Finally remembered to get back to this.  First, thanks for the heads up Ashra.  I'll have to give Death Alternative a look

Goubu, what I was talking about in terms of a control was what I thought Sexlab Misc Features had.  It never worked with me for any version of Sexlab since 1.39 though.  That being a slider that controlled what percentage of female initiated rapes would be cowgirl animations and how much would be pegging.  Ideally maybe it'd even carry over to female on female rapes, or a second slider for that?

I'm fairly new to modding so I have NO idea how involved the scripting would have to get for that.  Just something I'm sure some of us would like to see.

EDIT: All that said, defeat is my favorite SL mod.  Keep up the great work. :)

If there's any lingering issue, in one test there was a summoned ally (Avenging Spirit from the Apocalypse Spells mod) when the scene started, but it was gone part way through. My PC was left on the ground (stay down option in Defeat) and was stuck like that, waiting for a mob that no longer existed to take it's turn. Only time it happened, so I think there's probably a connection there.

Yeah All Down check if aggressors are not still in combat, I can't really check if an aggressor's shitty AI decide to attack an evil bunny before raping you serenely you know. ^^

It's for this kind of situation that the struggle bar appears in previous version but it seemed to confuse people so it will only appears when at least one of your follower is still in combat, but if it works properly the player will automatically get up after 15 seconds if the aggressor his not here.

About your issue, did the summoned npc has reached you before he disappears? Don't your char got up after 15sec?

I have to confess I'm not sure. I did wait a while, quite probably more than 15 seconds, but I'm not certain.

One thing, it was the curled up pose that you normally get between turns when you have 'Stay Down' checked, and not the sitting animation that comes at the end of the entire scene if you're using the 'Trauma' setting.

I keep having ctd when i use the G "action key" on a enemy that is in the bleed-out / known state. i have all of the necessary stuff installed so i don't know what the problem is, and most of the rest of the mod works. Great work on the mod by the way. i was just wondering if someone could figure out what my problem is or if they have had the same one. doing the Shift + action key also crashes the game.

if it helps i am trying it with more than one enemy present, the others are not attacking me, but the music tells me they are aggro.

*edit* it is working now, i have no idea what the problem is. guess it was just that specific bandit.

Ok after testing for a bit more I ran across the first bug I have found in the newest version.

In this case what happened is my character and one NPC was out on a ledge fighting and another NPC was below us a bit and to the side on a walkway connecting parts of the dungeon. The one on the walkway could see me and agroed but before he was able to run across the walk way, thru a tunnel, then up into the next room and finally out on the ledge where we was fighting, the first enemy triggered Defeat.

So once defeat triggered the first enemy took a turn but then my character stayed in the waiting for the next enemy position laying on her side until I told defeat to clean. I had it set to not allow resist between turns. For what ever reason it seems Defeat tagged the other enemy that could see me but was not in melee range, yet didn't have him walk the rest of the way to come up to where I was. Instead he walked back down to where he was on the walkway, while my character stayed on her side.

This is a bug I could see not coming up very often but often enough to be a issue. I suggest adding a timer, so that if the next enemy NPC doesn't activate another animation in 10 seconds. Then you character switches positions to the sitting post rape position where you can then make your escape. I think this would fix that issue on the rare times it comes up.

LOL nutluck, I came across my first bug too. I was on the road with my female follower. Two bandits attacked us. I manage to rape female bandit while my follower raped male bandit. After we both done raping, female bandit that I raped attacked my follower and she didn't defend her self at all. She could killed the bandit she raped, but she couldn't kill the bandit I raped even after cooling time of 30 seconds.

I've found what I think may be an issue or something I have completely missed. I've gone through a few threads to see if I can find something similar but not luck thus far.

In my give example, I am in Bleak Falls Barrow. When I encounter and start a battle with the Draugr, I get kocked over, the resisting starts, I get raped. Once this is over I have enough health and sometimes I get hit a second time and raped. But what happens is either a) after I am hit after the first raped, I am knoecked over and I am on one knee, breathing heavily or B) I am raped the second time then I get up and stand still; I cannot move or see any bars on the screen. All I can hear is the characters pulse so I thought (as I am still new and haven't seen it) is that I'm bleeding out. But there is no bars unless I use an options to go to free standing camera and they show as no HP and no stamina. And no matter how long I wait I don't return to be able to move.

Since my HP and Stanima bars are zero so I persume I am dead and the game has got stuck so I reload. But this happens everytime. I never just die anymore. I also found that after waking up in the inn that again I am simply lying on the bed, unable to move or respond and no matter how long I wait, be it 1, 2, 3 minutes nothing happens. Unless there is some game mechanic or mod mechanic I am missing?

Starting to test Defeat with DA/SD+. Victim only.

Tried the bandits... Everything seems to work fine. The rape, the bar, the nice touch of the bandits taunting my battered PC, the after rape..  sweet.

Then ambushed by wolves. Here nothing happened... Enter bleedout and died. (of course creature was enabled).

Anybody tested the creatures?

There is supposed to be a timer if the target can't reach you in 10 seconds (Even with Stay Down enabled) something is not working right if you telling me your char does not get up on his own, I'll do tests and improve this, thanks.

mines having a problem where my character is knocked over, i'm prompted to resist, and then i get back up without doing anything every time, and the npc continues knocking me over.  i run out of HP eventually and die.

sorry if this one has been solved already but i don't want to sort through 200 pages.

Gentlemen, help please! I have the same issue.

What does the fox log says?

Hi, rape option as aggressor work's fine for me in the new version, but the 'Kill' option kill's me after showing two strikes, not the victim :)

Omg I did not fix that? sorry will do.

Thank you, basically you want a slider instead of a toggle for those options? that's possible yes.

Hey there!

I had some severe issues with my various mods and decided to start with a clean slate using NMM to install all my mods (for ease of upgrading, etc.).  I've re-downloaded and installed  a selection of mods, but ran into a problem with Defeat.

It is 'disabled' in the MCM menu. I've tried mashing that to get it to start. I've tried starting a dozen new games. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling Defeat. I've tried offering my firstborn to the Sheogorath. I've had no luck getting the mod to start.

Has anyone had this issue with the latest version? More importantly, has anyone had luck getting around this issue?

So here's what's happening in my game:

My character is defeated, and Death Alternative kicks in, handing over to Defeat since it's the only 'bleed out' option. Rape happens, it all works fine, and then when it's over, my character is sitting down looking all distraught (as she should). I'm given the struggle bar, and when I hit the keys it all works great! My character gets up and is prompted to run. She gets far enough away and Defeat lets go, giving me free reign to do as I please.

All this sounds perfect, right? Well, almost. The issue is that once Defeat is done, it *is* letting go and not allowing Death Alternative to do it's thing... so no robbery events, SD+ never kicks in, that sorta thing. As I mentioned above, Defeat is the only possible 'bleed out' event currently, I assume because it set itself that way. Do I need to add some probability to the default event for DA to work properly? I will if that's what's necessary, but I was really hoping Defeat would hand things back to DA on its own, so rape could happen and then whatever else.

Or maybe it's just my game and it's working fine for others? I'd like to know.

With DA once a NPC has raped your char he will not attempt to do it again for 5 minutes so if he defeats you again DA will do other events, SD+ for example I suppose. So far all of this is normal, remember that is WIP, I would like to make it so DA's events kicks in right after a Defeat scene with all my quests registered to it.

And before someone asks, no DA will not be mandatory, I have my own system to trigger post-assault quests.

I completely understand it's WIP, and I appreciate the work you're putting into this great mod, which has easily become one of my favorites!

Given what you said above, I guess I then need to report that the 5-minute grace period isn't working for me then. I tested this on a Draugr, where I'd run away after rape, but then return immediately when Defeat let me draw a weapon again; the Draugr raped me every time. Then again, this still might have something to do with the DA version, or that Defeat was the only possible 'bleed out' scenario since the other one was set to zero. I will test!

Draugrs don't enslave, the only creatures that do it are falmers (as I know).

I haven't tested creatures that much but Werewolves seem to work. I am still getting the bug where the Werewolf was able to knock me down a second time and then take a second turn on me even though I am using DA and have Defeat set to Immunity: Long.

Ok if there is suppose to be a 10 second timer then I would say the timer is not working. Because I was testing it I waited a full minute exactly just to be sure the guy wasn't going to walk up. Instead he walked away back the way he came but my character never got up from the on her side animation till I told sexlab to clean. It only happened that one time, I think the issue was he was so far away Defeat didn't make him come the rest of the way and obviously the timer at least that time did not work. So far in all my testing that is the only bug I have run across.

Well I was going to report another bug but it was not defeat. The camera got all messed up after a surrender, but it turns out custom camera mod and Defeat both use the G key so when I surrendered it changed my camera view and it took me awhile to figure that out and then change the hotkey. :)

Weird cause all I do is hit disable. exit the menu wait about 15 seconds and a message pops up about defeat being updated or something. Then I go back into the menu and everything works. I did have issue with it on one like the very first version of the new beta defeat. Have you updated each time since then? Maybe that is the issue but even then it should work on a new game. So not sure.

really no one got the 5b.1.1 version for reupload?

thanks..

Sorry I didn't keep my copy of it but I see germanicus helped you out.

Yep no matter what I do I can't get 5b2.1 to work. I move it around my load order and all that does is either make it not load onto mcm or load on mcm. But either way I can not install it. The original 5b1 shows up and can be installed but you get stuck after a defeat. I even went as far as removing devious captures and sexlab submit progressive bondage and it still didn't work.

I've had this same issue trying to convert my existing save to the new release.   I ended up going back to 5b1.1 until I start a new game.

Requires the sucsessfull installation to download both files shown after clicking the download button?

In case not, which one is required Defeat V5b2.1.rar or SexLab - Defeat V4.2.1.7z?

Defeat v5b2.1 is a beta version of the reword Defeat. the v4.2.1 is the old stable version that still works with sexlab 1.39, the new beta only works with sexlab 1.57
