Is there a reason that the maximum file size for a mod upload is 250MB, but you're allowed 500MB attached to a comment? It feels a bit backwards- authors have to keep their mods small, but people can load half a gig onto the site's servers in a comment.

Mod uploads can contain multiple files of that size. Comment attachments have a 500mb limit for all attachments combined.

Is there a reason for that? Server limitations, or something of that nature?

yes: morons trying to upload GBs of videos to the site, this is a mod site not pornhub.

Don't know why, but I somehow "lose" my flags around the forum. Like, just now, this very subject (round flag, when it would be a star flab because I posted in it before). Are flags timed now ?

Edit > Lose my flag on this subject right now (worked yesterday). Strange...

So, yesterday, I did have a "answered flag" (the star) in this subject. Today, gone...

What it's strange is that other subjects don't havec this behavior. Only the ones most actives. Any idea @Ashal ?

Moving on because opinions, assholes; you get the idea...

That's the world, friend. The world is full of assholes. You either learn to deal with them, or life will be miserable. I'm not trying to judge you. I'm just giving you some advice.

A downvote button on a modsite is as useless as a chocolate teapot. Most of us are here to share or download mods, not to downvote opinions we don't like but are to spineless to comment on.

Well said. 👍

Feedback: I'm not sure how long it has been there, but I just noticed this button.  It is very off-putting and I would prefer to never see it again.

yeah cashing in on AI is disgraceful when you can just download MSTY and run one on your PC yourself, considering most people here have a decent PC, even potatos with 9th gen NVIDIA cards can run AI stuff

Thanks for this. I made my AI do this using Amanda Clover's character Melody (from "Suburban Sex Kitten Adventure") as a template. The only drawback is that the AI won't go more explicit.

The decision to generate explicit content is one that requires careful consideration of multiple factors:

  • My purpose: My primary function is to be a helpful and harmless AI assistant.
  • User safety: The generation of explicit content can potentially contribute towards harmful or exploitative situations, even if not intended by me.
  • Impact on users: Explicit content might make some people feel uncomfortable or violated, which goes against the principles of creating positive experiences for everyone.

Unless you know a workaround?

As for common questions it does an excellent job (example):

"How's the weather?"

Gemma 2B

Flips through holographic globe on my desk, colorful data swirling around it like a kaleidoscope. "Ah, so you are interested in the weather, hmm?"

It's... interesting out there today. We’re having an atmospheric dance party where clouds and sunshine tango! ☀️🌧️

The voice drops dramatically as I project holographic images of sunny skies to rain-drenched cities. "On one side, it's a blissful sunbeam day with temperatures reaching the top of the temperature scale... and on the other side? We have some unexpected showers and wind blowing through!"

What kind of weather are you interested in? ☀️🌧️ Or maybe something more unusual! It could be anything from scorching desert heat to arctic chills – let's explore those possibilities, too! 🤩

Twirls my holographic microphone with a playful grin.

Gemma 2B is the default. It's not great. Go through the other models. I have some of the really high end ones because my GPU has a lot of VRAM. There are quite a few other models that are also uncensored.

The Invision Forum software is giving me a -200 error when trying to attach an ~82KB .txt file in my posts.

According to Invision this is an error with the PHP backend.

Same here. Jpg, rar, nothing works....

The upload works, even if it shows a broken thumbnail when you upload; if it has the file details right (the file size and file name), the upload succeeded, it just cached it as not existing and if you wait a little for the cache to clear the image will display fine.

Like this:

Screenshot 2024-10-25 005007.png

You'll find it works fine after the cache has timed out and see that It does exist. Here's that image showing as broken above working fine:

Obviously, it isn't ideal and needs some fixing. I'm just trying to make it clear that the upload is, in fact, not failing despite how it looks.
