Not sure if this problem's been answered, but for some reason, whenever I get down to zero health, or whenever I actually try to submit to an assailant, I get the message "Your opponent refuses your surrender" everytime, without fail.  I have tried to submit my own character several times over, but end up either dead or having to kill my opponents anyways.   I have all the options on in MCM so what am I missing?

Hello

I turned the automatic player surrender option on, and I have set the sexual preference to heterosexual (default). My character is a female and sometimes I get raped by other females due to surrender. Is it something wrong on my part or sexual preference option only works for NPC surrenders?

Thanks

i also get this, a solution would be great. i didn't get this with the old versions.

Whem i suggest 3p, they aceept that. But i started the 3p, the motion not started.

What's the problem?

Check to make sure threeway animations are toggled on under Sexlab Framework. There's three of them, they're all listed next to each other. They're um... Devils Threeway, Tricycle, and Femdom. One thing you should know is that if you have toggled these threeway options for "Aggressive animations" then unless you don't have the "Restrict aggressive animations" option toggled. Or if you don't want aggressive animations to appear in consensual sex scenes then make sure only one threeway animation is toggled as aggressive and leave one or two untoggled so they're available for consensual sex.

Animals never ever work, even with the boxes checked in the Submit menu and in the Sexlab menu.

Do you have FNIS Creature Pack, SexLab Nude Creatures, and Beastiality Extras installed?

Just to throw it out there...I'm having the same issue. I've got all of the above installed and I can initiate creature scenes based on MatchMaker, but every time I try to Submit I get the message "your opponent does not accept your surrender". I've also adjusted the Creature Option to 2 to include everything. I'm not sure what is wrong. Is the Submit option also now based on Speechcraft?

When my PC submits and it is accepted she is bound but I cannot get her out of the bindings. She stays bound and it sends out a check for potential aggressors but none come around, the npcs just go back to doing what they were doing and ignore her. There is something I'm doing wrong.

Are you sure you're using just Submit and not Submit + DD Progression Mod? The latter has problems with submitting to creatures, always failing that I've noticed.

Are you pressing the submit hotkey to try to get out of your bindings? If you're pressing it and don't see any message about your chances of getting out of the binds with your roll, and are only seeing the chance of your attacker noticing your attempts to free yourself, then you probably need to rebind your submit hotkey. Changing it to something else briefly and then back should work. I haven't figured out what causes it yet but occasionally the submit keybind seems to get "unset" so pressing it does nothing, but rebinding it fixes it. At least for me.

Sorry for the repost, but nobody has answered my question and this problem is really bothering me.  Could somebody PLEASE answer this for me?

Let's go through the basic checklist then:

1) Run FNIS for Users again... make sure you are running it as an administrator. Make sure all appropriate Behavior patches are checked (I assume you're using the XP-32 Maximum skeleton so skeleton arm fix if nothing else. If you're using a mod like Female Animation Pack then also check Gender-specific Animations).

2) Load the game and bring up the MCM menu and go to Sexlab Framework. Click on the Rebuild & Clean tab. If you don't have your Sexlab settings saved then click on Export Settings. Manually save your game after doing so (not an autosave). Now click on the Clean System option. Close all menus as it instructs and wait a minute as Sexlab rebuilds itself. You'll see it displaying messages like "Installing this" and stuff like that. When it is done a confirmation box will pop up saying Sexlab has been successfully reset and that all settings have been reset to default. Now go back to the MCM menu and the Rebuild & Clean tab and click Import Settings. Check to make sure all your settings are correct and to your preference. If you have the Zaz Animation pack, you will need to click on that and Register it under the Sexlab tab once again.

3) Save your game. Reload your game. Bring up the MCM menu again and click on Sexlab Submit. Verify that it is turned on. That all of the settings are correct. If all settings are correct, exit out of MCM and draw your weapon. Press the Submit hotkey. Does a force effect shoot out in front of you? If not, then reset your Submit hotkey. Changing it to something else and then back to your preferred key is fine. Exit the menu and then try the Submit hotkey again. Is it working now? If no, then you will likely have to reinstall Submit and try again. Once the Submit shout is working, find an aggressive npc, a bandit or something. As soon as combat starts, sheathe your weapon if it's out and then press the Submit key. You should submit. Does combat stop? Does the NPC punch you into submission and then rape you? If he does not accept your surrender and combat resumes, try again.

4) If it's still not working, try starting a new game. You can use an Alternate Start type mod to skip the intro. Set Sexlab Framework and Submit back up, making sure rape and creature options are on and at the appropriate level. Test it again. If it's working on a new game but not on your old save, then backup your save and try a Savegame Cleaner tool to remove any orphaned scripts. If Submit doesn't seem to be working, try using something like Matchmaker to check whether it's Submit specific or Sexlab in general that's buggy. If animations work but Submit doesn't then you're still having an issue.

5) If it's STILL not working, then run the Savegame cleaner tool again and remove all Sexlab related scripts. Load your save and wait a RL minute or three and then try again. If you're still having trouble, save and load that save and try again after waiting another minute or so.

6) If it's STILL not working, then reinstall FNIS for Users and the FNIS Creatures Pack, reinstall Sexlab Framework and reinstall Submit. Make sure you follow all instructions and have all dependencies. Sometimes an accidentally skipped step in installation is to blame so install very carefully.

7) If after all that, if Sexlab animations work but Submit doesn't on an old save or a new, then something somehow is interfering... so post your load order under a Spoiler tag and maybe it can be figured out.

I've tried steps 1 through 3 and even though my Submit hotkey causes the shock wave when I have my weapons drawn, enemies do not react at all when I press the hotkey with my weapons sheathed and continue wailing on me. Just in case the rest of the steps don't work, here's my load order.

Edit: Ok, I used option 5 and that's fixed it. However, will it fix it for older save files if I use Savegame cleaner? I really don't want to have to craft all of Lydia's BDSM equipment again...

Second Edit: Nope, it does not fix older files... sigh. Well, I guess I'll just craft all of my BDSM gear again, shouldn't take too long.  Thank you for the fix.

Alright, I think I've found a problem with Submit and I'm fairly sure it's submit.

When I try to surrender to creatures (like wolves), it ALWAYS fails, saying that they don't accept my surrender. NPCs, however, lose to wolves, and I've seen them get raped. I don't know why this would be, but based on my troubleshooting I've concluded that the most likely culprit is Submit.

Wolves in particular? Hmm... do you have Automatic Variants perhaps? I believe I remember seeing that if causes issues with Nude Creatures. This conflict may cause wolves (and any other creature that you have Variants) to be unrecognized. I had the same issue until I removed AV. Sometimes you can still get sex with Matchmaker but for some reason Submit has a problem recognizing the variant animals, probably because the animal ends up not being on the valid list from the MCM menu setup.

Just installed some werewolf mods and been running around eating people. And when I died well, I died. I know there aren't animations to support human on werewolf action of any kind sadly - except the other way, but how about a toggle forcing the player out of WW form?

Posted

Automatic Variants? Don't know what you mean.

As a side note, I did get it to reliably work with regular NPCs though. Don't know what was causing it, but a full reinstall of the entire game and my mods cleared that up.

Automatic Variants is a mod that adds a variety of textures to creatures in skyrim so they are not all cookie cutter versions of each other.

Not sure what Automatic Variants has to do with anything.

I was just requesting that Submit have a toggle that forces the player out of werewolf form when their health hits a certain threshold - instead of as it is now, vanilla Skyrim takes over and kills you if you're a werewolf.

Aaand that wasn't even a reply to my post. Sorry.

I have discovered that very few mods in SexLab work properly, if at all. It's beyond me why people are still using this flimsy framework.

For example, the all so popular SexLab Submit: The bandits continually rape me and never stop.  I have no control to stop them, I just stand there forever, until I crash the game, which is the only way out of the loop.
So basically, anytime you use Submit, be sure to save right before you use it, since the only way out of it is to crash.
Maybe it's just a low quaility site here? I never have issues with mods from Nexus, in fact, I think the mod has to actaully work in order for it to be listed there.

Interesting. Submit works fine for me. As you can see, rest of us are do not share these problems with you, or we wouldn't be using this mod. Maybe you could include your load order and papyrus log between spoiler tags, so mod authors can take a look at them?

What comes to quality, I have found that modders in LL are more keen to properly clean their files than many other authors. They also listen when reported about problems, bugs and suggestions here.

I keep my own mods clean and in strict order, and rarely have any serious problems with my 132 mods. Many of those mods are from this site.

I wasn't saying that Automatic Variants was your problem, I was saying that I had that issue when I had the Automatic Variants mod and it cleared up when I removed it. So I was asking if you used it, or a similar mod that adds more varieties of creatures. Like... maybe a mod that adds more than just the standard wolf, ice wolf, pit wolf and alpha wolf. If you have any but those in game, then you're using a mod that adds new wolf varieties and that may have been the cause of the issue, especially if the new varieties didn't use the standard wolf skeleton. But it sounds like you fixed your issue so no more needs to be said.

Sexlab and all mods that are build off of it are considered to be in an alpha state. That being said though, most people who install the mods correctly and have no unforeseen mod conflicts  use these mods with little to no issues, and those issues they do have they report and they get worked on.  And if you think mods cant' be uploaded on the nexus until they work perfectly before it's listed, you haven't been looking around much. There are many mods on there that don't even work anymore or cause more bugs than they solve. You always have to be careful with any mod that hasn't been updated in a long time, or the very new mods that haven't had much playtesting. There are even a fair number of mods on the Nexus that don't list what they do at all! "Hey all I made this really cool mod, hope you enjoy!" is the description. Yeah? A really cool mod that does what? And will it have any conflicts? Really? That's all you're going to say? Why'd you even bother to upload it then? The only advantage Nexus has is it has more regular users and downloaders so it will have more peer review.

Coming to a site with a niche market, those looking to add sexual content to their games for whatever reason (immersion, added consequences, or simply because they like sex) and then complaining that the mods haven't been as thoroughly tested as that new mod on Nexus that was downloaded by ten thousand people on the first day it was released is just something you have to deal with. Now what this site DOES have is users willing to report when they have issues and post load orders and papyrus logs to help determine whether it's a bug in the mod, in the framework, or a mod conflict. So you have two choices, you can report if your problem is reproducible, does it only happen in particular situations? Load your game just before the problem occurs, then after your crash or whatever, upload your papyrus log and post your load order under a spoiler tag.  Or if you aren't willing to do that and only wait to complain, you can just go on your merry way and if you really want sex in your game you can try your luck with animated prostitution... which from what I've heard has a hell of a lot more bugs and conflicts then Sexlab. So in simple terms, be part of the solution or get out of the way. ;-)

Thanks for the nice updates, most features working well.

However, I am having trouble getting the Automatic Surrender to work.

Even with all correct settings, (Auto Sub active, High 100% surrender chance set), NPC's and animals will not accept the surrender.

My character will instead enter the bleed out phase.

Can anyone help me on this?

Cheers!

Can you make an option for submit to activate by sex? Like so aggressive npcs would surrender if you rape them or trigger sex by a matchmaker of a sort. Would be useful for roleplaying some sort of a succubus.

I've run into a bit of a problem with the latest version of Submit. The "Death proof" thingy doesn't seem to work properly for me. When the health bar goes to 0 I enter infinite knocked down state.  I don't die and don't get raped.  I can't move, but i can enter inventory and all that, equip armor, spells and all the rest of it. Other than that nothing happens. I tried to test it by falling from somewhere - same thing, which is rather surprising since as i am given to understand Submit should not even work in such cases. I removed Submit along with other Sexlab mods and the framework itself - to no avail. When i create a new game - everything works fine - i get killed same as always, so the reasonable assumption is that i have loose scripts in the save game. I tried deleting every single one related to Sexlab i could find but nothing seems to work. Any Ideas? What's the exact script i am looking for?

Uninstall instructions for removing Submit is to uncheck the deathproof surrender option first. Deactivating the mod from the MCM menu probably wouldn't hurt either. THEN you can uncheck it or uninstall it, otherwise it leaves the "no death, only bleedout state" option on with no way to remove it and no way to handle it once entered.

It sounds like something is interfering with the mods handling of the bleedout state though... first question is are any other Sexlab mods affected? Can you initiate sex with Matchmaker or through dialogue from a different mod like Romance? If the answer is no then the problem lies in your Framework install. Redownload Sexlab Framework and all of it's dependencies, reinstall Framework and your other Sexlab mods making sure you have all of their dependencies and then run the FNIS for Users patcher checking all appropriate behavior options (at the very least you'll need the skeleton arm fix since I assume you're using the XP32 skeleton.)

If other Sexlab mods work correctly, then the next question is if you can submit via hotkey before you reach the bleedout state. Followup question is if you can force an npc to submit using the hotkey. If the answer to those questions is "No" then try it on a new game... you can use an alternate start mod to skip the intro to test it. If it works correctly on a new game but not your old game, then it's likely a savegame issue. Doing a proper clean save and adding the mod back in should hopefully work. Deactivate the death proof option, deactivate mod, save, uncheck Submit, load game, wait a RL minute or so, save, exit game and use a savegame cleaner tool to remove any orphaned scripts if there are any, add Submit back and then load your cleaned save and wait a minute as MCM adds the mod back in and such and then set your options back up.

If all other Submit features work correctly but only the deathproof surrender option is not working then most likely you're using another mod that alters the event management of the death/bleedout state. I don't know if the mod is compatible with "Death Alternative - Your Money or Your Life" but since it's not mentioned on the front page then I assume they are incompatible. It would most likely also be incompatible with other similar mods like "No Death mod", "SM Essential Player" and "Dragon Souls - Death is Overrated" so if you're using any of those mods that is the likely cause of your problem.

If other Sexlab mods work correctly but Submit doesn't on a cleaned game or a new game, then something is conflicting. Figuring out what that is could be quite... time consuming and it may not even be an obvious mod. So it would be up to you to figure it out if you wanted to go to the trouble.
