Conditional Expressions Extended

can someone else check something for me. i left my followers at home and the moment i zoned  conditional expressions extended started spamming scripts and dumps as it seems that since the followers where still being  pinged even if they not  with you but waiting

im using nethers follower frame work.
 had the followers wait forever
once i zoned without them the game got laggy so saved ne exited and expersions was spaming about the followers. went back in to where they where and it cleared. it literally added 200 active scripts about follower expressions till i got them into same zone ass me.

ill try to get a log when i finish rebuilding my skyrim as i decided to tear it apart again and replace some mods.
but you can see if it repeats for you by using nethers then have the follower wait forever  in say a home and leave them there. it seems to think when you have the follow set to wait forever then zone that the follower is still with you even thou they not 3dloaded so it keeps trying to apply to them but cant so starts stack dumping and repeating itself as a active script. the moment you go back to where said follower is they immedaly clear up.

Are there any compatibility problems with the ahegao expressions from the mod Sexlab Survival?

 

Sexlab Survival wasn't mentioned in the compatibility post on the 2nd page.

should not be - this mod is paused during SL scenes

I have some issues with CEE too.

Keep in mind it's from LE so maybe not that helpful.

I never saw a mod that caused so many frames per script, but maybe that's the new FallRimTool format.

Usually too many active scripts or suspended stacks are an issue with faulty mods or conflicts. In this case it's the amount of frames/script.

Only 3 CEE active scripts need 1000s of frames. That doesn't cause stack dumps, but lag.

If I save like that and reload I even get double the breathing sounds.

At some point the high frame count will make the game crash while saving.

Will fix. Fatigue seems to be broken in the original mod

I've been using this for a while.  Recently(ish), I cleaned up my load order and got rid of a bunch of stuff.  I kept Conditional Expressions.  Now, it seems to still work, but the MCM doesn't show up.

I've moved it to damn-near the top of the load order (just past all the ESMs, Expressive Facegen Morphs, and 3BBB), I've installed the MCM kicker... it just won't show up in the menu.

The only "oddities" or conflicts that might be occurring is my install of Whorecrux, PC Head Tracking (but I turned Expressions off for that), and OSLAroused instead of the standard SLAroused.  But again, Conditional Expressions runs all the same.

 

I just want to be able to change some of the settings, man!

What might be interfering with the MCM?

I'm testing in a heavy list and it's always showing up.
However mcm is a bitch
Try new game - and enable logs - check if there are any exceptions. Also attach logs if you have issues and need support - it will speed up resolution

if you want to improve this further you should try using Po3 papyrus extender and use that mod's RandomFunction. It is faster than the vanilla random function.

 

I wish more authors would try po3's extender. it has some unique functions.

Check if another mod also has a missing MCM.

Lately I had issues with Babo mods and Slavetats, one of those failed to load its MCM and blocked the other.

Check your save with FallRimTools, if the MCM script hangs it will be shown there, it also shows if multiple MCM fail.

 

@safado wrote an very interesting essay about that issue here:

If the MCM script completely fails, then MCM kicker has no effect.

Are there any plans to add editable expressions? And if so, I think you could probably use poser hotkeys plus as an optional mod, since it lets you create different face settings and save them, so you could select one of those as the preferred face for a condition, or you could look at its code to learn how to make your own MCM for it (would not flat out use the code in it though, the nexus permissions are a bit of a hard-ass).

Thanks for the suggestion. Posers mod is nice indeed. Expressions editing is implemented also in sexlab itself and in bwa also. It's however quite complicated because half of the expressions are not simple mood or phonem vars. There are animation like cycles -eg  fatigue anim involves open close mouth cycle to simulate breathing. Transitions between expressions are also scripted.

Can you make a trigger for battle fuck? or should it work? I mean after being defeated your character expression should it change to sadness/pain or furyness

Since you intended it to not stack, you should add a "No recast" flag to it, just to lessen that bug.

there's a global var condition guard in the latest version. Does it still happen for you?

yeah it is still happening, I'm just guessing the script isn't updating it as quickly due to lag,

 

"No recast" doesn't fix it completely though, but it does happen less now.

Ok. Added for future release. I'll think about adding counter latch instead

This should be handled by the battle fuck mod itself imo.

naked defeat comes with its own nice expressions during defeat :P

Thanks for the update. I liked this mod so I applied the update right away. However, I found that my mouth didn't move when my colleague was talking. In MCM, if the update interval followers are short, this is what it looks like. I tested with 60 and this is very rare. I tested with 3 again and found the lip sync error twice. Please watch the video. Appears at 1 minute, 1 minute and 30 seconds. I wrote it with a translator. thank you.
