I have been watching Blend S and Two Car along with the ones you mentioned. They have been rather amusing so far and less serious so it balances out the other two somewhat.
Darkpig Posted December 10, 2017 Posted December 10, 2017 Houseki no Kuni is something of a gem in the rough. Yes I made that pun. Anyway, the CGI is well done and the story has interesting philosophies built into the plot and I also heard that it has a few references to Buddhism which I can see a few but I'll have to look into that some other time.

That 10th episode was really something, will definitely read the manga once the show ends. Other good anime airing this season are Shoujo shuumatsu Ryouko (Girls' Last Tour) and 3-Gatsu no Lion S2. Can't get enough of their comfiness.

Angrybird Posted January 12, 2018 Posted January 12, 2018 Season of High school girls doing stuff they'd never do? These aren't terrible and seem relaxing, good sequels, seven deadly sins was cool hopefully overlord will be alright too. Koi wa Ameagari and Violet Evergarden look good and don't seem like bad stories. The iseka one is trash.
Guest Posted January 20, 2018 Posted January 20, 2018 rewatching the 90's series of Neon Genesis....least it makes sense unlike 3.0
Kuロi Posted January 25, 2018 Posted January 25, 2018 A few weeks ago I went through all seasons of Aria. I still can get over how relaxing that anime is as well as how the last few episodes (The "The Avvenir" ones) were amazing. I watched all episodes over a couple weeks, a few episodes a night before sleep and even now whenever I go to bed I still can't help but smile a bit thinking about it. That anime is simply perfect for what it seeks to achieve and I got nothing but praise for it.
Angrybird Posted June 13, 2018 Posted June 13, 2018 Hero academia was the only thing I truly enjoyed this season, I started watching 7 Deadly sins but it's worse than the 1st season I dunno not really into it.

Without giving spoilers, you gotta admit: this part is badass! Reveal hidden contents midoriya's fight was much better from a technical perspective they didn't quite manage to get the feeling of desperation and passing of the torch wich I think was what was intended. Still good tought.
Alan47 Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Hi folks, I'm currently looking for new Ecchi Animes to watch, and what better place could there be to start looking than LoversLab To give you an idea of what I am looking for, here are some animes that I really enjoyed: Manjuu Hikenchou (the mere idea of this story is out of this world and the work of a mad genius; alas there has never been a second season...) High School DxD (actually neat story in there, the world is subject to interesting "rules") Senran Kagura (a bit on the dumb/silly side, but at least funny. Mainly watched this because I enjoyed the games) On my list to watch soon: Seikon no Qwaser What else should I add to my list? It can be more or less explicit, I don't care that much; just no pure hentais with no story at all please
Niseka Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Prison school , sora no otoshimono , to love ru , Rakudai kishi no cavalry , Trinity Seven After idk there is many ecchi but they are bad and not interesting
FauxFurry Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 What about Hajime No Ippo? It is a pretty good boxing drama on its own but it also turns into borderline gay porn at times when the male characters engage in sexual horseplay with one another or the camera focuses on one of the guys in a way that would make Moral Guardians extremely uncomfortable, prompting an immediate protest if the genders were reversed.
Alan47 Posted July 2, 2018 Posted July 2, 2018 Thanks for the many suggestions! I knew I came to the right place
DragonLord1921 Posted July 8, 2018 Posted July 8, 2018 Before you ask but what about hentai & hentai stuff don't worry I'm including anime movies, hentai & hentai stuff. RomeoZero Posted July 8, 2018 Posted July 8, 2018 IDK about what you like but, if you are into classic animes ( 80's~90's) "KonoSuba" ( comedy, action, jrpg theme, like Slayers and so on ) is a must have in an arsenal. It is like a new breath after those stupid rotten Harem,mc virgin, retarded script animes of this 2 decades. 1

Darkpig Posted July 11, 2018 Posted July 11, 2018 Finished FLCL Progressive and being a fan of the first one I quite liked it. Sadly I saw some bad reviews of it because "it doesn't measure up to the original" or something. Damn hipsters hate everything that is not more than 100 years old. Anyway If you liked the whole non-coherent plot and shenanigans disguised as a coming of age story with the original FLCL then you'll like this.

Japanese cartoons have only been around since the 1960s. I get your point about hipster fans but that exaggeration of timescale bugged me a bit more than it should, possibly due to it not being taken to an illogical extreme.

To your first statement I figured as much. And to the second I said hipsters not archeologists but whatever you can add an imaginary zero and call it good.
Kamen Rider Kuuga Posted July 15, 2018 Posted July 15, 2018 Well, it seems Broly is now canon... or at least a version of Broly. And no, I don't mean Kale. Apparently, the upcoming movie will be about Broly, but it will likely be a different one, rather than the same Broly we got for two movies, then he was cloned for that horrid third film. While this sort of pleases me, I would have preferred the original Broly to have been canon. That way they wouldn't have stolen as much as they could have from him to make that failure Kale.
Guest Posted August 3, 2018 Posted August 3, 2018 currently enjoying Isekai Maou to Shoukan Shoujo no Dorei Majutsu Hataraku Saibou Yuragi-sou no Yuuna-san hoping for season 3 of Kono Suba
