall mods, this way all old scripts should be gone.

or are some of these message ok in the log, as long as there arent a shitload of them ?

Uninstalling mods doesn't stop their scripts in a save: It only ensures that you destroy your save. There is no such thing as clean-saving in Skyrim.

but, thats a new game

any idea if typing "dps" in the console somehow may cause the script waiting problem?

because I uninstalled (really uninstalled, not just unchecked the mod in the Plugin panel of NMM) every single sexlab related mod (and obviously DD related) and Im still seeing these "State: Waiting on latent function (Freeze state: Freezing)" in my papryus log:

What you need to do is uninstall your mods, run this http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/52363/? then reinstall mods, this way all old scripts should be gone.

thanks but I did that already, up to the point I only had sexlab, zazAnimationPack and SD+ left and at that point I couldnt continue to clean/remove because the game crash when I try to save the game >_>

im upgrading to the newest version and when installing expansion, it asks to overwrite some scripts from the new integration.  what do i do?  I know expansion is older than the integration but will the expansion work if i dont overwrite?

i overwrote. idk if its related but i keep getting a fatal error message during sex since i updated.  no one is even wearing any devices.  And i did a clean save

@permidion:

If that stack trace was from a new game, I guess it is time to reinstall Skyrim as a whole. There are vanilla scripts in there, which really should not cause such problems. Do you use the Unofficial Patches? Have you changed your Papyrus settings?
