Thanks for the great mod, Ashal!

Bit of a noob question here: Is there a more efficient way of testing/editing two- and three-person animations than using MatchMaker and just waiting for a specific animation to cycle around?

You could disable all the unneeded animations. Seems the simplest way to me.

That didn't even occur to me, thanks! =D

Well......... You could "Target" a NPC{s}. hotkey  "N" . In MCM/Sexlab . go into animation editor. pick  a animation and "click here". Exit MCM and the animation should start.

I’m having a problem with the 1.59 version and I think HDT aggressive Prostitution latest version.

After two or three animations and using the free camera linked to the 9 button I get stuck in third person no free look and with save disabled (even in console). If I return to the previous version of framework and saves before the update added everything’s fine and I’ve played over 12 hours without it happening again. Then to check it wasn’t a bad save I tried again and after a couple of animations the problem was back. I know you suggest I disable everything related to Framework but I’ve got lots of stuff running even a few quests is there any way I can fix this without starting all over again? Or is a known problem with a fix I have missed?

Free cam is set to 9 for you? Does freecam work when player controls are disabled? If not, try hitting epc into the console, it should start working again. Uh, that might move your character directly though, so test at your own risk!

There should be a freecam console command, too, and the spell/hotkeys just automatically trigger it is all. Might be worth looking into that.

I don't know if this has been asked before, but is it possible to extend the "General Statistics" menu to add a new category fx. "Sex" where a more in depth list of named npc:s or what ever could be displayed? I have so many mods now in the SkyUI list that even scrolling to SexLab takes forever. Simply ESC->General Statistics->Sex and all the (un)wanted knowledge to display.

I am not fluent in either skyui or papyrus so I don't even know if this is possible. I just thought the feature if doable would be nice.

Posted new update v1.59b, changelog follow:

  • Fixed expressions not applying the right amounts
  • Updated included PapyrusUtil to 2.7
  • Added creature animations to animation editor - just scroll to the bottom of the list of animations in the editor
  • Added new 4way and licking animation by zynisch
  • Added new revamp of existing Arrok Cowgirl animation
  • Added new bool properties to animations sslBaseAnimation.IsVaginal/IsOral/IsAnal/IsDirty/IsLoving
  • Added new API functions to get the estimated runtime of a given animation with the users configured timers- sslBaseAnimation.GetRunTime()/GetRunTimeLeadIn()/GetRunTimeAggressive()
  • Added new API function to get the estimated runtime of the currently active and playing animation, sslThreadController.GetAnimationRunTime()
  • Dead actors will now periodically be checked for in SexLab's skill and validation storageutil data for removal to save space and keep it fast
  • The player is no longer held in place for animation by making them AI controlled (aka no sudden small character spin at the start of animation)
  • Many various optimizations and bugfixes I didn't care to keep track of

This is a pretty sizeable update for a b version release, blame the fact that we use a base 10 number system and I've run out of numbers to update to in the 1.50 series without dipping into 1.60 territory. Due to it's size though the update from 1.59 or older to 1.59b will more or less perform a near complete re-install of SexLab, so don't be surprised if it takes a couple minutes in game to finish updating. Also don't forget to re-run FNIS for Users since this update has new animations.

I've also updated a couple things in the OP, namely adding the Skyrim Unofficial Patches to the requirements. Admittedly there is no real SexLab need for them and there is no check in SexLab forcing you to install them. However I've seen a few people report success in fixing problems they've had by installing them, and also because seriously, come on, get with it. There is little to no reason to not be installing them to begin with.

And before people start freaking out asking how to play the new 4way animation. I don't think there's currently any sexlab mods that support 4 npc positions yet, so I'll be releasing an update to MatchMaker later that lets you select more people.

Hey, I just updated (uninstalled 1.59 patch, installed 1.59b patch using NMM), and when I run FNIS I get an error (see below).  I saw that this is an animation that you updated, did I update wrong or something?

Thanks

That's strange. Did you run FNIS after uninstalling Sl 1.59? If you didn't you should. Did you first uninstall SL in the MCM menu? If you didn't you should? Then you should save you game and exit and do according to the instructions from the main page. You see, I'm telling you all of this since you didn't described you uninstallation/installation procedure, which i very important.

I did also installed the full version of 1.59b via NMM and it worked perfect.

Sorry I wasn't clear.  What I posted is from FNIS when I ran it.  I didn't uninstall SL in MCM, because the "Basic Update Procedure" doesn't say to.  I just used NMM to uninstall 1.50_to_1.59, and installed 1.50_to_1.59b and ran LOOT and FNIS.  Should I have either uninstalled/reinstalled SL entirely, or not removed the 1.59 patch before installing the 1.59b patch?

I would suggest you following:

1.Open your last save.

2. Open MCM menu, SexLab

3. press clean (confirm when asked)

4. When got the message that SL is uninstalled from the game and that you should save a game under the new save, do it. Then wait for couple of seconds and exit the game.

5. If you are NMM user, start NMM and uninstall SL. and when finished, exit NMM

6. Run FNIS

7. Run NMM and install SL 1.59b. Not upgrade, but full mod.

8. Run FNIS and check if it will report any errors.

9. Run LOOT

This is basic that works in my case. There are others who has other way of doing it. I'm doing this way and all works great.

in the change log there is something about checking for removal of dead actors. isnt that going to cause a problem with necrophilia using mods? i havent asked a noob question lately so i thot this would be a good one!  :shy:

I think I am going to give this update a miss. The requirement for the unofficial patches is a deal breaker, I'm afraid. I have enough bother running the mods I like to use with Sexlab, i.e. the non-sexy ones, that burdening my install with mods that make so many other changes that I haven't seen the need for up to this point and have no guarantee will not wreck my install and my save files doesn't seem worthwhile.

I know the unofficial patches fix a lot of things in the game but I can mend the issues I care about mending with much smaller, more focused mods and fixes.

Posted

I did not notice the requirement for unofficial patches until TamH70 pointed it out. I downloaded sexlab 1.59b today and it works like a charm. The new Zyn licking animation is magnificent.

I do not (so far as I am aware) have any unofficial patches. I hope my not having them will not come back to haunt me. Why are they needed? I will download them if I need to. It is a no brainer to reject 1.59b for that reason. The new anims are great and the expressions also work more smoothly. This update is a must have.

Thank you, Ashal!

Now when I move the camera around my whole char moves too (like when your weapon is unsheated) and mess up the animation : / It also makes it impossible to use immersive FP. Perhaps this option could be optional?

On another note, why don't you add all the animations included in more nasty critters? (from panicforever, dayelyte...)

Thanks for your hard work anyway : )

After installing 1.59b Enable free camera doesn't work for me anymore, don't know if there are more people with this after upgrading but thought i'd let u know :3

Had the same effect but luckily also an idea about the reason. I switched to radiant prostitution some days ago and deactivating that mod made everything work again. Had also the effect that i had to register animations once i started skyrim or get ctd when starting any animation. Seems fixed too.

Is anybody else having trouble with the 6th, 7th, and 8th stages of the Arrok Cowgirl animation? I can't seem to get it to work. I've installed and reinstalled Sexlab and FNIS twice now with no luck. Everything else works great, including Zyn's new animations.

First off thank you to Ashal and the other people involved with SL for all their hard work and dedication!

like the poster above me has mentioned "Arrok Cowgirl" I can get it running ok but aligning it is damn near impossible (the old animation was way better IMO) also I would like to ask if anyone else has a looping affect in Zyn animations ?

The licking animation is good except at the first stage change the PC leans forward and just rubs the other girls face/mouth ??? what is that supposed to be ? The facial animations seem to be working just fine, also I checked the creature animations and I do not see anything new or changed... There is a continued problem with double sound during animations as in they will say the same thing twice really fast like an echo both PC and NPC do this.

ok just reread the update info and saw you said added creature animations to animation editor NOT added new creature animations... sorry my mistake !

Well.... If that way works, go for it. A couple of questions: Why disable Sexlab in game, when you're gonna uninstall it. (steps 4 & 5) Then why generate/convert behavior files that don't exist. (steps 5 & 6) Just wondering......?
