Can someone please briefly explain what 'death proof' surrender does? It seems to be the exact same as auto surrender in MCM menu.

I also have the re-agro bug with almost all of my prisoners when somebody from the same factions attacks me. Even sneaking and sheathing weapons doesn't work, usually ending up in me killing them. Thank you.

Death proof is the auto surrender but it doesn't kick in until your character SHOULD have been killed. Then you surrender and it keeps you from getting killed.

Details or it didn't happen or at least you shouldn't have bothered posting. Or were you not hoping it could be fixed?

Don't think it does dude as I have captured dreams (along with integrations and interaction DD mods) and i've not noticed an issue

Also a 7 word bug report isn't very helpful if you've actually found a bug

This may be a dumb question, but does the surrender option work on a percentage basis, or does it rely on something else? I ask because I surrendered a couple of times already and every time; combat stops for a second and then a debug message pops up on screen that says something like "player surrender not accepted" and then combat resumes as usual until my character is dead (even though I have the auto surrender options selected) no matter how many times I surrender.

I'm having this as well, just started so I haven't had a chance to dig into it yet but it reminds me of the old you are still in combat errors from way back when.

-edit-

  • Additionally, added a Global state to ignore invalid target checks after the player had already surrendered and been taken at least once per scenario. This Global is reset after everything is over and you escape.
  • This above should resolve the erroneous "You are still in combat!" messages. That message has been changed to "Your opponent doesn't accept your surrender!", which should now only play if you try to surrender and there are NO valid targets and your character hadn't been assaulted yet.

so for some reason despite having three targets that meet the gender req and all that it isnt finding them as valid targets if I read that right.

Yeah, that sounds EXACTLY like what I'm experiencing.. Thanks for pointing this out. At least now I know this has been a problem before and apparently still exists in some cases.

On another note it seems to let me proposition NPCs for sex, though I have yet to try to follow that dialog option all the way through, so I'm not sure if that's bugged too..

I am having the same issue, every time I surrender it is not accepted, I stand back up and they attack again, if they beat me again still not accepted. Eventually they just stop attacking, but never accept my surrender.

Hey I was wondering if there was any possibility that this mod could get integrated into Death Alternative? This is probably a long-shot request but I thought it would be pretty cool, as other LL mods are starting to go this way (Sanguine's already has, and I believe Defeat will too). I know you don't like creating too many dependencies, Dkatryl, but in this case it would be a great boon to compatibility with other mods of similar type, since each one becomes a 'scenario' in DA and thus all have a chance to fire, rather than competing with one another to take control when the player is defeated in battle.

It would create a lot've variety in what happens when I lose a fight, never knowing just what the bandits (or whatever) are going to do to me. ^_^

Edit: As a sidenote, you wouldn't necessarily have to have DA as a hard dependency... perhaps only a dependency for auto-submit to be active. That way, people who use Submit for other reasons (player aggression or dialogue) wouldn't need it.

I would like to see something like this as well, the taken prisoner and locked in a cage for ransom scenario really caught my interest.. the possibilities.

DK - I found very interesting thing in new version. Although my surrender is on 100% of success and all other settings are set to 100% d successful submission, the pack of wolfs (they never behave that way before) refused to accept my Pc's surrendering. I was shocked. Never ever had that situation before. Is it a bug or I have missed something in tweaking?

Well for some reason the entire bandit faction seems to love me now. I'm not sure what caused it, but whenever i go into a camp of bandits (or reavers when i was on Solsheim) they all run right up to me and  occasionally start clapping. Is there perhaps a console command to fix this? or perhaps a fancy way to just get on their bad side again? I would really like to not be able to just sideways power attack and wipe out an entire fortress-worth of people simply because they wont fight back.

I'm glad to know people got enjoyment out of my bandit predicament. and as it turns out, it doesnt seem to be limited to them. I just got hit with a random Dawnguard vampire attack and the vampire master shouted out, "Im on your side" when i tried to smash his face in. So that's two factions enthralled by my...um...reputation. I feel like maybe something didn't get reset right after a surrender.

note: this may or may not be the cause since i am not sure if i loaded afterwards or not, but while i was doing a Companions quest to take out a group of silver hand, I started taking heavy damage in my werewolf form, i ran to another room when my health got low, my hp fell to auto-surrender levels and i reverted to human, my ally (not a follower) then took out the other people and i continued the dungeon. I'm pretty sure it was sometime around this mission when i started seeing the odd behavior, so (assuming i didnt have to load the game around this time) this could have been the incident that caused the problem

Does someone have a link to version 29APR14 2127 ?

I am building my load order for my new play-through with "Spouses Enhanced" being a big part of it but it doesn't seem to go along well if not at all with the new SL updates  after 1.54 unfortunately and using v 11FEB14 2301 of this mod  with SL 1.54 doesn't appear really healthy in the long term considering the change log (I am no expert though).

I still have SL 1.39b mind you but well...

How can I turn off female aggressors? I'd rather not see gals raping my guy with their imagenary penisses. Yes, I've turned off strap-ons.

Besides, the submit button does not work. I can submit yet I cannot make NPCs do so because the shout simply does not appear. I've installed Requiem and I believe there is some kind of imcompatibility, am I right?

I installed latest Sexlab and Submit and all was fine. I saved the game and now when i load the game i no longer see dialogue options from this mod for my followers but they still apear on other npcs...

Have you reset the sexlab dialogue options in the mcm so that it appears for both sexs rather than just one?

What has happened is that one of the cloaking spells (the one for spectators) has failed to expire and is now running all the time bringing in anyone it thinks ought to be watching you having sex even though the sex act it was triggered for was finished long ago.

You might try a player.DisSpellAllSpells in the console to see if it will clear up.

Those cloaking spells seem to be a problem, I have always turned off the reaction of the guards to sex in the towns but lately in my game where I have had a lot of sex the game slows way down and it starts dumping it's stack over and over and over again and the item that fills the game stack is unterminated spells checking to see if any guards have been close enough to see me having sex.

The code that triggers that cloak for getting the guards needs to dispel the spell if the option is not set (or better yet the spell doesn't get called if the option isn't set, less overhead that way).

I didn't check, it may need to dispel the spell if it triggers the guards too.

sadly, dispelallspells on myself didnt work. I can now talk to the bandits (nothing happened when i activated them previously) but they still treat me as friendly

That's why I hadn't reported this as a bug yet, my analysis isn't firm yet on exactly what causes the problem and what is required to clear the conditions.

Using Sexlab 1.57 and Sexlab Submit 08May14 2323 for me:

-Player activated submit works fine (as in, combat stops, PC raises hands in surrender, gets beatdown, then raped and robbed and tied up as normal)

-Auto-surrender at 0 health works fine

-Stealth grapple to force an NPC to submit works fine

-Shout hotkey to get NPC to surrender is not working. NPC submits (or doesn't) as intended, but no "Submit or die!" dialogue. NPC just becomes non-aggressive. Talking to them just results in "Huh?" type responses.

-Submit grapple also not working. PC initiates grapple beatdown, NPC goes into bleedout animation as normal, falls over, stands up, and as with the shout hotkey, no submit dialogue, just generic "Huh?" type responses.

-Submitting to multiple opponents only seems to result in them taking turns one at a time, even with Arrok Devils Threeway and Arrok Tricycle animations toggled on under the Aggressive animations list.

Can anyone else confirm or dispute any of these reports?
