Just finished the Correctional Quest line, but right now I'm being seriously harassed by Medium-Sized bombs dialogue. Really irritating we can't just say "Helene" like what Gristle established/mentioned earlier, and we gotta answer a completely random "Favorite food" question.

 

Overall loved the mod. Amazing work!

 

(NOTE: I Said harassed by Medium-Sized's dialogue because 99% of the time, I answer the question wrong, he says "Die you damn synth!" and it tries to reload the last save, which idk seems to be an issue with my Slaver's Valley. Will edit and inform y'all if it was the lack of Slaver's Valley patch, gonna install that real quick and boot it back up)

 

EDIT: Slavers' Valley patch stopped things from floating, but I can't seem to get past the CTDing and questions by Medium Sized. I've tried every option, something and avocado toast, fried chicken, tacos, and rice and soy sauce. All 4 lead to "Die you damn synth!" and it tries to reload last save and CTDs, if I manually reload the save just before the last it's fine. But no matter my answer, I just die, and clicking all the optional dialogue doesn't bring up any more dialogue options.

The question isn't random, in the scaver quest when you first met medium sized he asked you what race you are and then the food question's answer is what the sterotype food is for that race you picked

I am having a bit of an issue with the mod currently, I think some load order changes have probably broken things but I'm struggling a bit to fix this. So for context I was a big goose and didn't backup my load order and mods list when things were all working (lesson learned of course). So three main things I've noticed as issues so far are the following;
 

  1. When I go back into the whore house I have settlers as captives and their knees, naked and bound, and no slaves girls walking around.
  2. When I talk to Declan after going into the whore house to be let out he says ok go ahead but nothing happens.
  3. I am on the quest 'The Weapon' and when I got over to Jared and listen to him talk the animation for being punished by Big Bomb basically doesn't trigger.

Now I've made an attempt to get things working again and ordering my Load Order (attached) on the Left side of MO2. I've also been digging a bit in the Papyrus logs (although not very familiar with them) to figure out where the issues are coming from. I can confirm AAF is working when using other means to trigger scenes, and I have went through the AAF guide again to see if I had messed anything up, but it was working for the last week until my load order was stupidly messed up. With regards to things I've noticed from CS I've seen the following, which again not familiar with Papyrus but struck me as something I am trying to investigate.

hmm the 2nd spoiler errors are referring to FPE(R)/Wasteland Dairy/Wasteland Offspring. i know the INVB comes form one of those mods.

 

the first spoiler errors could occur if you changed CS location in your load order while playing (after installing CS).

 

took a look at your modlist and loadorder and you have both CS and Nuka Ride installed at the same time.  looks like you use MO2.

 

you need to have CS (and later NR) as low as possible in both modlist and loadorder.

personally i only have 4 things that load after CS (6 with NR) are

CS (and any patches)

Milking Human Kindness (as i want to play this mod but it can cause issues if i try to play it and CS at the same time)

NR (and any patches)

then

1 - AAF

2 - Animations

3 - Bodyslide Output (self made mod for Bodyslide's output when i run it)

4 - MCM Settings (self made mod for copying SKSE ini files from overwrite when they show up there)

at the very bottom of my modlist and loadorder

 

the way i play with both CS and NR in a single game is as follows

install (left pane of MO2) both CS and NR as described above, making sure to install source code.

    note i personally only have Slave and Model 100 Poses (Slave&ModelPinup.esp) above CS/NR for animation packs.

 

activate CS in left (modlist) and right (plugins) panes of MO2.

leave NR unactivated (unchecked) in both left and right panes of MO2.

play CS until completion (have earned my freedom)

activate MHK in left and right panes of MO2 (making sure it is in correct position below CS and above NR)

when ready to play NR go to Vault 111 and make a hard save inside the vault.

drop to desktop

activate NR in left and right panes of MO2 (making sure it is directly below CS and above AAF/animations)

enter game and set NR MCM

leave vault and then play NR.

 

this has worked for me in several games.

Weird, during the Scaver quest he never asked that, I might've missed something since the Scaver quest bugged for me (When I went outside to talk to medium sized, I had to use Console Commands to mark having talked to Medium Sized to even move. I'll try using console commands to set character race and then doing the questions.

 

I shall be disappearing and checking on the forum now and again... I gotta redo Commonwealth Slavers since it appears I missed a crucial part of the Scaver quest it locked me out of. Hopefully re-installing Commonwealth Slavers and installing source files will hopefully stop quests from breaking so I don't even have to use Console Commands. Here's to hoping. Loving it so far! Awesome work JB!

 

EDIT 2: Not even 30 minutes into a fresh playthrough, with Source Code installed, and the herding quest needed no intervention via console command. (Normally I would have Gristle bug out, after Murphy fucks your character in Concord Speakeasy, where talking to Gristle and Murphy just results in either "This is the beginning of your new life slave, get used to it." or "I don't have patience for this shit." 

 

This time, when Murphy was done, Gristle actually moved and the quest moved on without having to use console commands like before.

I got Snoopy as a Companion and Medium-sized is running the Whore House.

So if I leave CS up, what will be the result?

DC will be open?

What will be the state of Corvega?

Is Slaver's Valley still there?

Are the navmeshes or previsibines anywhere going to be screwed as a result?

I'm wondering if I should just try and save my character preset, start a new game, and use the console to get myself as close as possible.

 

For those people who finished, what are the big issues with keeping CS going?  I don't intend to do Nuka-Ride with this character.

i have played that same route and below are my observations (from a couple of times doing this)

1 - DC - i usually do the Deviously Cursed Wasteland - Belted quest so DC was already opened when i did CS and was still open afterwards,

      and other than that i have seen no differences to DC.

2 - Corvega - furniture is still there, some Sex Slaves there (not sure if they are from CS or another mod), Jared is gone, it does repopulate after

     enough time without entering it's cell.

3 - Slavers Valley - still there (and if you spare him) Murphy and a settler/wife will be there.  (see note below about Conquest)

4 - Gristle is gone - you are able to do the Concord Museum quest and start/play the Minutemen Questline.

5 - Snoopy - can be a companion if you did the right stuff as you played (must have beast stuff enabled and reached max beast training).

5 - Whore House - can talk to Medium Sized and work in Whore House, can collect some caps (once in a while) from Medium (sometimes i 

      have to work in Whore House first then get the caps right afterwards), can do Dr. Duffs quest again (without a time limit) for some caps,

      providing you did her quest as you played thru Cs to earn your freedom.

6 - talking with Dr. Duff in DC she acts like she never did anything with Whore House/Slaver Ring at all.

 

the only other changes i saw was if i looted any areas CS sent me to during missions the game behaved exactly the same as if i went there on my own

and looted those areas.  for example if you used Just Business to enslave say Tower Tom (Beantown Brewery) and stationed him somewhere

he is still enslaved and stationed where you sent him.

 

Conquest (make up to 10 active settlements almost anywhere including indoor locations) notes:

you can use Conquest to make a settlement almost anywhere (and yes with supply lines connecting them to your vanilla settlements).

you first make a campsite, then upgrade it to a settlement by making a workbench from within the campsite.  it also has mechanics to 

remove the settlements you made but will leave most of the changes you made to the area intact.

 

you can do this inside the Whore House and make a bunch of extra decorations/furniture then using Conquest mechanics remove the settlement

and the added decorations/furniture items will stay there. i usually do this (eventually) to add some extra paintings to the walls and some light

sources (candles and oil lamps) then remove the settlement to adjust the Whore House more to my personal taste.

 

you can also do this in Slavers Valley to make a functional settlement (with a supply line) and there is actually enough space to make up to 

4 Conquest settlements inside Slavers Valley.

Anyone know how to fix Ivana's face? She's the only NPC so far that has a brown face. None of the other NPCs I've come across had this issue.

 

Could it be my mods affecting Ivana? I've got X-Sensuous skin and face textures (4k body, 2k face) as well as LooksMenu Customization Compendium (And the LooksMenu Patch) (For the PIP-Pad).

 

But I feel like it's also causing some conflicts for HPF Redux, SFT, and may the Eyelash retexture I have? Anyone else have this issue?

 

NOTE: May end up resolving on my own, while double checking HiPoly Face Redux I noticed an optional file I missed the first time, which was 2k face compatability. as normally HiPoly Face Redux is 4kBody and 1k Face. It might've just been me being dumb :P

EDIT343: It was me being a dumbass... I have chosen to leave this here unless I am asked to remove it, that sometimes it's something someone may have missed. 

 

At the very least my PC, Nova, has a fixed face again. Can't confirm for Ivana, as I would need to run into her again.

Thank you, I found out that it's a dialogue in Raider Pet. So it's true using it together with CS will cause trouble.

CS has a Raider Pet patch to disable it while CS is running.

This is immensely helpful and I really appreciate you taking the time for the reply! I followed what you said and things are looking way better now! Although I was unable to get CS much lower on the right side, but it seems to be working again.

That got removed as far as i know as in 2.5.6 the installer no longer asks

 

Reason was it didn't really work as it made everything non-hostile where as the intention was that stuff would still be hostile so you'd have to rely on the raiders for protection

That it did! I just peeked at the unpacked copy I have.

But, I still use it. Mainly because I've added over 1k OP enemies to the game and not a single or herd of CS Raiders stands a chance at protecting anything. They do spend a lot of time sitting on the ground if I don't help their pansy asses out. 😜

I cannot get past the porn quest, I made the necessary changes to UAP and I don't crash but after about 3 or 4 scenes (after the scene on the table) I get an unending load scene .. each time I try.

Anyone else use the "Skip Commonwealth Slavers 1" cheat on their Commonwealth Slavers end up messing with Sex Attributes? I got the Orgasm Blocker Collar working, where I have to have permission to orgasm or they can deny it, but I was wondering if anyone else had the Sex Level stop working? Wear and Tear and everything else works, it just doesn't seem to update Sex Level.

Tell me about it, The Bomb is a lot more challenging when the Minutemen have Modern Firearms' at 100% damage! I also glitched once and had the Mutant in The Pit spawn with an MG3, that was brown trousers time I tell you 😅

Did you possibly get a dialogue box appear when it was changing scenes? Boston Breeder did that to me a lot until I just started dismissing the box without reading, though I believe that might be a problem if your controls are turned off as JB is wont to do from time to time.

Point 1, INVB may potentially be from any InvictusBlade mod I believe, I just discovered (with help from Spicydoritos) that Overlay Framework is pitching a fit in my current save and it had similar errors, but there was a few references to load order so I could pick out OF as the issue rather than FPE/R

 

Point 2, AAF and anims at the bottom of the list? I thought they were supposed to be above AAF-calling modules?

Based on the Revolution tattoos, I thought this might be cool for your survivor.

The whole Day of the Dead theme would go well with the Black Widow mod, especially if you’re going to go on the warpath and eliminate all the raiders and Nuka-World.

hmm according to The Fucking Manual https://www.loverslab.com/topic/139374-aaf-the-fucking-manual-~-adult-oriented-setup-guide-7thapril2024/

that is where they should be.

 

if you read it there is a section after steps 1- 28 that has 2 pictures, and in the second picture (with giant red arrows in it) it shows at the end of load

order AAF Mods, Then AAF & Reqs, Then AAF Animations, then AAF Patches.

 

it is always possible i have misunderstood that post.

That's a MO2 thing, in your Plugins.txt it's like so.

The only time you lose pip boy access is when your hands are cuffed behind you and in those situations its pretty much follow the raiders so either follow the raiders or post your mod list as it sounds like you have something else removing the pip boy on a quest where you should have access to it

I seem to have a slight bug, and wonder if anyone else has run into it. I've finished Commonwealth Slavers, but when going back to Diamond City, Piper is standing in front of the open door, not talking to the intercom, and Mayor McDonough is just standing inside, talking to either of them results in busy dialogue. 

 

Not sure what to do so would like some help if anyone has the spare time. (Currently doing some DLC stuff, as I want that out of the way at the moment. Like Automatron, then I'll be doing various other quests, before returning to story anyway.)

It's a vanilla game bug which is very easy to trigger if you get within close enough proximity of the city entrance to start Piper's initial quest but then leave and come back without engaging. A quick web search will net you about half a dozen workarounds (attacking her, vaulting over the scenery into the city interior, turning off clipping and entering, forcing the quest to advance through the console...).
