Hi, Thanks for the great work.

When I installed pack. no animations work. My character just runs around like a stiff rag doll. I've run FINS 4.0 beta as well. Any suggestions?

Do me a favor

 

Run FNIS and paste the entire log and output of the windows here...

 

Sounds to me it either wasn't installed correctly or it ran against errors as you get the mod working due the isChild...

 

HIGHLY likely you do not have the correct beta... I believe it was 4.3 or something... 

(the one with furniture) and if that's the case I'm allowed to shoot and rage at you XD

So I took my backup data and re-installed it. This time, I didn't check anything in the FNIS and it worked fine, no problems.

You just had to reinstall FNIS tbh ... If it went on errors or else just check what the log error was... (probably FNIS beta again)

"ERROR(2011): Wrong line in Animation List. Line  262 (..\..\meshes\actors\character\animations\ZaZAnimationPack\FNIS_ZaZAnimationPack_List.txt):  fu ZazWoodenHorse01 ZazAPCAO024.hkx ZazAPCAO024.hkx ZazFurnitureExit.hkx"

Please read the thread. If it's important enough to you to get this working, you'll notice the bold red letters at max font size and stuff like that. You can also check the first post (at the top) for the same bold red lines telling you wtf to do.

 

And I'm not being rude, because it's been asked like ten times for the last three pages. And the question has been answered quite a few times. Not to mention that it was clearly stated in the upgrade instructions, and in the mod requirements.

 

 

The problem Is because before I update to the newer version, I hadn't this problem, and I have all the required files already intalled.

I upgraded to FNIS 4.0 Beta 3 and I got the same error (Wrong line in Animation List. Line  262 ...)

 

In fact, despite having uninstalled the previous FNIS version and installed the new one with Wrye Bash, I was still running the old FNIS exe. For whatever reason, Wrye Bash didn't uninstalled/reinstalled the executable files. Had to install the tools directory manually in order to rebuild the behavior files.

 

This may explain the confusion, for Wrye Bash users at least.

Wrye bash does not update exe files. Good thing you found out, ... could take a while to figure out otherwise. :)

It should be removed. I also would, if I were you, take the time to properly deinstall the previous version and follow the upgrade instructions.

 

If you drop an archive in the Data folder, odds are when a new release comes, you'll leave the old files in there, and that will eventually break your game.

 

Get a mod manager. It solves all of this for you.

Hey, silly question:

I'm in the process of uninstalling this in order to install the new version of both this one and XPO, and I just noticed there's a femalehead.tri file and what not in the character assets folder.

 

-Would deleting those files and/or replacing with the new ones mess with my character, considering I use RaceMenu with CharGen? Basically to get more sliders to tweak my character's face.

 

Thanks in advance. I tried looking for upgrading instructions but couldn't find any, so I'm just doing what XPO says (with the added steps that I need to run FNIS after uninstalling and reinstalling this mod, if I got things right); Run game, save, delete mods, run game, save, install mods, load previous save, enjoy optionally. The last optional step may be problematic if I find that it'll mess with my character's head D:

 

EDIT: This may be because I had the previous Zaz installed with FNIS 3.5, and just yesterday upgraded to the Beta, but when I deleted everything from Zaz, ran FNIS and then went to open Skyrim, I would crash as soon as the initial bethesda logo video played out. So I skipped the step where I would go in game and save then quit (because it was literally impossible), and instead when right ahead and installed the new Zaz. -Then- went in, loaded a save, waited for the MCM menu to register, and saved again, then quit. Only then I installed XPO and went to load the save again.

 

EDIT 2: Everything seems to be working just fine.

 

Still wondering about the .tri file though... Needless to say I reinstalled Zaz without replacing those head .tri files.

For some reason when I try to use the latest Zaz animation pack with Schlongs of Skyrim, SOS is unable to load. the previous version of the pack had no problem but it seems this one is blocking the mod some how. has anyone gotten them to work together?

Could you describe the problem? How do they not load together?

Work for me with FNIS V 3.5 but sometimes the game quit...but is not frecuently, so it's really necesary the FNIS 4.0 ? , i'm new with mods and was really hard for me install the V 3.5  :( , sorry for my bad english .

i have no idea...

 

I believe that means you are using the wrong FNIS version.  You should be using the FNIS 4.0beta3 as it states in the OP, not FNIS3.5.

I upgrade the FNIS to the 4.0 beta 3 because like I said before sometimes the game crashes but now it's worse  :(  , I check  this mod with the prison-overhaul  mod on FNIS 3.5 and work all the way but on the end of the mod the game always crashes  but now with the 4.0 when you enter to the cell to be punished the game always crashes , it has to do something with this mod because prison-overhaul work fine just the end crashes...please help I love the  prison-overhaul mod !!! 

 

 

This appears on the Generate FNIS for users 4.0 beta 3 window...I don't see nothing wrong...help !!!
