I lose the ability to interact with objects, attack, and also the ability to open inventory after scenes caused by Defet. Has anyone else had something similar happen to them? How can I fix it?! (I'm using the latest version of AE)

Try going into the Defeat MCM and choosing the Clean Up option.

I have a question. In the description of the mod there is a sentence " You can choose two skills in MCM that will determine how hard the struggle bar will be to fill, depending on the level, the gender and the two highest skills of the aggressor". My question is - is something like this even implemented? I've been using this mod for god knows how long without any major issues but I've never noticed any other way to change how difficult the struggle bar is when resisting assault other than the (-20;20) difficulty slider, which at least in my skyrim is static - so the selected setting will be just as difficult to feel vs lvl 1 enemy as vs lvl 31? Am i missing something?

hi guys I'm having a problem trying to start a scene with creature both freeze when start scene or the creature just kill me without starting a scene at all. I tried to start scene when the creature is dead but it said "You can't do this". Is there any solution for it ?

Did you turn on Creature Animations in the Sexlab MCM?

Hey guys, does any have an issue with random Orcs appearing in cells after a defeat scene?  After I knock out an NPC and/or tie them up, if I rest in a cell, there's a chance Arob and Nagrub, will appear next to the defeated NPC looking at where the NPC is/was.  It's like defeat breaks their package data and they think they're supposed to be there.  Resting again will generally get them to leave.

You can increase how quicky the struggle bar when someone is trying to assault you fills, but is there a way to increase how quicky the bar when you kneel down fills?

Testing on a standard bandit, no followers, using the Bane version from here.

I get defeated, I get raped. Afterwards I sit on the floor gathering my breath, with no way to move. The enemy sees me (because he was just on top of me) and goes hostile after 10-ish seconds, attacks me until I bleedout, after which I can run again (but he is chasing me).

I assume this isn't working as intended? I have a vague memory of enemies going non-hostile for a certain period of time afterwards in some earlier version of Defeat, but I can't find the option in the MCM.

Maybe you should check your MCM Player Defeat settings?  ie Those covering

- player recovery

- bandit non re-engagement timeout period

It could be that you have these set at values which cross over into what might be an endless loop

Look at the Player as Victim and NPC vs NPC sections

There are settings there for NPC satisfaction - ie they should leave you alone in the time set, and the time sliders for player immobility, trauma etc

You do have those, don't you?

This is what the relevant section of the "Player as victim" tab looks like for me. Notably, the "satisfied" setting does appear to be working correctly, since (unless I've misunderstood the tooltip) it only governs whether the NPC is eligible to initiate a rape scene, not combat hostility as such. Unfortunately combat hostility suppression is what I need. :(

If I had to guess what's going on, the Calm spell that's usually applied on enemy NPCs for these scenes isn't being applied. They fall out of aggro as though I've sneaked away, but then they turn around, see me (still an enemy), and go aggressive again.

I don't think the NPC vs NPC settings are relevant here, but the satisfaction timer there for NPC vs NPC assaults is also as default (60 seconds).

You might also want to look at the settings for 'Weakened', 'Exhausted' and 'Slowdown' at the bottom of that MCM page

FWIW, I also have satisfied set at 240 secs, to try to avoid looping when more than one of the Bad Guys/Gals does their thing

Other than that, I'm out of ideas, I'm afraid

I had a peek at that when I took the screenshot too. 'Weakened', 'Exhausted' and 'Slowdown' just apply slows and stamina/magicka debuffs, none of them mention immobilizing the player.

Thanks so much for trying to help! Putting this on the backburner for now, since CodeSerpent's Peril also basically works.

Hi, I'm new and playing on SSE (AE 1.6.1170). Can someone share the link to download the updated version? I installed the file, but it says SexLabDefeat.esp (form 43), and my game won't start.

Using Player only. After sex, she just sits there and nothing happens. If I save and reload, I can get her to jump up and run away. Any ideas?

I get exactly same glitch; after runnig away most of controls are also broken.

With the latest version of SL Defeat no event is ever triggered the minute I have a follower, if these are added to NFF or not makes no difference. I believe that is what also happenes to the others here. The character just sits there until getting attacked after some time. Sometimes the resist-bar pops up as well. But no event happens.

Edit: It actually seems to be an old plugin for Defeat, that causes this, Devious Captures. The minute I add it to a test run Defeat hanged on the resolution step again. But as this version of Defeat has its own Devious Devices mechanic, it is not needed anyway.

Hello everyone.. I installed sexlab framework and defeat, followed the instruction and updated animations in FNIS. Everything worked fine, animation playing normally in matchmaker, but only for defeat animations, the character stands there forever. However, if I click esc -> system -> mod config(without changing anything) -> esc(just to close the window). Then the animation start playing instantly(I tested it by waiting around 5 mins and 10 second, both work instantly if I did this) . Any idea what is causing this issue? Thank you in advance for your time and help!

I have not experienced that problem with Defeat, but if you're not using Bane Master's version (linked two posts up), you might see if that helps.  Sometimes, I've seen a timing problem with mods that start animations after dialog.  Pressing the tilde key twice (to enter and exit the console command line) has gotten things moving again.  Not ideal, but it's a little faster than your workaround.
