Excess fps can also cause other collision issues such as objects flying off tables when you enter a room.

I have been searching for a solution to The following error when running FNIS: ERROR(53): Could not find file 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Skyrim\data\meshes\actors\character\behaviors\1hm_behavior.hkx'. I uninstalled Lovergirls race and now I get this error.  I have re-installed FNIS and my Skeleton.  I am posting here since the FNIS installed to NMM is operating correctly.  Very confusing to me. Thanks for any pointers that can be provided.  And no I did not read all 100 pages but did search here and Google.

Edit:

Re-installed Ultimate Combat  >>Warning:  1 non-FNIS behavior files in meshes\actors\character\behaviors. They CAN be the cause of Skyrim incompatibility:<<
1hm_behavior.hkx

At least not it is not a critical stop error.

I'm a bit confused, are you running both NMM and MO together?

No, I have not uninstalled NMM is all.  Nothing points to NMM for execution but I looked at it to see if I could get a clue.

You really can't have two managers running at the same time. Files being managed by NMM and files being managed by FINIS. There is a battle. You uninstalled a mod and some files were removed in the process and those files are what you need to get the FNIS errors to be repaired. Some of the files are installed into the data folder via NMM and others are injected into the data folder by MO. It is just creating a mess. Choose one. You need to remove one of the two managers. MO or NMM and keep with one. Then re-install the mods you use .. all of them with on manager and keep to that manager. It is the only way errors won't occur when uninstalling a mod like happened with you uninstalling a mod. If what I think happened.. happened then you need to NUKE and rebuild. Delete everything and start over. Hopefully you have backups of the mods you downloaded.

Now if NMM is what you want and have most of the mods installed with it.. just remove MO and then install everything with NMM and hope you install all the files needed. Might need to reinstall all the mods once again but hopefully you won't have to NUKE the game and reinstall it as well.

Other mod manages have to be used( when needed to be used only as directed by STEPS project) through MO that is MO starts the mod manager so that all those files get dropped into the overwrites folder. NMM isn't needed in any case I have ever heard of since NMM is included in MO management. The only other one used is OBMM and FOMM for select mods. Perhaps WyreBash for tools included in that one as well.

Possible Solutions:

  1. Stop using NMM (goes without saying)
  2. Install FNIS to MO (clearly)
  3. Install all of your NMM mods to MO, and delete NMM (be sure to run SUPERDelete on it after to really toss that thing into NULL-space)
  4. Clean all files in Skyrim so MO can do it's job properly (make Skyrim default)

Mini-Poll

I got a quick question for you all:

Should I upload all old versions of MO to my 4shared account, and give the link here? Does anyone feel that they will need an old version? I only ask because I used to post every version, but there's only so much upload space on the OP.

Does everyone (anyone) want an old version, or think it's beneficial to anyone to upload all versions?

  • YES - votes = 2
  • NO - votes = 2

Sometimes it might be necessary to have an old copy at hand should we see that there's something wrong with the recent update. I usually keep backup copies of only the most necessary mods and utilities.

That's true but I always have the last few versions on my OP. In MY inventory, I have versions going to way back in the day. :P

Edit: At any rate, that'll count as +1 for YES.

I think any more than four older Versions of Mod Organiser being available is uneeded here on the Lovers Lab Thread for Mod Organiser. Your Idea of a link to Older Versions is not a bad idea, just in case.

Not really necessary as the current versions (last three or so) are the best of the bunch. There are plenty of versions to go back if there is a problem with the most newest one. Finally many here have copies as well as yourself if there is a legitimate reason for going back to any versions before. This can help prevent problems and encourage members to take full advantage of the current versions and their improvements while minimizing confusion and tech support issues when some member posting problems are using a very old version as some tools have changed and been updated. You know those older problems with versions.. ;).

lol @RC: The 0 wasn't for voting, it was the number of votes for NO so far. :P

And it just changed to 1. ;)

Edit: Whoops! I meant 2. I was ninja'd by corespore.

Shoulda been more specific. It'll be edited with every vote. When one vote is clearly outnumbered (like 8 YES and 14 NO, or something), I'll upload (or not) all MO's.

Even if I don't, I'll have every version still, but I 'm about to install a new OS, so that's when I decide whether to keep them or delete them. My comp has less than 43 MB left, so I need to do like Skyrim, and reinstall. Just forget about all these damned programs on my comp, and start with squat.

There isn't a reason you shouldn't upload to 4share, Dropbox, Box, google drive or any other service. Just that it in my opinion shouldn't be "encouraged" that members use the older versions. We know how good the current versions are and most here that used MO for some time know that there are some issues that need to be addressed when dealing with older versions and many of them have shortcomings.. the reason they are old versions..

I know.. just having some fun at your expense.

lol We need animated icons. I want to see ninjas swinging a sword or vanishing and leaving a log behind, or something. :P

I think the following would be more interesting than a ninja swinging a sword and disappearing leaving a log.

How is the new version? I see some scary stuff on the Nexus comments and am afraid to update. I'm still at .11 by the way. x.x

So am I.

I'm not scared :P. What has you worried, Contessa?

Are you using the current version? I haven't gotten the prompt from MO for an upgrade. Guess it has to be manual no automatic

@contessa. You are safe if you make a good backup of MO before upgrading. Then upgrade.. Worst that can happen is you delete the new and restore the Old.. No problems only a few minutes.. Really all I think you need is Profiles, Downloads( if you keep stuff there) and Mods folder the rest MO will provide.

Right, sorry about that.

Ahem!...

Update 1.2.14 has been released. This of course includes all changes from 1.2.12 and 1.2.13 which weren't announced because of stability concerns.
This is again a bugfix release, please see the changelog for details.

In other news: Gopher has created a great and very detailed video-series on Mod Organizer. You should head over there and check it out if you haven't already: http://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLE7DlYarj-DcLS9LyjEqOJwFUQIIQewcK

Also: I've moved the translation project of Mod Organizer to transifex (https://www.transifex.com/projects/p/mod-organizer/).
The server I was using before had a tendency to crash whenever I was on holiday or otherwise unable to restart it right away.
If you'd like to help the translation effort, please register on transifex, then head to the mod-organizer project, choose a language and request to be added to the team.
Unfortunately it was not possible to carry over the existing translator accounts and the log of their contributions. Please the see the "Thanks" section below for a list of people who contributed to the translations.

There we go. Sorry 'bout that. :P

The update as worked find for me before. However this time it isn't prompting me for an updated. Strange. Unless it is becasue now there are several versions above .11? It would be a nice thing if it would, at least then individuals would be aware of the updates and not have to manually install.

Yes. I know and have done so many times. Just don't understand why now it isn't working. I am.. more exactly was up to date unlike before so I should be prompted for updates.. Just brought that up in case ther is a problem or it isn't working etc. Forgive me if you mentioned it but are there any highlights to what was done for this one.. I know it is a bug fix mostly but what bugs fixed and what was needed as I didn't notice any issues in my use.

- windows exceptions from outside the hook.dll are now reported only once

- will now report the user-agent on server errors to help clear up problems with nexus filters

- workaround: GetModuleFileName hook will no longer clear the whole buffer because a couple of applications signal incorrect buffer size

- bugfix: reported module for non-hook.dll windows exceptions was wrong
