Arcturus7777 Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 there is still 100 mb limit on file size? I want to upload Quo vagis TTW, and Quo vagis combined DLc crossover TTW. the first file is 158MB the second is small. I would like to make this one mod area with both mods in it. I can split the First into the MOD and the a Data with meshes and textures. Will this work? i got a little confused reading the thread posts.
myuhinny Posted August 22, 2016 Posted August 22, 2016 Yes the limit is still there. For anything higher then 100 mb you will have to break the file up into multiple pieces or use a place like https://mega.nz/ and just put the link for the file download.
oddrobert Posted August 1, 2017 Posted August 1, 2017 The "Link to a file" option isn't available for me. Is there a post minimum I need to reach to use this feature? Edit: Nevermind. I refreshed the page after submitting this post and it is showing up now.
White_Lotus Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 my status is still newbie. i really want to become member so i can finally upload my own mods i can not even add friend to my list being in a newbie status feels a bit lonely. like a little kid in a corner watching the grown-ups having fun.
White_Lotus Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 w8 a sec,, i did go from newbie to Junior Member after i that post. LoverLlab is like a video game,, i got to level-up by posting stuff. normally i have to kill a dragon or a other creature to lvl up but here i have to post stuff. , Junior Member
myuhinny Posted August 20, 2017 Posted August 20, 2017 Yeah you have to have 2 posts before you can post links and screenshots not sure if that applies to uploading files to the download section or not.

Gray User Posted December 13, 2018 Posted December 13, 2018 I apologize if this question has been asked somewhere else, but: Is it possible to re-list a download under a different category? I have a mod that was originally more of a modding resource, but has reached the point where I think users may want it as a stand alone mod, is there a way to shift the listing without deleting the mod and creating a new entry under a different category?
bubbasmith Posted February 4, 2019 Posted February 4, 2019 Do you still need to post twice before being able to upload screenshots and files?

If things haven't changed you should be able to use the drop down to change the locations you mods are going to reside. Not 100% but I believe I moved a few of my files before that way.
myuhinny Posted April 16, 2019 Posted April 16, 2019 @Laura 'Lokomootje' I believe a uploader can hit edit on their main post and change where the file is suppose to be at as I recall having to do it with one of my uploads I posted that I had accidentally posted in the wrong area. If all else fails you can report the first post of the thread and give info on where you want it moved to or you can PM a moderator here or on the discord and post the link and tell them where you want the thread moved to.
YourFriendlyDragonborn Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 Well I am planning to upload some simple follower mods. Any crash course about permissions and stuff?

27X Posted July 27, 2019 Posted July 27, 2019 Doesn't matter. You don't have a clear chain of permission, here be dragonnes. Secondly it takes "five seconds" to download a mod and then download your mod on top of it, and no harm no foul, aka I'm common sense and what is this. As a perfect example I have a non trainwreck build of Neisa and Onean, had to wait for permission to upload it, which took a chunk of time because Pandea is you know doing stuff and not standing by the internets 24/7 with quivering anticipation. Such is life.
YourFriendlyDragonborn Posted July 30, 2019 Posted July 30, 2019 Turns out getting permissions to use assets from other modders is more frustrating than creating the mod itself. I got a few permissions, but many put up conditions to host the mod only on nexus. and i am creating a simple standalone follower mod. any workaround would be appreciated.
full_inu Posted August 1, 2019 Posted August 1, 2019 I have seen on some big mods (>250 Mb), that you can click on "Download file" and instead of downloading file you will be redirected on service (cloud storage) to download file. How can I achieve the same?
DSHV Posted September 17, 2019 Posted September 17, 2019 When I submit a file, I can't choose category. Do I need to make several posts to get the right to upload files?
PcNerd Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 I have the same problem, maybe we would need more information about this than just Error code: 3D286/1
PcNerd Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 I've heard that you'll need 2 posts before you can upload, as an anti-spam protection. So you have to spam before you can do your thing. Well... here I go, I guess...
PcNerd Posted October 21, 2019 Posted October 21, 2019 Scratch that, I have 6 posts now, and it still doesn't work. What am I missing?! I guess I won't upload my stuff here after all.

It would be a "Flat chested sims" for the Sims 4 slider morphs + overlay I'm not really a modder, but I've spend days on making it, so I would like to share. By the way, at 10 posts I'm ranked as 'Member', but I'm still getting error 3D286/1 What am I missing?
