When I open the console in-game with the usual ~ key, I now see a TON of information suddenly, has to do with thread this or that, or checking this or that and so on.  Am I supposed to be seeing this?

 

I had to re-acquire everything recently, including, of course, SL itself, so EVERYTHING is up to date, newest version, etc.

 

I haven't attached the Papy log or even a screenshot, because I'm thinking this is normal with the latest SL now -- if it is not, then I'll attach those things, and maybe somebody can help me figure out why all that stuff suddenly shows up in the console.

All of that stuff is supposed to show up.  It is just what happens when you first get into the game because Sexlab is starting up.  You can also see other information in the console when using Sexlab such as when you are switching animations it'll show which animation it switched to.

Sounds like you may have turned on the Debug option in the MCM Menu for Sexlab which will greatly increase what is logged.

I've done something that causes animations to cap at 375, in mcm it says 375/500 but no more can be added. for instance if I'm adding FB anims in slal and say I'm at 360 anims already and I add a group that has 40 only 15 of those will be added even though slal says all were added successfully. I'm sure its not sexlabs fault, I was just wondering if anyone else has come across this or might know the reason this is happening.

Are you running Sexlab 1.62?

 

375 was the hard limit for an older version of the framework.

 

Another possibility is a patch you or someone else made and included in a mod to Sexlab that reverts part of the framework to the older limit.

Thx, It's the strings patch for sexlab I'm using. being able to save trumps more anims in this case hehe.

Isn't the debug option on by default?

No.  It should only be enabled when troubleshooting an issue or for debugging purposes.  I know that enabling this option will break some of the scripts in the Sex Slaves (Mia's Lair) mod.

It was the Debug option, and yes, it was on by default because I saw this stuff when I opened the console to COC to a safe empty room, so I *could* set up SexLab (and SkyUI and SoS) -- hehe, in other words, I hadn't done anything to it yet, not even clicked sex preference in the Diary option.  But at least now I know everything's working as intended, and that I didn't mess something up.

The debug option is always activated when I start a new game though...

 

It is activated when starting a new game. Also export/import settings doesn't seem to work on that checkbox, it does not turn off when loading settings where it should do.

Hello i am experiencing some crashes lately when i am updating the animation list and then reloading the save file so i was wondering if the 500 animation limit is for both human and creature animations or each category has its own limit?

Each category has it's own limit, 500 for character and 500 for creature.  You currently cannot go beyond 500 for either category.

 

If you add animations mid game you need to re-run GenerateFNISforUsers.exe and then activate them if necessary in the MCM options.  If you rebuild your animation registry some mods have to be manually re-registered such as Zaz.

 

To lessen CTD issues always have the 'Startup CTD Fix' enabled in the SexLab MCM Menu options.

Again about beds. If I set 'NPCs using beds' to 'never', would they still perform occasional 'night love' scenes, but with no using beds, i.e. on the floor, or in other places? Either 'Go to bed' or 'Tide to sleep' mod seams to cause the unpropper using beds. So I would like to restrict the beds using function bound to casual SL animation events.

Odd bug I'm encountering: Whenever I transform into Vampire Lord form it changes my gender to female (though I still have male vampire lord appearance) and it won't let me change it back to male (it changes back automatically when I revert form, where I can change it at will). Because of this, my game effectively freezes when I try to do a Vampire Lord animation. Anyone else encountering this? Any ideas on how to fix this?

need some help. no matter what i do, i cant get ANY 3p+ anims to work. creature and human. i have horny dragons, and such that has the 3p+ anims if that might be why. but i also have mass match maker, sexlab tools, and neither of thos will trigger any 3p+ anims. i have scent of sex which is supposed to help with that in its own way, but nothing i do works. i checked different forums on how to get this to work and the usual solutions of tag using match or tools dont work. if anyone has any ideas or solutions i thank you in advance.

i just downloaded xxl, though it doesnt seem to really do anything, i have the most updated version of 1.62, i have all the anims for 3,4,5 toggled. now the anims for humans have started to work but the creatures arent still working; ive even gone as far as toggling thos animations only with no luck. and using mass match ive done that, ive used sexlab tools to do specific animations such as 3 plyer animations and nadda.

Did you enable creature sex in the Sexlab MCM? I won't happen if it's not enabled.

i have creature sex enabled. i have everything enabled. oddly enough the stock animations, from before 1.62 such as the drauger 5p and all those work. but once you get to the update of mnc with multiple canines, skeevers, and other animations like horny dragons, they wont work.

I have a couple of things to report and I'm not sure if they're inherent SL bugs, bugs on my end or not bugs at all:

1 - Sometimes, when my character tries to have sex, everyone else 'gets on it' but my character just stands there.

 

2 - Choosing 'Yes' to "Use nearby bed?" works but the characters always end up being in the 'wrong' position in the bed (as in, they're facing the pillows and standing near the bottom of the bed, instead of the other way around). Not such a big issue since I can just rotate with U but still annoying.

1 - The [ key is your friend.  I have this happen on occasion and the [ key resets all character's position in the animation.

 

2 - I have the same issue.  For this reason I have that option disabled.  I'm not sure if it is SexLab that sets the default bed position or the animation authors.  Either way it needs a lot of help!  The participants need to be in the middle or sleeping position on the bed and elevated slightly (too much bed clipping occurs which is highly annoying).

To track actor's state in scenes I usually used Hooks to advance phases at ending of animation. Once I decided that there is more simple solution with using SexLabAnimatingFaction.
For example condition to end phase is that actor not in this faction.
BUT in situations where same actor is used in sequence of animations I didn't get stable result. Sometimes phase ends when actor just starts new animation.
Reason in next lines from sslActorAlias.UnlockActor():
...
    ActorRef.RemoveFromFaction(AnimatingFaction)
    ActorUtil.RemovePackageOverride(ActorRef, Config.DoNothing)
    ActorRef.SetFactionRank(AnimatingFaction, 0)
...
With Reset Acror at animation ending first line removes actor from faction and in my scene phase is advanced, third line again adds actor to faction...
Afterwards with endind thread RestoreActorDefaults() is called and removes actor from faction AGAIN and next scene's phase advenced with no reason.
Will be better to remove first line that removes actor from faction. Anyway this action is useless but cause weird result.
