A globe is a spherical model of Earth, of some other celestial body, or of the celestial sphere. Devs express their opinions about a wide range of topics through their games if one bothers to look. They do so pretty openly sometimes. But other times they're more discreet. If you bother to read all the various little passages in "books" and other stuff, you'll find them alluding to current trends/events. Bioware, for instance, came up with the theme for Kirkwall and it's dreary, oppressive atmosphere right after being bought by EA. 

 

Not a conspiracy really. More of a secret message kind of thing. But cool.

The spherical model of the earth was designed in our "western" cultural circle by the ancient Greeks and also the attempt to determine the circumference of this sphere by experiments ... which succeeded with a precision that is still amazing today ... 2000 years ago!

The heliocentric model of our solar system - developed in antiquity - was also known to the scholars of the Catholic Church and was even taught at their universities ... but now comes the crucial point -> it was forbidden to report about it TO THE OUTSIDE.

Copernicus is considered the "creator" of the model of the solar system named after him ... only recent research shows - that it was already familiarised with the teachings of antiquity on this subject during his studies as a priest.

The trial against the Italian astronomer "Galileo Galilei" was not about his observations as such - which were not disputed by the Church at all ... but about the publication of these observations ... but about the publication of these observations - because the Church wanted to have control over them.

A subject that I've read a little about and am interested in are the crusades into the holy land and the "liberation" of Jerusalem. Heard a lot of rumors and speculation about the church's aims there. One suggests that the original super-secret "mission" was to recover a holy relic I think.

This is just something that makes you think. By the way, this is from Twitter, now X, after Elon took over and exposed the bot network that they had there. Twitter also had "ex" FBI agents working there, and I use ex in quotes for a reason. Consider this though, any corporate owned forum that is a place for people to share ideas and that is popular, like YouTube or other platforms could and probably do have bot networks that are just as extensive if not worse than Twitter's was.
