Guest Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 I've been getting lots of CTDs during rapes and stuff. Does this game have known conflicts with Submit, necro, or matchmaker?
Ashra XIII Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Ultimate Combat seems to cause more problems with mods like Prison Overhaul and Sanguine's Debauchery, which have scenarios involving the player getting tied to something and then whipped. UC's stagger mechanic causes the player to be knocked out of her bindings, breaking immersion. Exactly. But there is a workaround for this. Just deactivate ULTIMATE COMBAT via MCM when they bring you to jail and reactivate when you're released. (the same goes for SD, when you got enslaved). This is made easier by the fact both PO and SD put the player in very definite situations, with a clear begin and an end. Yeah that's exactly what I was doing and it worked wonderfully. I don't really have to worry about it currently though, since I've removed PO and Song's due to all the script lag I was getting.
MacDakka Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 There is not so much added to the mod but at least there is a lot less bugs and script optimization, I hope this bloat thing some were experiencing is gone. "Not so much added to the mod", he says, and then, he just goes and adds gangbangs for companions, new animations, fixes dragons and solves tons of problems. *Grumble* Kids these days ... At first, the transition to 4.2 seemed to work fine, but the first Draugr Wight I tested on Serana kept stuck in T-pose - resetting the animation registry did not do anything, cleaning did nothing, nothing I tried did anything. So with 4.2.1, I deliberately went for another clean-seave-approach, and made sure that any scripts had plenty of time to stop: After uninstalling, saving, quitting, deleting the ESP, BSA &c., I played the game without Defeat for about half an hour real-time, waited in-game for several hours, changed cells repeatedly, levelled up &c. I thought maybe I had been too impatient when updating to 4.2, and had not given the game enough time to actually process the removal of 4.1, so this time, I wanted to make sure not to rush it. And what can I say - it works perfectly now. Even the gangbang animations, which I never ever had been able to trigger (in 4.1, on my character, of course ), now work flawlessly. Oh, and my ever so bloated save file (10MB ) did indeed lose 20KB. Bottom line: A big thank you from my side, and an even bigger thumbs up for your work with the new version - it shows! And Defeat really adds a new and very intriguing dimension to Skyrim.
RockMic Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Thanks for the update works perfectly with the Falmer and spiders, but I have problems with daugr animations do not start T are posing a help would be appreciated thanks.
Mdy Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 I've also got the draugr T-pose. And as a big fat bonus, they're not standing up after the sex, but "swimming" on the floor without an animation. Creepy stuff. To be honest, I had the draugr T-pose in 4.1, too. Only the swimming is new.
qwarten Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 I got an error with creatures. After a multiple rape, only the last aggressor get up, the others don't have animations. I've also got the draugr T-pose. And as a big fat bonus, they're not standing up after the sex, but "swimming" on the floor without an animation. Creepy stuff. To be honest, I had the draugr T-pose in 4.1, too. Only the swimming is new. Tried only with wolves near the Whiterun Stormcloak Camp. Raped by two wolves. First attacker deflates after sex, no problem with second (see papyrus log attached). I had experienced this before again at the same place with three wolves and only last attacker was restored to normal. No problems after single animal rape (tried with the big cat). No problems so far with humans. Thanks for this very nice mod btw.
josenightbreed Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 Wow ... 4.2.1 is a great improvement, for the first time ever i saw a threesome being triggered with draugr Gangbang while there are 3 or more mobs either has not being triggered yet or it has not worked for me because sometimes i get knocked down by 3 or more mobs and they stand there around me for a long time (i've waited 3 minutes max) and it just stays like that until i go to mcm and hit the clean button, a few seconds after that they come back to life and start attacking and i'm able to defend my self. Looking forward for the hideout, i really like that feature. Also could i suggest that in the hideout we can enter the cells and have our way with the prisoners we keep? That would be a nice feature to have
4rchy12 Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 @fredfish: Yes, thats a lot better!!! No, really ... I have to find my glasses ...
matt225 Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 What I would like to see: For COmpanions, you can "target" them, and set them with a percentage or something on the likely hood of them raping a downed opponent or something. Ive been having troubles with my companions either going for the first guy that is downed, or attacking enemies that are knocked down that I want to rob/rape/tie etc. I'm pretty sure this is just how NPCs work. If you look in the 'player victim' settings, there are various scenarios such as 'Original' (when player goes down all companions go down) 'All down' (no rape until player + all companions are defeated) or 'No Transition' (immediate rape of player/companion when they go down while battle rages). I'm summarizing of course and might have these slightly off, but bear with me. For NPCs, there are only two settings: 'Original' and 'No Transition'. That is to say, no setting for waiting until all other NPCs are down before they start raping, because really there isn't a great way for NPCs to distinguish when all other NPCs are down. That is why your companion goes for the first person he/she downs... all NPCs do the exact same thing when battling another NPC faction. You might not notice this if you don't have mods on that add more faction battles, but I see it all the time due to Immersive Patrols. I think I got it to work. The knock down thing is a bit weird to me right now, but I got Borgahk to grapple a Forsworn. I will likely keep Companion aggresors off and just try to order them to initiate. Also, what exactly is/wa the hideout? I noted you can tie people up. Is this so you can kidnap them and take them to a hideout? There is a slavery mod on Nexus somewhere that kind of does this. thirdly...sorry for highjacking, can soemone recommend a more basic sex mod, for say...having sex wit hyour spouse or companions?

magicrealm Posted November 26, 2013 Posted November 26, 2013 the Spider Penetration Animation worked on the head of the character, not where it should be. character just opposite Position as supposed to be. but thats just a minor Thing. bigger problem are the followers stuck in knockdown mode every time. (original mode) when the character goes down, they go down too, but they stay this way forever. if they get raped, the abination works, but afterwards they are in knockdown Position again. if no one else has this bug, its probably an incompatibility with aft.

Try EFF, I used to have a lot of weird things happen with sex lab while using ATF. I moved to EFF after unistalling ATF and not using follower mods. I noticed that sexlab stuff worked in situations and places it refused before. After using EFF sexlab has been working well, as if no follower mod was being used. I hope it helps you out as it did for me

I thought there was an issue with wolves and dogs or something that never got resolved. Has this changed? I must go see!
xlightscreen Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 I'm having a problem with the hideout, I did a few random plays just capturing people and reloading my game to my normal play. However now that I want to capture someone and when I attempt to put them in the cell, it doesn't get rid of the body bag, and doesn't throw him in the cell. When I checked the chest his normal inventory items are there. I tried the following things. Also after this happens I can't interact with any scripted object. 1. Spawned trap door, had companion follow. Didn't work 2. Had companion not enter the hideout and it didn't work. 3. cleaned the mod, still didn't work. 4. before putting him in the cell I pulled the release all prisoners. Any idea how to fix this? Could it be its because the NPC is just a random and not named? Edit: Nvm turns out you can't have random npcs as prisoners. Has to be named ones. Lets just say mr. Swift from the first quest with the golden claw wasn't so fast when the hands of justice put him in a choke hold!
Cyndi Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 **snip** Wait... you got wolves working? How is this? I can never get them working! They always just stand there. I thought there was an issue with wolves and dogs or something that never got resolved. Has this changed? I must go see! That was fixed with Fnis 4.0.2 (That's 4.0.2 release not beta btw) and Creature pack 4.0.4 Kinda OT from Defeat itself (hence the spoiler tag), but relevant info if you have that problem: If you are still getting that issue, then you probably have dated mods for creatures that are fudging up your fnis on you, or you missed an update. Several Fnis updates came out within the span of a few days in October, so it was actually very easy, and overly common it seems to have missed the newest one. Remember: ~you don't need to install other animation packs for creatures atm. Creature animations are packaged with sexlab already. ~some of the other creature mods in the adult section were built with OLD versions of fnis, and from all the posts I see about it... almost daily... are a total pain in the ass to get working with sexlab 1.24, and newer fnis installs. There is a compatiblity/trouble shooting thread however (it's stickied in the adult section you really can't miss it) for those other mods. ~Some creatures are not tagged yet in the Sexlab 1.24, but are in the github development version, check the framework thread to have a look at that. (missing creatures from 1.24 that I know of atm: Some dlc versions of draugr, Frost Trolls, deathhounds huskies) ~Depending on which mods you have used and when/how you installed them, you may actually need to RE-INSTALL fnis, not just generate fnis. Some mods were packaged wonky with a few parts from the older versions. There is actually a trial version of Fnis 4.1 out already, to help stabilize Fnis related ctd on load crashes, but it interfere's with any animation built with their own 0_master.hkx file. Mainly things like a few of Xp32's animation overhauls, and momo acrobatic jump were/are affected. If you plan on trying the Fnis 4.1 trial, make sure you read up on it first.
TrombonePriest Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 So I may just be completely missing something here, but I have an issue installing it. The file I download is a .7z file and the Nexus Mod Manager can't use these kinds of files. I've tried extracting it but there are no .rar files inside, just folders and docs.
Cyndi Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Nexus mod manager handles .7z files fine, that's what I used to install the mod. Go to your mods tab (just under launch) then on the left just under that you should see a blue puzzle piece with a + sign on it. Hovering over that, it should say "add mod from file", click it, in the window that opens up, pick the defeat .7z file, then click open. That should add it to your list of things you can install.
Pinute Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 So I may just be completely missing something here, but I have an issue installing it. I've tried extracting it but there are no .rar files inside, just folders and docs. odd that nmm can't handle the file; it handles 7z's just fine normally. I'm not using nmm, using mod organizer but when i did it never puked on a 7z archive. You can just use windows to zip up all of those folders and docs and use that zip with nmm.
germanicus Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 TP -NMM can extract 7z files. There is something wrong with your NMM or 7Z extractor, or maybe there was an error in download. try to reinstall either one and try to download the file again.
Ashra XIII Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 FFFFFfffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuu I never even checked that there was new FNIS out! >.< Thank you so much for that info, now I must go be Defeat'ed by wolves! ...Y'know, to make it relevant.
Shadowman Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Hey Cyndi. You seem to have a pretty good handle on the Defeat Mod so I (reluctantly) need to bring up another issue with Defeat. Specifically with the creatures part of it. When ever a creature, lets use a wolf as an example, means the requirements to knock down my character and begin an animation, it will attack my character and they will stumble, fall, and unclothe. Just as they are suppose to. However, when the coupling begins, the animation doesn't play. My character remains in the staggered postion on the ground with the wolf clipping over it. The animation doesn't play but the voices still do. I have SexLab Set to allow Creatures. I Have All animations for said mod toggled to on. I Have Defeat creature animations on. I have the correct versions of SL, Defeat, and FNIS. I Originally thought I was getting a conflict with SexLab Defeat and BeastRape but I have tried turning both off alternatively and still nothing. Any ideas would be great cuz I'm out of steam.
saladboy21 Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 I am having a weird problem where Defeat is not working at all on a new game. I've tried several times with wolves and they just kill the character. Animals are turned on in sexlab and defeat, but nothing is happening. Possible interaction issue: I am using Sexlab 1.29 I am getting the menu, but nothing even with 100% chance.
nutluck Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 Perhaps I am doing something wrong, but when trying to install this with the suggest NMM I get a error saying 'sexlab.esm' is not active Did I miss a step on sexlab?
Goubo Posted November 27, 2013 Author Posted November 27, 2013 Wow, a lot of reactions I see, thanks this is very pleasant. I am having a weird problem where Defeat is not working at all on a new game. I've tried several times with wolves and they just kill the character. Animals are turned on in sexlab and defeat, but nothing is happening. Possible interaction issue: I am using Sexlab 1.29 I am getting the menu, but nothing even with 100% chance. Are you sure Allow Creature is toggled in SexLab? Hey, just want to say this mod is awesome. I like to set all the potential rape options to pretty low so it doesn't happen that often, but mainly for Roleplay reasons. Also past the rape part. I enjoy simply able to "capture" people, as I'm playing a vigilant of Stendarr(another life mod) I feel that I shouldn't always kill to carry out my orders wishes. Hence I enjoy tying up and capturing say that guy defending his vampire wife out of love rather then evil. The hide out is awesome as well. Its nice not having to go back to house when you can simply drop a trapdoor below your feet. The prison set up is great to for all my questionable prisoners that don't deserve a swift death. To help improve my RP experience, and possibly other peoples I have a few suggestions for the mod. rape suggestions: Rape chances based on affiliation. I.E Bandits will pretty much rape you on the spot, vs some mage who is above such barbaric things. Same goes for followers, mercs more likely vs housecarls unless ordered to. Hide out suggestions: Interrogation room, bring prisoners in to interrogate them. IF successful, they will reveal hidden stashes of loot, other locations of there faction(Random dungeon, typical kill them, ect), or even ransom tell you who to talk to for a ransom payment. Servitude, have prisoners with talents serve you. Capture a smith to force to work at your forge(maybe a bit of convincing), or a cook to keep your kitchen stocks fresh. A option to send followers to the hideout when dismissed instead of there original spawning areas. For you first suggestion, Morality check seems to handle that kind of stuff pretty good, I'm no going to add a lot of filters for every type of class in the game, first that would be a lot of work and two this will add to the script heaviness. As for the hideout suggestion they are good, actually I have in mind the let the possibility to recruit people for the Hideout, so why not adding the possibility to slave prisoners... followers keep in knockout mode on their knees. any idea how to repair this ? You can target him and press Action key and normally you should have Appease or Revive option, if not fus ro dah will do. What I would like to see: For COmpanions, you can "target" them, and set them with a percentage or something on the likely hood of them raping a downed opponent or something. Ive been having troubles with my companions either going for the first guy that is downed, or attacking enemies that are knocked down that I want to rob/rape/tie etc. Hm, there is already some option for Companions in NPC vs NPC but you want threshold for them too? You're greedy Yeah but it's not a bleedout what i'm referring to. In bleedout the PC is reduced to a slow crawling which makes her/him defenseless and totaly incapacitated. The "stumbling" effect I'm talking about just happens randomly. It can be very subtle. Sometimes is just a slight unbalancing which breaks you're sprinting... or maybe a more noticeable fumble which throws your PC on the ground (quite comically). RND uses it (together with some other visual effect like blur vision) when you get drunk. I think i really would suit a shocked PC, not just a drunk one. To be honest I've seen it implemented in RND only. It's a shame because is a very nice effect. Understood now. And I see what you mean. I like the idea, too. I have RND and the "drunk" effects are great. I've read that, I like the idea a lot. about the hideout you said your going to seperate it . are you going to make a slavery mod? I don't know yet how far I'll go with this mod, will see. There is not so much added to the mod but at least there is a lot less bugs and script optimization, I hope this bloat thing some were experiencing is gone. "Not so much added to the mod", he says, and then, he just goes and adds gangbangs for companions, new animations, fixes dragons and solves tons of problems. *Grumble* Kids these days ... Anyhow I'm glad it works great for you and that you're enjoying it, always pleasant to see some positive posts. I got an error with creatures. After a multiple rape, only the last aggressor get up, the others don't have animations. I've also got the draugr T-pose. Well, do you have all requirements? SexLab Framework?
saladboy21 Posted November 27, 2013 Posted November 27, 2013 I just tested, turning them on and off again in sexlab and defeat, it did not work. To ensure no IO error: I went in Defeat to Creatures and toggled it off and then on again. Multiple is also on, I assume that is no issue.
