Also HOW / WHY are some videos from XVideos (With THEIR player I might add) being allowed through while others (Like mine) continue to be blocked?? (There are videos ALL OVER The Sims 4 board with this problem) 

 

Is it a problem with XVideos or LoversLab or are some people doing breaking the rules & circumventing firewalls??

Upload should be fixed now. The server ran out of disk space again, freed up a bunch, and it should be good to go again for a little while. 

 

As for XVideos, I don't think it's anything to do with LL. Just make sure you are posting just the embed URL and not the whole embed code, and press enter after pasting the URL into the post. Other than that, maybe check the permissions on the video in XVideo, see if embeds are disabled or something.

 

Can you show me an example of a XVideo that isn't working for you?

ALL of them. I'll give you an example

 

This is onf my videos yet this is the way it appears when I paste the URL here on LL (It says XVideos is blocked)

Not sure what method of embedding you used there, but I removed it from that particular blog for you. If you want to go through your backlog of other entries and make the same change, message me on Discord, and I'll set it up so you can do the same. It takes some specific tweaks I'd prefer not to get into here. Or if there aren't that many that need to be fixed, just send me a list of blog entries and I'll remove them for you real quick.

I'd like to ask if there is any policy about posting multiple pictures without spoilers. 

 

I know that it really is just a form of curtesy towards everyone to post large pictures or multiple pictures in spoiler tags but at some point when does it go from 'common (or uncommon) curtesy' to 'mandatory'?

 

I ask because I have entered threads where one or more users have posted multiple, sometimes as many as 6-8, full size (1920x1080) images. This would be marginally palatable if it weren't for the fact that it isn't just one user but many. The result is quite literally a wall of images.

 

I have no idea if posting that many images openly actually affects the site's server speed. Does it? I imagine it can't help especially since the site seems to be moving at a snails pace for so many users. 

 

Even if it does not affect the performance of the site when does the obnoxious behavior of posting walls of images become too much?

Have you decided how the screenshots for our mods will be sorted?
Currently, the oldest screenshot is on the far left and the newest on the far right 
(which I think is the worst solution, as users don't see the newest image). Will this remain as is, or will it be changed?

I could live with it, but I'd like to know if it makes sense to delete the screenshot and re-upload it, or if the algorithm will be adjusted again.

Click "Send me version updates" at the top of the file page next to the follow link.

Considering there is simply no pleasing everybody, and everybody seems to want it sorted a different way, I'm mostly inclined to just set it to the default sorting methods used by the software, since that doesn't require re-editing the forums' source code every update.  It's unfortunate that it can't be easily configured, either on a software or per file page level, perhaps in a future update, and its functionality I'll certainly be keeping an eye out for in the future.

It's mainly just a matter of common courtesy.  I wouldn't punish anybody for it or anything, but usually if we get a report for stuff like that, or somebody posting their entire huge text log file outside of a spoiler, we'll do a quick edit of their post to add spoiler tags, or at least I do when I see such reports, I'm not sure how the other moderators handle them since it's not something we've discussed before since it's just an ettiquete thing.

I just changed it to sort alphabetically like we talked about before. If enough people like it that way I'll do my best to keep it that way.

I don't know if it's a new feature or if I'm just seeing it implemented more, but as a mod user I really like the tabs on the mod page. Separating out the install instructions (especially when they're more intricate) from the mod description is really nice, imo.

It's something I've been testing as an additional detail for mods to provide. Glad to hear it's being well received, as it hasn't been implemented in other game categories yet, but I'm feeling more inclined to expand on it.

Yes as I tought i was aware of it as most of mod i have I have those turn on yet i still get notification from when people talk in the support thread. See attached screenshot.

I really just want to ask one question: would it be possible in the future to actually block users I ignore? Right now, they see all my published content, comments, etc. in the same way, and I don't want that. Likewise, I don't want to see the things they post (not just the comments). I know it wouldn't be easy to implement, but I think there would be plenty of demand for it.
Another thing, I would also be happy if, for example, my blog could be set so that only registered users can see it. Of course, there may be such a function, I just don't know about it.
