Nah it is even replicable, just put a bandit in an empty closed room, with not weapons equiped but a chest with weapons, it always be I punch you to dead or I'll go equip a weapon and kill you (even more if Im losing), is like that annoying behavior of shop owners (even the elf owner from the Drunkenhuntsman in whiterun) that they would follow you in "all the building" if you actually go to their rooms or anywhere that is not the shop

Small notice. The link to 'Prison Alternative POP Addon' on the main page is broken due to Ponzi sadly leaving the community.

It now lives on in the 'Ponzi Dump' project.

For those who have problems with Rustic Repose - A Common Bed Replacer at Skyrim Special Edition Nexus - Mods and Community, download"Rustic Repose - Vanilla Common Bed Replacer". This only replaced bed model and texture without changing bed ID. It works well with prison alternative. 

 

In addition, BOS version of  bed replacer Mods also cause wrong bed sex animations. Actors will sink under the bed.

Having a problem where PA is saying it's detecting ZAZ and to install the correct version of PA, despite installing the compatibility version of PA. I've tried different ZAZ downloads to no avail. I haven't tried an older version of PA as I'd prefer to not have to do that. I unfortunately do need ZAZ for other mods. Anybody have a fix?

You made an error during installation.
completely scrub any previous versions of PA from your game and intsall the zaz compatible version again.

I was caught by the orcs and sent to Cihdna mine.  I ran around collecting ores and waited.  Slept for a day past 8am.  No guard interaction at all.  Is something suppposed to happen?  I have the expanded Cihdna mine mod and have already completed the escape from Cihdna Mine quest.  I could have escaped but thought perhaps there were daily events here.  I was not wearing any DD items.

Cihdna Mine is nor a "Real" jail from the games perspective and therefore, Prison alternative does not touch it. Same with "The Chill" in Winterhold.

How do I get it to work on 1.6.1170 Anniversary Edition?

If that's an issue, you can always open the .esm file in a hex editor and modify the value from hex 0x2b to 0x2c - it's near the top.  Since PA does not add any WEAP records or any of the other modified record types, this edit is completely safe.

Alternatively, install the SE version of the mod via the fomod.

You can simply ignore this. It has no effect on the mods functions

-Finally- decided to start a new run and try out these mods. Got them all (Bad Ends+Orks) working for the most part after a bit of finnicking, although I'm running into a rather specific issue.
Whenever I either A. Escape, or B. Am released from prison, the camera sinks to floor level in third person and my first person view has differing skin tones for the hands/rest of the arms.

 

In every other scenario the camera remains perfectly fine though, even in Sovengarde. I'm at a bit of a loss.

The only running theory I have is that it has to do with True Movement? I read somewhere it might be incompatible, I had it but disabled it after I was arrested.
I imagine every other scenario would be breaking after I disabled it if that was the cause though. I'm not sure how I'd fix this if that is the problem either.

 

Apologies if this is answered somewhere earlier.

Either whenever I used the bed, had a "nothing" event and it said I was released, the second the binds came off, the camera sunk to the floor.

Same exact thing, I ended up sneaking out of the prison, eventually found a wood axe, equipped it and again, the second the binds came off the camera sunk.

I can grab screenshots in a second here if that'd help, but the reoccurring theme seems to be whenever I'm set free it breaks.

 

All the other events so far seem to work/play out fine from what I've experienced so far. Its just... getting out of the prison system in either way that's breaking.

Thinking this save might just be busted. I ended up fixing the camera when I reloaded, but the miscolored arms never went away. After getting arrested again, my -body- went discolored and the bound anims broke.

Nothing in there that jumps out at me as being a likely issue, except that you need more RAM.  You're sitting at 80% RAM utilization with another 21+GB of page file being filled.  You gotta close some Chrome tabs or something because your CPU is thrashing pretty hard when you get to those kinds of numbers - spending more time moving data in and out of RAM than doing any of the actual number crunching stuff that your OS and your game need to work.

I can give you some things to check on.  I had a similar issue for a long time where my SSE would CTD the moment that any vampire's face was loaded, even if it was fully occluded behind geometry.  What seems to have been the cause was something related to the face textures.  By downloading a mod that changes all of the Vampire races to use the normal head textures, the problem was solved.  Along similar lines, I occasionally encounter a CTD caused by textures issues with armors, usually because I've been fucking with it and I forgot to change something while I was in Outfit Studio.  You will also experience an immediate CTD if any mesh is loaded with the BSLightingShaderProperty which has its Shader Type set to Environment Map but without the Evironment_Mapping flag set to true, or the inverse (i.e. both must be true, or both must be false or your game crashes).

What I would do in this situation is go to UESP.net and look up the Castle Dour Dungeon cell, and find all the NPCs who spend any time in there.  Then, from outside that area, use the prid and moveto player commands to grab each NPC one-by-one and force them to load.  If you get a CTD upon issuing a moveto command, then you know at least which NPC is causing the issue and you can start trying to figure out why.  This process will be complicated if you have any mods which add NPCs to the dungeon or modify any NPC packages, as it may be quite challenging to identify every NPC who may be the cause in that case.

Assuming you determine that no NPC is the cause, then you start using the placeatme command to make copies of things like furniture, activators, statics, etc. that are found in the cell.  If you get this far, I would start with the collapsible brick wall, which I believe is almost unique to the dungeon.  Note that you have to use the placeatme command in this case, as many record types like statics cannot have their position updated via the console.

Thank you for your in depth response! I've never thought to do this before, but it is a brilliant idea.

 

RAM may very well be the issue, too though. I am running a rather old CPU and GPU. Plus I have like 500 mods installed. 

 

I will check the NPC's, but if that doesn't work. I'll downsize a bit. :)

I glanced over the Troubles of Heroine compatibility and noted it said its fine as long as its not used with DCL. My question is essentially what is DCL? lol

Well... a guard can come in and bonk your character. You can get bonked in other ways depending on city. Riften has a whole bonk party. If you escape and are recaptured you can bonked more via various things.

 

If you have the Sovengarde thing the executions don't even matter because you end up there and there's a TON of bonking to get out. 🤣

What about followers? Are they sitting in that cage all the time?

Followers join you in executions and subsequently to Sovengarde with that mod. And I think the parties also. Usually it's just your character in the cell.

 

Been awhile since I've gotten caught though, anybody else want to elaborate? 🤣

followers get bonked in some of the addons before executions, but not during regular prison stay.
