Is this normal?

attachicon.gif2014-08-31_00025.jpg

I'm only at apprentice, but I noticed that  "Oh" seems to jump to 100 when this happens. Never happened in 1.58b .

"Normal" is debatable, but it happens in 1.59. Expressions are implemented in the new version. If this happens a lot and you find it annoying, you can turn off expressions in the SexLab menu.

Can SexLab famework recognize which strap-on is being used? When using a pregnancy mod I would love it if certain strapons permitted f/f sperm but others didn't.

PS: I know that defining which ones work and which ones don't is something for the pregnancy mods to have, but I want to know if the code to recognize it exists in the first place. It would be a very useful addition.

Also, I've recognized that sometimes, a mesh for a strapon appears to simply be missing and want to be able to unassign certain strap-ons from SexLab's framework, is that not possible or am I just being a derp?

That happens to me in a lot of phonemes or modifiers,no matter what value I put,it ends at 100.That tends to broke my custom expressions, and I can only do some basic ones, like open mouth and move eyes a little,no advanced things like playing with eyebrows and stuff.

On another note, after having a lot CTD's and problems loading saves with this new version,I saw that LOOT was telling me that Sexlab was a mod in conflict.

At the end,it was a problem with Zaz animation pack, after upgrading to 6.0 the conflict was gone and seems to be stable again.

Looking at the change log for 1.59 , three animations added?  Where are they? I had 74 different showing in "Toggle Animations" in 1.58b , in 1.59 , I still have 74 ? Creatures maybe ?

if i have correct, you can see them in the skyrim folder under data/meshes/actors/characters/animations/sexlab , under name of zdis2....blowjob/doggystyle/threesome

(stop me if i have wrong ^^)

i have following problem with 1.59, i get CTD after talking to client, restart it works 3-4 times, then CTD again in buildings, out side i get CDT in same way (on new install) rolled back to 1.58b everything works perfect.

i am using following LL-mods: Angirms Apprentice 1.4 - Animal manision 04b - Captured Dreams 2.82. - DD-assets 2.82 - integration2.82  - expansion 112a - restrained 10 - defeated 5b3.3 - cursed loot 1.4- helpless1.15 - Dibella sisterhood 07 - Gags FX - hyd slavegirls - Stats manipulator - aroused - SL stories 041 - SL DD stories 04a - Solution - zax Prison Overhaul 032 - Zaz 600 - TDF 2.0.0.0d - Were wolves 2.1 - More Nasty Critters 7.6 - stop combat. FNIS and SKSE newest version too.

i dont know if this helps. the CTD come always after TDF conversation *lets take care of...* rapes work sometimes but often CTD too. back on 1.58b everything works with the mods above. Can anyone please help me about whats going wrong? or what is needed for looking deeper into the problem. (sry for bad english)

They show up there, but not in the MCM, thinking back, FNIS didn't show them either. Maybe if I rest the animation registry?

Hmm good to see i'am not the only one seeing random crashes on start of sex scenes. So it seem there is a unresolved dependency problem or so as some don't seem to have the problem.

On my side i can always see that it's a null pointer exception generated by StorageUtil.dll. (Can get that from the crash dump of hdt-MemPatch.)

I've been wrestling with CTDs when sexlab animations are supposed to trigger for a while now, and I think I'm tracking it down to the Animation Profile .json file that will appear in SKSE/Plugins/SexLab if you adjust positions of actors with the hotkeys. So far, if I have that file there seems to be a very, very high chance of a CTD, and the last line of my papyrus log will always be the adjustment profile, listing the name of the selected animation and the race and gender of the actors invovled. Also, the PapyrusUtilDev log in the main Skyrim folder will end with two identical lines saying it is loading that .json file, almost as if it tried and failed, then tried again and crashed.

If I don't have that file, and don't use hotkeys to line up actors, I haven't had any crashes so far. Still investigating, but it might be something to do with MO, too, depending on where the .json file is. For anyone else having this issue, do you use MO? And if you do, do you leave anything that appears in your overwrite mod where it is, or do you drop it into another mod in your priority list?

Yesterday i configured die Animation profile. Today i started and it work without Exceptions.

At the end i want to test a new mod and progess fast the quest. Short for the end was a stage with a Animation and just for it i make a save. This Animation run without problems.

I closed Skyrim and several hours later i want to play. CTD for the stage/animationstart above. Reload and try again result in a CTD. Reset Animation Registery and a new try result in a CTD again.

Because i have sometime this problem since 1.59. i want to report here and read the comment above. Without any other changes i reload the save and change the animation profile from #1 to #2 and the animation run just fine.

I use MO. I'm not 100% what the question mean, but  i think the right answer is i leave anything that appears in the overwrite mod.

@rollo. Thanks for the reply.

What I am asking is, for those who have crashes when SexLab animations are meant to play, and have the "adjustment profile" as the last line of their papyrus log: Do they use Mod Organizer? Do they have an AnimationProfile_(number).json file? And where do they have that file?

So you have that in your overwrite mod. I wondered if moving it out of the overwrite mod (which I do with anything that appears there) is causing my problem. I was just looking to see how other people have their files set up so I can try to identify the issue. Thanks.

I spent this morning setting up Mod Organizer, working with LOOT and WryeBash, and straightening out my load order.  Everything seems to be working infinitely better after following MO's suggestions.  However, I'm reluctant to uncheck sexlab even though MO seems to think it is redundant.  I thought about experimenting on my own, but I think if there's an issue with MO, someone should hear about it sooner rather than later.

You never have to worry about unclicking a mod in MO except when saves are concerned. Those mods that need to be properly stopped and upgraded. If you properly upgraded Sexlab you should be fine unclicking it. However I have tried using it with the previous clicked and it don't seem to make a difference. I wouldn't advise it because what if Ashal removed a part of the mod. It isn't present in the new part and he removed it because of problems. The old Sexlab will be giving that part in your new game and you will have problems and have a dam time finding it. Unless it is a patch and instructed to run *with* the mod I advise to unclick it. You can always click and unclick any mod to your likings MO wise without harm or difficulty. Same with moving priorities on the left side. Easy and safe.

updated to new version (finally ^^) , work fine, i only have 1 sort of bug (very weird), when i start skyrim and play , everytime i start sex with npc i got a CTD, i need reload the game normally and it work great, its very weird bug like if the sexlab mod was not loaded correctly the first time i launch skyrim...its not a conflict as long i have completly reinstall skyrim and sexlab sound like the only scripted mod i use. another crazy bug from me ^^.

this affect only when i start skyrim ( exemple : starting the pc (or play another game or do whatever shit) > launch skyrim (via skse) > start sex = CTD > relaunch skyrim (skse) > start sex = work )

I also had strange problems when upgrading Sexlab. I finally solved it by repeating the upgrade steps given by Ashal. When I followed them to the letter the second time all started working properly. I can only guess that I missed a step before.

I dont know if is just me or what but this update is having a lot fps problems...

its slowl, the last one isnt.

I have used 1.58, and 1,59 etc and the fPS worked just fine and I have very heavy textures and lighting mods. There is no difference in the FPS running or not running Sexlab. MO has a profile without Sexlab (or better stated had a profile without it). as well as a profile that I just finished off that had the previous version with hours on it. No problems. FPS problems with only Sexlab  is very strange.

Oh also let Sexlab have some time to do its thing when upgrading. It takes a bit of time on my machine to get it up and running during that process. Wait doing nothing or next to nothing until you get the prompt that it is upgraded. ( if memory serves me correctly )

i didnt have missed a step or someting, but its clearly a bad load of sexlab, so i gonna try to install it again and see, maybe its just something bad loaded from the folder or any shitty small thing that break all. it work good, except this bug of load ,so i guess its something on my side. i try reinstall it, reup it and relaunch all fnis and stuff.. hope to fix this little problem, i give some news

Thanks for the reply, ritualclarity.  I think I'll just ignore ModOrganizer for now.  It just doesn't pass the common sense test.  "these six mods are dependent on this framework, but you don't actually have to have the framework."  Doesn't really make sense, besides, I've started beta testing dev versions.  I think Ashal would rather I keep the mod checked while testing it.  :D

If MO says Sexlab is redundant (grayed thunder bolt icon) that can only mean you have one more instalation of SL down your mod list. Redundant mod means every single file in that mod is overwriten by something else, and i can not see any mod overwriting SL other than another SL instalation.

I to have exactly the same issue, and like you all my papyrus logs end in "adjustment profile nordM" etc... when I deleted .json files and loaded a civil war save attacking fort with Defeat set to allow npc vs npcm scenes were starting up all over the place just fine. Problem is however when my character is involved in sceen, .json is created and random crashes are back. It doesnt matter if files are in mod or overwrite folder.

This might've been asked before... But This is an awfully long thread... *Ahem*

I want to create a special set of cursed plugs that (rarely) inseminate a character for use with mods such as 'Fill Her Up'. How would I go about doing that? Would there be a way to set which race's semen is used (seeing as Fill Her Up assigns a value to each race)?

I tried to check the Hentai Creatures plugin (as it has an inseminate spell that could potentially help me figure out how to approach this) but, unfortunately, I can't seem to get it to load. And that's an issue for another time.

Now, I'm not much of a Skyrim modder; I've no experience with Skyrim scripts, so please try to go easy on me.

Yep. If checked in the conflicts you will see what  mod is overriding which mod and even what files are overriding them. I can do the exact same thing if I have Sexlab activated below another one. MO only allows the added flexibility of managing the files it is up to you to see where the conflicts are and what to do with them. MO has saved me many a headache finding a problem or conflict. ( particularly useful with skeleton conflicts. amazing at how many of those bad boys end up in a common install )

It takes a bit to get use to MO but when you do you will experience more control and understanding of the mods. It is up to you if you wish to take a vantage of this power or not. There is a thread here on LL that can help with questions and problems more related to MO use. Finally even Ashal advises to use it and if you plan on working the beta there is instructions for MO to maintain Sexlab as well. I am over there on that thread quite often and others there are very willing to help you with your MO questions. It would be ashamed to drop it now after all the work to get it up and running.

oh i have fix my problem about CTD and work after restart... sound like the problem is sexlab romance. if i use dialog option for sex, i CTD first time and it work after restart skyrim. but if i use only framework spell, dat work absolutly perfect, no CTD. i guess its sexlab romance outdated or some incompatibility problem with it .

anyway, it work perfect now with the spell. ^^ if this can help some others peoples

It's not outdated, 'cause I can get it to work just fine.  Might be something else conflicting in conjunction to Romance, but Romance itself is functional.
