Using SL Defeat Bane version

 

Was trying to initiate necrophilia with a spriggan but it resulted in

 

"error fatal failed to add actor they are not valid target for animation error code -13"

 

There was a normal npc nearby and that also gave me the same error. Any reason to why this is happening? I have sexlab frameworkAE v166b & SexLab framework PPLUS v2.12.0 which are both for Skyrim AE 1.6.1170. as well as the creature framework and more nasty critters. All seem to be working well other than this.

 

Edit: Alright, even when the spriggan was knocked down, I was not able to perform anything. Straight up, only MatchMaker made me able to do anything.

 

"thread [0] fatal failed start thread -- cannot sort actors to active scene"

 

I yearn for the sprussy but it appears to be one sided.

Make sure you have actual Spriggan animations installed and registered in order for them to be considered valid, had a similar issue with Draugr before I got the correct animations

I have an Issue, I have Defeat and everything installed, was working perfectly all week, but I became a Vampire Lord and now Defeat wont work. The menu pops up but the minute I click on "Dead Options" or "Knocked Down" the menu just disappears. I also have Better vampires installed if thats the issue?

I had the animations and everything working at the time, but the problem was SexLab framework PPLUS v2.12.0. Once I got rid of it, and used actual SexLab, everything that had to do with Sexlab Defeat (Bane) started working.

I've never been able to get Sexlab P+ to behave nicely, but I'm hopeful they'll work the kinks out.

Today I found out about the Bane version. I presume it's not safe to swap Baka with Bane's version on existing save? Or have them both but disable Baka completely in MCM.

I think it would be safe to completely disable Baka's in the MCM, like you mentioned, save, then install and enable Bane's.

I tried and it seems to work, only issue I have that if my health becomes 0 it kills me even tho I set the player to be essential in MCM.

 

Edit: I learned that that killing the player is intended when it can’t proceed. This sucks before let's say the chosen outcome was DD, it put restraint on my character, but soon enemies became hostiles again, and instead of defeating me again my character died. That's kinda annoying.

out of curiosity does banes version work with nemesis?

You presume correctly - I would strongly recommend a new game to avoid problems going forward

odd i cant get the follower take down to work they crouch walk to the target then nothing

Though I don't know what to do about the other problems, I have an imperfect workaround for this one. Every time you load a save, open the console and type TIM. It stands for Toggle Immortal Mode. Your health, Stamina, and Magicka will continue to go up and down as usual, but if your health fall to zero, you won't die, and Defeat will trigger.

Regarding the current Bane version, does anyone else have an issue with the Robbed quest not displaying or not showing as active in console? Definitely had an assailant take my stuff and septims, but there's no quest to track apparently.

Hello, i need help. I cannot choose tags in the animation settings of defeat. I can only remove default tags. If i try to click it seems like it freezes and only after a long time a window pops up but i cannot choose any tags because the window is empty. I'm on anniversary edition, using sexlab framework PPLUS and defeat P+ patch, and i use Pandora. Animations are registered correctly in sexlab and defeat works correctly. The only problem is that one. What am i doing wrong?

Follower won't stay in bleedout?  This might be why.

 

I recently noticed that my follower simply would not stay in bleedout state, even though I'd set the bleedout timer in Defeat (and in NFF) to 60 seconds.  After much investigation (I mourn the lost hours), I noticed that the follower had the Inspire effect.  It's a perk from the Vokrii mod ("Nearby living allies are healed x points per second.")  Since it's a passive ability, I'd forgotten that I'd recently taken it.  It has a decent range, so it was healing the follower out of bleedout one second after going down.  When I intentionally stayed far away, the follower remained in bleedout.

 

Of course, it doesn't have to be this exact ability.  Any healing aura will mess up the bleedout state for followers.  (I had to remove that perk.  It's way too powerful.  Nearby followers effectively become invincible as long as the PC doesn't go down.)

 

So, don't blame Defeat.  It's probably something you acquired that's helping your follower.
