eifrag Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 Well, I got myself Mod Organizer yesterday and managed to move over all my mods I have installed so far. But now I'd like to get the XPMS skeleton from this forum, which requires Realistic Ragdolls and forces. Â Thing is, I have UNPB installed with it's own skeleton files 'cause I selected the option when I installed the mod. Â Can I just strap on the ragdolls and XPMS extended skeleton in the correct order or do I have to manually change something? Â you can have those skeleton bundled in UNPB removed, hidden or let a mod grey it out it will look something like this -ragdolls (-) -UNPB (-+) -XMPS extended (+) Â and welcome to MO master race
AwfulArchdemon Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 I'm having a hell of a time trying to get Dual Sheath Redux working correctly using Mod Organizer. The DSR patch doesn't show up either. I've done a search and found some videos/forums where others have had the same problems. I've tried the solutions that were provided and still no luck for me. I used the DATA tab and was able to find the .jar file and run it. Still no Dual Sheath Redux patch.esp. Has anybody else run into this problem and found a solution? Wait, the DSR Patch doesn't show, but you found the .jar??  .jar path:  ModOrganizer\mods\SkyProc Patchers\Dual Sheath Redux Patch\Dual Sheath Redux Patch.jar  ?   Anyway, when you consulted Google Almighty, were the other people that were having problems trying to use it with MO too? Anyone report the problem without MO?  I may have to investigate, but school's erasing all free time. Got 18 hours of drawing to do, and a full character animation. ....but I'll try.

entro Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 is it safe too upgrade too the latest version? using 1.2.11
AwfulArchdemon Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 What an odd thing to have to do...... Â
AwfulArchdemon Posted October 9, 2014 Author Posted October 9, 2014 is it safe too upgrade too the latest version? using 1.2.11 Honestly, I would like that (I like testers ), but no 100% guarantees about SKSE working perfectly. I haven't been to MO on Nexus forums lately. Been busy as fffffffffffffffffffffffffuck!! I'm gonna go see what's going on over there.  Be back soon...
Arthenon Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 I made it an executable following the directions from S.T.E.P. Let me give you some more info. The patch was there earlier where I would activate it and it was working. Then one of the other mods I installed did something and my animations were messed up, my one handed weapon would show on my hip instead of my back (like before). So... I uninstalled Dual Sheath Redux, to try and fix it. I followed Slothability's video over at Nexus and installed everything. Â I would like to start over completely with FNIS, Dual Sheath Redux, XP32 maximum skeleton,Immersive Animations, realistic ragdolls and force.
RitualClarity Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 I never used that program... yet so I wouldn't be able to help you further. It should be a simple matter to reactive / run the .jar. I can't understand .. like you .. why it isn't working when it should be.

Maybe even one that changes the weapon slots? That would certainly confuse DSR.
Arthenon Posted October 9, 2014 Posted October 9, 2014 No but I've got 360 walk and run plus and YY Anim Replacer - Zweihander activated too. I'm wondering... when I uninstalled/removed Dual Sheath Delux patch from MO if that messed up the data folder?
RitualClarity Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 No but I've got 360 walk and run plus and YY Anim Replacer - Zweihander activated too. I'm wondering... when I uninstalled/removed Dual Sheath Delux patch from MO if that messed up the data folder? No .. I don't think the data folder should be messed up if you installed all the above mods with MO. MO keeps everything out of the data folder. The only problems would be conflict of the mods installed. Might need to reorganized the left side ( install side) of MO to prevent this. You can also "hide" a file
AwfulArchdemon Posted October 10, 2014 Author Posted October 10, 2014 Then one of the other mods I installed did something and my animations were messed up, my one handed weapon would show on my hip instead of my back (like before)Â So which mod was it that you installed? You may want to look at incompatibilities on the Redux page or the mod you installed's page, and maybe the other mods. I don't use it either, but MO has it's instructions, so if followed, they "should" totally work. Â I'd like it if someone who uses Redux would chime in about now.
Dubhorizon Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 is it safe too upgrade too the latest version? using 1.2.11 Â Couple days ago I upgraded from an earlier version to the latest without any problems at all. (must have been either 1.2.6 or 1.2.10). Just simply overwrote everything asked. Used the manual method.
Neogeo Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 It seems that I'm close to reinstalling Skyrim once again (for the... uh... 10th time?) 'cause it seems to have some RaceMenu leftovers or some bullcrap which screews up my ECE. Â Is there a way to backup the current load order AND mod order to automatically install them back? 'cause smacking on the whole RealVision setup for the 10th time gets a bit annoying...
Rayblue Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 If you have 7zip or Winrar installed, go to your MO profile, select the files and then create an archive. This way you can go around the 3-slot limitation and if you botched up with the load order you can draw from the archived lists.
eifrag Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 is it safe too upgrade too the latest version? using 1.2.11  the way I update MO is different and so for this way works flawlessly  I DLed the complete non installer version of MO then I copied all things I need from previous MO (mods, downloads, categories.dat, profiles, overwrite) to my new MO make sure you dont left anything important behind  if all goes smoothly its now safe to delete the old MO folder and enjoy the glorious new version of MO  edit: I forgot to say that you also need to unblock all files and set MO.exe to have admin rights
Arthenon Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 So which mod was it that you installed? Unique uniques, Daedric Dawnbreaker and 2 follower mods (Eva and Lynea by YuiH). That's it. Sorry for not answering earlier.

'cause smacking on the whole RealVision setup for the 10th time gets a bit annoying... Your post has me confused. Are you using Mod Organizer? If not why post in the MO forum. If so did you install any mods without it? If all your mods where installed with MO then you should be able to run a completely vanilla game of Skyrim using the standard launcher not SKSE. Can you? If so then their is no need to reinstall Skyrim. If not then yeah reinstall and use MO from now on.  So if your using MO and can run a completely vanilla game then all you should have to do is remove the RaceMenu mod and maybe reinstall your ECE stuff. It's possible that you installed a mod that had race menu extensions or changed race menu some. One way to possibly find such mods would be to install race menu and see if MO shows it having conflicts with other mods. Then you could uninstall those mods and maybe reinstall them without the race menu extensions.  If you are using MO properly then their shouldn't be any need to reinstall skyrim.
gaspode Posted October 10, 2014 Posted October 10, 2014 Hej hej, Â I have finally decided to use the mod organizer. After so much trouble and fail with the NMM it was about time. I lost count of how many times I reinstalled Skyrim. Oh dear ... Thankfully, Gophers great videos make the switch a lot easier. Still, I encountered a problem and I apologize if this has been asked before (this topic is soooo big). Â I installed a couple of mods and everything worked fine, but then I tried to install the sevenbase body (I tried BBP and the TBBP body) but there is no breast movement. I use the enhanced XPMS skeleton (but tried also the normal XPMS). Â Here is how I sorted the mods: Â Unofficial Skyrim Patch Unofficial Dawnguard Patch Unofficial Hearthfire Patch Unofficial Dragonborn Patch SKSE Scripts SkyUI Alternate Start RaceMenu Realistic Ragdoll and Force SevenBase TBBP RealGirl Body Texture Castanistic Idle XP32 Maximum Skeleton Enhanced FNIS Â That's all the mods I have installed for now. I bet it's some facepalming mistake ... Â Â

MO will keep those files that you installed safe and out of the way of this process. Then go back and install those mods using MO and you should be good after moving the priority ( left side) to the right places to get the desired results.

'cause smacking on the whole RealVision setup for the 10th time gets a bit annoying... Make a copy of your 'Profiles' folder. That has the txt files you need to keep your load order and active/inactive mods intact.  If you have leftovers, that means one of 3 things: You installed Racemenu manually, which means you should look at the original mod's contents, locate those files, and delete them You have the infamous .tri files in your Overwrite folder, which means you didn't upgrade RM to the newest version, or you did, and forgot to delete those .tri files from Overwrite You have both installed at once. Those 2 are reportedly incompatible. Pick 1 or the other. I recommend RM, personally. MO doesn't leave "leftovers". It's entirely virtual, so no files were ever installed to Skrim\data   So which mod was it that you installed? Unique uniques, Daedric Dawnbreaker and 2 follower mods (Eva and Lynea by YuiH). That's it. Sorry for not answering earlier.  Both of those mods alter your weapons. I wouldn't be surprised at all if both are causing your issue. Deactivate 1 of them and see if you're okay. If not, reactivate it, and deactivate the other one and check. If you're still screwed up, keep them both inactive.  Then report back.  Hej hej,  I have finally decided to use the mod organizer. After so much trouble and fail with the NMM it was about time. I lost count of how many times I reinstalled Skyrim. Oh dear ... Thankfully, Gophers great videos make the switch a lot easier. Arthenon Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Just a heads-up, there's a new "Dual Sheath" video for Mod Organizer users at Nexus by Mike of GamerPoets.
AwfulArchdemon Posted October 11, 2014 Author Posted October 11, 2014 Just a heads-up, there's a new "Dual Sheath" video for Mod Organizer users at Nexus by Mike of GamerPoets. Right. And it's going on my OP
Arthenon Posted October 11, 2014 Posted October 11, 2014 Ok... Dual Sheath Delux is working again. The new video helped. Now I've got to figure out why HDT Breast Collision is not working while the other HDT stuff does work.
