What errors uploading pictures? The broken image issue has been fixed a while now, and the GIF problems mentioned above aren't a site issue; they are an issue with bad GIF encoding.

There's always been periods of slowness, especially on weekends when traffic is heavier. Though the site is actually performing pretty quickly for me at the moment, so I don't see the complaint. This is nothing new, and there isn't much I can do about it at this point other than throw money I don't have at it to upgrade the servers again. Error messages remain as uncommon as they have always been, and typically result solely from attempting to perform something overly complex and/or resource-intensive.

Sure, there are occasionally bad days when something breaks, but it still typically gets fixed quickly, just as it has always been.

Today, the site was difficult to access from Europe – ranging from very long loading times for forum pages and their updates... to a complete loss of communication.

This is most likely due to excessive traffic over the weekend.

I just performed some server updates and restarts, which should help a little bit. Ignore any errors you might've seen in the past 20 minutes while it was being performed.

I got a few broken pictures uploading, and the upload speed was too slow. I know the weekends are always problematic in speed, but I hadn't had such problems in a long time, until recently And this, endless looping

I'm european (mainland) and didn't had any problem yesterday. It may your ISP that had a problem with this particular website.

Ich bin Europäer (Festland) und hatte gestern keine Probleme. Möglicherweise hatte Ihr ISP ein Problem mit dieser Website.

Since my data runs through the main hub in Frankfurt (Main, Germany)... and the BND (Federal Intelligence Service) is conducting real-time surveillance of all data traffic on behalf of the CIA and NSA (this has already been the subject of parliamentary debates)... so who knows?

My home country is NOT part of the "Five Eyes"...

UK. It was slow over the weekend with cloudfire errors but I put that down to it being weekend. Now I've experienced the same slow loading to the site and slow loading within the site over the last few days.

Anyone know why I keep timing out when I am writing a verbose message in DM.

when I go to save it says I do not have permission to access this page.

But, then it gets better, It will not allow me to log back in. (literally kicked out)

I have to exit the site, then log back in.

Whereupon when I check the message I wrote......it is gone

How much time do I have to write a message before I am kicked off the site.

On that tangent, according to this wikipedia article, Germany is not even part of 9 Eyes. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Five_Eyes

Pro Tip for any website forum - if you are going to write something substantial then use Notepad or whatever and paste the finished article into the forum. Learned that one the hard way many years ago.

Any way to make a Status Update "Sticky".

I am finding myself deleting a status update every time I have made 5-10 posts.

I need this status to be on top of activity on my profile.

Precisely it is the invitation link to my Discord.

As others have stated, this site alone has been very slow over the last few days, no issues ~1 week ago. Something big has changed, the cause should be traceable whether it's an update that broke something or a DDOS attack, idk. If it's the latter, perhaps amp up the DDOS check? It's a common enough thing that I don't think it would be that difficult to update.

Yeah, was able to finally get on here for once, takes like...15 seconds to load the main page...after that it's SOMETIMES fast, and like bounces back and forth between normal and what I call "dial-up mode" lol

Yesterday evening (for me), I di have an "unknown" error from Clouflare. After reloading (F5), the site was fast like nothing happened just before. My bet : Cloudflare may be the true culprit on this one.

Hello! I use this wonderful site to host my mods. First of all, thank you very much for making that possible ❤️

After using “edit details silently” to change a description, I noticed the links to other mods I entered before were gone - only the plain text remained. I was able to fix it, but perhaps there is a technical error on the site.
