Hey I installed sex lab defeat but the animations do not work. I hit the options on the NPC to Untie and do them and my character unties them and then I hear the sounds but there is no animations and the characters just stand there. Anybody know how to fix this because it is just the animations it seems and I have attempted to uninstall, save and re-install but that did not work 

 

Do the animations work with other mods?

Hmm...tried 5.1B, worked just fine.  Uninstalled 5.1b, unchecked devious captures (just to make sure), reinstalled 5.21b...now it doesnt show up in MCM.  Hmm.

 

Did a setstage ConfigMangerInstance 1, nothing.  Quicksave, quickload, still not there.  Papyrus log attached.  I have something like 200+ mods running so...yeah that probably doesn't help.  This is on a new game.

 

Oddly enough, everything works just dandy with 5.1b.

 

Edit - now a rar file.

 

Edit 2 - My impatience got the best of me.  MCM showed up...now waiting a long time to see if it enables.

 

Edit 3 - Hmm, nope.  Still nothing.  Waited 2 in game hours, left and got a cup of coffee, still reads disabled.  Damn.

 

Try telling sexlab to clean. Defeat is tied to it so occasionally that can help.

Just wanted to say the new update works fine here.

 

Just did a fresh install (was doing it any ways after doing a bunch of CK stuff), and found this had been updated so installed it on a fresh game and no problems. MCM showed up, installed it via MCM, exited out, popup said Defeat is installed, and the MCM is there and all is good to go.

Tried that.  Then did another setstage.  No change, the "Defeat:Installed" never shows up.

 

Tried looking at the defeatconfig script from old and new version but as A) my script experience is fairly low and B ) Not really sure what I'm looking for in there the search proved fruitless.

You have many of the same Defeat errors as Vaun has in his Papyrus log so something is going on.

I did a full clean reinstall, as Goubo suggested. I do use DA, and I've tried all the various clean buttons in MCM.

 

Here's the strangness I'm seeing:

 

Knockdown rape doesn't work at all, or at least I can't get it to. I've tried with it set to health only, <80%, attackers of both genders, and all three options from 'All Down', 'Original' and 'No Transition'.

 

I could only get surrender to work properly by turning Defeat off in the DA menu. That was only way I could get to any sex scene/animations with Defeat. It took a couple tries, but at least this did work eventually (and it's a cool setup, Goubo!).

 

I tried various options, like setting the low end thresholds of both DA and Defeat at 0%, DA at <5% and Defeat at >7% to <80%.

 

Another note on the DA end: with the Defeat box active in DA, I was all but invincible. It'd knock me down, but only about half the time, but always seemed heal my PC and stand her back up (or sometimes just heal her without knocking her down)! I stood in the middle of Fort Greenwall (and I use Populated Forts) and it took ages for the bandits to actually drop her and get a DA event to trigger. This behaviour did stop when I deactivated Defeat in the DA menu.

Got it to work(Defeat:installed showed up) when i deleted an old ZaZ Animation Pack dating back in December(newest one is April?). I haven't installed the new ZaZ animation yet. For me its probably the sexlab animation from the old ZaZ Animation Pack that caused the problem.

What happens when you try to make a brand new character?

 

 

New character:

 

After I let all the notifications stop scrolling, I go through MCM and configure stuff to my liking.  I get to Defeat, it shows disabled as it should (new game).

 

I click enable, it tells me to exit the menu, I do so.

 

I never get the defeat:installed or whatever it tells you.  I've waited two in game hours, let it sit idle while I go get a drink, nothing.

 

Did the setstage to refresh MCM options.  Same thing.

 

Thought it was new mods I downloaded at the same time i updated Defeat.  Deactivated them, new game...same thing.  No dice.

 

If i switch out for 5.1b, it works every time, all the time.  *shrugs*

 

Edit - just saw the above post.  Using lastest ZaZ, will redownload latest ZaZ and try again.

 

Edit 2 - Defeat MCM appears at will it seems.  Some new game it shows up, some it does not.  Well, at least I saved the 5.1b file.

Some MCM display menu problems again? Why is that problem coming back to haunt me t_t

 

Important thing to know about DA support I did not tell: DA bleedout threshold takes over completely the OnHit event of Defeat, so Defeat HP max, HP min and stamina threshold basically do nothing when DA is detected.

And when the player is raped by a NPC, this npc will have a satisfied buff that will prevent him to trigger a Defeat scene again for 5 minutes (same thing used for the Immunity option) so DA can trigger his other defeated events.

Don't forget it's gonna be improved.

 

Also, I would like some feedback about the Stay down option, when it is disabled, the player can flee between turns and if the next aggressor don't catch you after 10 seconds you succeeded to get away, I made that aggressor run to you and the player is slowed down and staggers, I don't even know if it's possible to flee in those conditions.

 

Seems great, only problem is that though testing lots of options i didn't manage to get player surrendering to work in combination with also using SD+.  V5B1 worked fine together with SD+ and DAYMOL but now the enemies don't get me down, i always get revived via DAYMOL instead. If i disable Defeat as bleedout option then it triggers SD+ enslavement, working properly.

 

Manual surrendering worked perfectly, i had the dialogue then. But this didn't seem to trigger devious captures.

 

So if anybody managed to get SD+ and Defeat V5b2.1 player combat surrendering to work together please tell me how. Thanks in advance.

 

And big thanks Goubo, i like the direction you are going with Defeat a lot. Looking forward when the faction specific events get in, those look extremely promising.

It seems to have been a load order issue, after running Boss I can load save games.

 

After getting knocked down my character seems to float up into the air for a few seconds then the SL animations start. I'm also having a bit of trouble getting knocked down like a few others; female character using threshold 30% hp 10% minimum. Sometimes DAYMOYL kicks in (it's set to 0%; extra hp bar and it says you still have some life left in you) but then the SL animation starts and of course the Defeat message then shows saying you have been knocked down or w/e.

DA will always kick in before and like I said DA takes over the HP threshold. It is normal to see the "life left in you" message from DA, sometimes the widget bar from both more can be on top of each other if you have a follower with All down scenario, normal behavior here again. I recommend to disable the help of the follower in DA for the knock out to work properly after a Defeat scene.

I'm aware there is a problem with the player running in the floor or else before the SL animaton, I will fix this problem.

So Defeat won't kick in until you've gone through the DA bleedout/blackout sequence?

Ya, this newest one doesn't work for me, it even says Defeat: Installed on top left, however when I go and try to test it out, I always end up dieing never get downed or anything. I even made to to enable player victim options and everything. Any suggestions? And can some1 put the last file before this? I was using 4.2 before this file.

 

Okay so everything works BUT me being knockdown when hp gets below threshold I placed.

Edit: I am crossposting this to both topics Defeat and SD just because I wondering if it's a similar error.

 

Neither Defeat, nor Sanguine Debauchery are triggering for me. Literally enemies will bash me through bleedout to death and I cannot get either to trigger.

 

I will put myself in the middle of a group of bandits and let them hit me, and eventually I just die, with no animations triggering.

 

Simple things I've already tried out of the way first:

 

These are fresh saves. On Friday I decided to reinstall skyrim, and try out a bunch of new mods. These are completely new saves from the very beginning using Live Another Life. Since I am testing to make sure my mods are in order I am not using LADL.

 

I have tried adjusting the various sliders in both Defeat and Sanguine Debauchery and nothing seems to help. I have turned off ragdolls in DAYMOYL like SD says to do.

 

Animations tested through submit work fine.

 

All have been tested by choosing the I am camping in the woods start, which starts you near Helgen, and then running to a nearby bandit camp.

 

I have included papyrus logs of both in case it is a similar error.

 

Papyrus.0Def.log is the one from Defeat.

 

Papyrus.0sd.log is the one from Sanguine Debauchery

I just upgraded to version 5b2.1 and i still cant install Defeat. I even started a new game to be sure but in the MCM menu it still says version 5b2. I still have 5b1.1, so ill just reinstall that for the time being. Keep up the good work. 

Edit: Found out the source of my problems. My DA wasnt up to date. Now i feel like an idiot

Robbing at end of scene isn't working. I've checked it with steal gold (papyrus log 1) and value (papyrus log 0) and nothing is taken so the robbed quest never startsPapyrus.0.zipPapyrus.1.zip

 

EDIT: Tested with "steal" on body and still no robbed quest. Tried adding Devious Capture which needs Robbed and a Wilderness/Inn event and that works, so the event is getting registered somewhere but not triggering for the player as nothing is taken

Defeat is supposed to start instead of the DA bleedout sequence.

 

So far defeat works great. Got MC menu without any problems and i get assaulted when i reach bleedout state.

But i was wondering if there is any way to use the threshold system in defeat when you use DA?

Prefer to use threshold system for defeat and bleedout state for SD+.

e: oh no, that alltime happen now with the new version..

for my companion it do not work when i do it over dialog (say that she rape a male npc), then she also get fucked..

 

hm, i add a papyrus

this log describe my female char rape a falkreath guard and get fucked from him

and also that the guard do not put his clothes back again on after rape

well i've got an issue where defeat just says that i failed to grapple the enemy no matter from where i do it and it just happens when i attack one of the three npc's on the throat of the world (the hunter that is reading the dragonborn stories, the girl that is sitting in front of one of that story monuments and one wanderer after the troll but he's from another mod)

the greybeards however are ok(not with the submit issue).

by the way at the same time when this problem occurs i get an problem with submit one i already had earlier on an completely other save and insall, hell it was on an differen pc :D

the thing is that only when you grapple an enemy mid combat!!! the submit dialogues aren't working but if i attack them with the sneak grapple everything's alright.

I suggest that it ist an papyrus issue since it just happens after some hours of playing on the same character.

The worst thing that kills me is player as victim, the knock down rape doesn't work for V5b2.1 at all. However, V5b1.1 did work if I set knock down value to 50% for HP only. 

 

Knockdown rape for V5b1.1 still not work if I keep the default value.

Are you using DA?

Did you clean your save like the link below?

Because 5b2.1 works fine with and without DA(at least for me it does). If you using DA it doesnt kick in untill you enter bleedout state.

Would be nice if threshold system worked with DA tho :D

Really nice to add a submit option, it was really needed to make this mod more complete : )

If you update the MCM menu, please add the new entries at the bottom of the .txt file, like sexlab. It's much easier for the translators.

Can't use the mod. The game won't install the MCM menu for me too. I deinstalled SD+ and ZaZ, I even started a new game. Still the same problem that the MCM menu won't install. It only says deinstalled and when klicking install, nothing happens. Please help -.-
