So here's what's happening in my game:

My character is defeated, and Death Alternative kicks in, handing over to Defeat since it's the only 'bleed out' option. Rape happens, it all works fine, and then when it's over, my character is sitting down looking all distraught (as she should). I'm given the struggle bar, and when I hit the keys it all works great! My character gets up and is prompted to run. She gets far enough away and Defeat lets go, giving me free reign to do as I please.

All this sounds perfect, right? Well, almost. The issue is that once Defeat is done, it *is* letting go and not allowing Death Alternative to do it's thing... so no robbery events, SD+ never kicks in, that sorta thing. As I mentioned above, Defeat is the only possible 'bleed out' event currently, I assume because it set itself that way. Do I need to add some probability to the default event for DA to work properly? I will if that's what's necessary, but I was really hoping Defeat would hand things back to DA on its own, so rape could happen and then whatever else.

Or maybe it's just my game and it's working fine for others? I'd like to know.

With DA once a NPC has raped your char he will not attempt to do it again for 5 minutes so if he defeats you again DA will do other events, SD+ for example I suppose. So far all of this is normal, remember that is WIP, I would like to make it so DA's events kicks in right after a Defeat scene with all my quests registered to it.

And before someone asks, no DA will not be mandatory, I have my own system to trigger post-assault quests.

I completely understand it's WIP, and I appreciate the work you're putting into this great mod, which has easily become one of my favorites!

Given what you said above, I guess I then need to report that the 5-minute grace period isn't working for me then. I tested this on a Draugr, where I'd run away after rape, but then return immediately when Defeat let me draw a weapon again; the Draugr raped me every time. Then again, this still might have something to do with the DA version, or that Defeat was the only possible 'bleed out' scenario since the other one was set to zero. I will test!

I seem to have gotten Defeat, DA, and SD+ to work together but there are still some bugs. Defeat triggers almost all the time on bleedout (sometimes it does not for some reason? (might be fixed see edit2:) I have female aggressors allowed) and setting the knock down immunity to long (perhaps not needed as Goubo said) you will have the chance to escape (w/ or w/o trauma enabled). After this you will need to knocked down again and the enemy will attack you until blackout. You should set SD+ to high probability under DA's blackout menu.

(might be fixed see the edit: below)

I tested in the area just north outside Whiterun with the male and female bandit living near. Defeat triggers and I have threesome chance set to 100% and get the threesome animation, once that is complete I stand up and wait for them to attack me (for testing) to trigger SD+ and instead of staying down/blackout Defeat triggers again and I get another threesome animation this time with the other bandit stripping me, perhaps they didn't get a 'turn' the first time even though it was a threesome? Anyway if that happens waiting to be attacked again they will keep attacking until I blackout and SD+ triggers.

edit: To the above scenario it looks like the woman is an archer and is out side Defeats range when I am downed so that seems to be why I was getting Defeat to trigger twice (afaik) before being able to blackout. Staying close the the archer and getting downed I got 2 turns taken, 1 for each bandit.

edit2: I'm new to using DA, setting Defeat to 99% in DA's bleedout seems to make Defeat trigger more often. Still need to test more when I have the time.

Did play a bit with it so I have a few 'limited' things to report so far.

The resist bar countdown does not work for me. So the player will stay down for ever, or you will have to fill up the resist bar. Tested it with normal, not the clothes option.

It does not seem that All of the aggressor will rape. some the seem to not rape at all and some other seem to rape the follower, and then not the player. does the follower count as a 'term'?

The cusmtom unequip slots reset every time you enter the menu. Haven't had the oportunity to check if they work yet.

The clean option does not seem to work from the popup window ('0')

I've loaded this up, but I haven't had anyone rape me. Let me tell you what I did to make sure I didn't so something funky when uninstalling the old version and installing this one.

First, I loaded up my game and uninstalled Defeat 2.0 from within MCM. I made a clean save then deleted the old .esp and scripts. I double checked and made sure that I deleted every script I found with "SexLabDefeat" in the name. I then dropped the new files into my data folder. I ran FNIS. I also ran BOSS.

I then started up Skyrim and opened the MCM to configure. The first thing that I noticed is that I now have 2 entries in MCM for SexLab Defeat. One is completely empty. The other has all the configurables that it should have. I'm not sure if this is because I missed an associated file when I was deleting or not. I searched my hard drive for "SexLabDefeat" and it only turned up the files from version 3.0.

I went out into the world to find bandits to fight. Instead of raping me, I was just getting killed. So, I figured maybe my health was set too low. I went in and set it to 80%. Surely, these guys couldn't kill me too quickly with my health set that high! But, they still killed me. No one attempted to rape me, at all. So, it wasn't a matter of one trying to rape me while the others beat on me.

I'm not sure if I've set up something wrong or if this is a bug.

Edit: I forgot to mention that I did install the new Get Up Faster mod that is now required.

I've had this issue with every version of Defeat I've used.  It's mildly frustrating but never struck me as a bug.  Before level 3 to 5 (somewhere in there) either my character or the bandit just seem to kill each other too quick and it's too hard to get a knockdown vs kill.   MAYBE it's just the knockdown calculation formula needs to be tweaked a bit for those first few levels?  *shrug*  After all, it SHOULD be easier to rape a character with no combat experience than a highly skilled one.

All that said...  Will the newest version with the surrender option conflict or overlap with Sexlab Submit?

And my last request / suggestion (beyond the one I asked in a different thread),,,  How about some sort of control for using Cowgirl vs Strap-On animations?  Sexlab Misc Features and Sexlab's controls have never worked there for me and all I end up with are pegging animations all the time.

The menu issue sounds like scripts from a previous version of Defeat was left running and not removed before the mod was updated. Does it do the same thing on a new character?

As for the being killed, what I have always found that works best with Defeat is this. Set the health level fairly high and as you level up lower it. Mostly because at low level you can be two or three hit and killed. Especially if you are fighting more than one enemy it is very easy to be killed before defeat has a chance to trigger. Then as I level up I lower the health level manually. By level 10 you are good to go.

No this and submit should work perfectly fine on the surrender as long as they use different hotkeys. If you have Defeat set to use G for example and submit to use H then you can surrender using either one.

As for the strapon, there is not a option in the newer versions of Defeat for choice of strapon or not.

I don't have Death Alternative installed (unless you're talking about a Submit option?  I haven't memorized all the mods here, lol), so it MAY be a conflict between that and Defeat.

Barring that....  What I HAVE noticed in my own game, is that sometimes the robbery option takes about 5 or so seconds to initialize.  If you're running an insane number of mods like I am, it may just be taking your machine time to sort thru all the scripts and let the robbery one kick in.  Try sitting there and looking vulnerable for a little bit before you get up and see if that allows the robbery and faction events to kick in.

Same here on the robbery and my current version doesn't have a lot of mods. I am between play thru's at the moment and it takes 2-3 seconds for the robbery to take place. I think it is triggering then going over your list of stuff. It likely depends on exactly how much stuff you have and if you are using value option. Since it would have to check the value of ALL of the gear then.

For those of you using and testing DA, after you are done could you post up all the settings and the effects it has for people? I have not tested it yet but plan to in the near future. But it would be nice going in knowing what all the options do and how best to set it up, so they work together well.

Very cool looking forward to seeing how you tie this into DA and also what you do for your own post events. Keep up the great work.

well probably not the first time someone said that but it would be awesome to being able to assault npc's even if they're in an animiation(sitting, cooking etc.)like in SL submit

and the surrender thingy would be much more useful if you could use this while being downed with DA like in SL submit aswell

I think if you add that your mod will become an monopole if you also add normal sex dialogues :D

Awesome work by the way i really appreciate that you are investing your time in this project long life to you man :)

I did some more testing this morning with Defeat and DA, and generally still had the same issues as before. The 5 minute cool down isn't working, and of course Defeat doesn't release back to Da once it finished.

One other issue to report: When I set Defeat and Necromantic Absorption to equal priorities in DA, sometimes Defeat wouldn't trigger, but enemies also would stop attacking until the bleed out ended and my char got back up on her own. When I disabled Defeat as a possible bleed out option, things worked just fine in DA.

@nutluck

I just started using DA recently with SD+ so here's what I've been doing with settings (carried over to Defeat compatibility):

-1st, read the DA readme, it tells you what everything actually does (events and so forth) (Also, the PDF Manual for SD+ explains some of the DA settings well and is a good reference - see SD+ download page for that)

-2nd turn off everything not directly related to the mods I'm trying to figure out how to use (SD+ and Defeat)

-most of my general settings are left at default with these exceptions:

-raise the damage multilplier for in-bleedout hits - this pushes you through bleedout bar faster and moves on to events

-raising the bleedout timer above 10sec (default) will allow aggressors more time to push you through to events before you "recover"

-adjust the One-Hit Kill (default is, I think, 200) - this makes one-hit kills harder (higher setting means hit has to do HPx(#) to actually kill, or set to 0 to turn it off.

As I have been playing around with the mods (testing is too grand a term for what I do) I will play around with one setting at a time - adding in theft for example, (though it is possible that DA and Defeat have conflicting steal-your-stuff things going on, not sure, have both turned off atm), or more events. I may soon try with a follower.

I am sure that there are better ways of figuring this out, and maybe someone has already found some ideal settings they will be willing to share. But for me, and my slow little brain, going simple and starting slowly has been working; because I have ended up adding a bunch of new (to me) mods in a short span of time this methods helps me to figure out what is likely going on when problems do arise. And it helps keep me from becoming needlessly cranky about things while I figure them out.

Hope this helps..... a little bit anyway.

Very cool and thanks for the information. I will try and set aside some time this week to test DA with Defeat myself. Now I have a good starting point to test from, thanks.

I'm not using DA btw.

I posted some logs a few pages back now as Robbery wasn't happening as nothing was being taken from the pc. I rolled back to beta 1 and it works perfectly there so not sure if I've missed something

I get this issue when ever i play as a man I cannot rape for some reason?

I just strip them of their clothes then nothing. Either they run away or keep fighting.

And whenever i use necrophilia they just keel over and die?

I have Defeat set Immunity: Long (not sure on exact wording of the option), I haven't tested a lot but I don't recall having this problem. If the NPC had their turn they would only then attack me and it would enter bleedout then blackout not trigger another SL animation.

I had this issue with DA as well, I'm not sure what Necromantic Absorbtion does exactly but setting Defeat to highest probability (99%) seems to fix it.

Guobo - Flawless edition of the great mod. Playing more then 12 hours and so far, have no a single glitch.

I have one proposition to make if it can be done: is it possible to add a necrophilia to the follower too, something like possibility in MCM menu?? I like all you did for followers so far -they can rape and be raped, only kind of missing this one.

from the DA readme

1) Necromantic absorption: On entering bleedout, you get a chance to use either the Avoid Death perk, a black soul gem or a dragon soul to instantly regenerate some or all of your health, and get back in the fight.

I have this turned off atm for Defeat use/testing

Defeat works really well! It has a great list of options and works great in game! I really like how it gives you the chace to run away and recover during those tough fights aswell! Nice job!

i suppose i should say that once i get knocked over it's the npcs (bandits in this case) that aren't doing anything.  they either stand there and stare, or go back to what they were doing before i got knocked over.  they return to being aggressive when i get back up.

Seems great, only problem is that though testing lots of options i didn't manage to get player surrendering to work in combination with also using SD+.  V5B1 worked fine together with SD+ and DAYMOL but now the enemies don't get me down, i always get revived via DAYMOL instead. If i disable Defeat as bleedout option then it triggers SD+ enslavement, working properly.

Manual surrendering worked perfectly, i had the dialogue then. But this didn't seem to trigger devious captures.

So if anybody managed to get SD+ and Defeat V5b2.1 player combat surrendering to work together please tell me how. Thanks in advance.

And big thanks Goubo, i like the direction you are going with Defeat a lot. Looking forward when the faction specific events get in, those look extremely promising.

Thank you, hm I need to test SD+ along with DA and Defeat then, thx for letting me know.

Update, SD+ has nothing to do with it. Sorry for the red herring. It works now after i did what one of the fellow loverslab members suggested later in a reply. I turned the priority for Defeat lower than the default bleedout event of DA.

Having a new problem though, despite having turned robbery chance up to 100% for a try a bandit did not rob me. I just got defeated, got raped and then got up by pressing the strafe keys. Then i could just run away with all of my inventory still in my possession. And devious captures also didn't trigger. With 5.1 the robbery and devious captures worked.

If it isn't too much of extra work i would vote for full DAYMOYL integration like SD+, it would be amazing imho if us players can eventually configure DAYMOYL, Defeat and SD+ that it is fully random what happens when you get defeated. Sometimes your Defeat scenarios kick in, sometimes you get enslaved and sometimes you are "lucky" and only get the classic DAYMOYL scenarios. Would be great variety.
