Skyrim SexLab - Sex Animation Framework v1.62 - UPDATED Jun 3rd 2016

I'm having a problem with the framework. Using 1.31 no animations will play, my character will get naked but no animations play for anyone. Reverting back to 1.24 fixes the problems and all animations play. 

 

I have installed all requirements for SL. I am using SL - Defeat 4.2.1 to test.

Like I said, simply uninstalling v 1.31 and installing 1.24 fixes all problems. I tested it starting a new game for both versions. Running FNIS when installing different versions as well.

If you are using Defeat 4.2.1 it should be the problem. Into its own thread there are several reports that Defeat rape system doesn't work with SL 1.31.

Should not be a Framework issue but a Defeat not yet upgraded to work with.

You'll run into this problem most frequently (and most hilariously) in the Hearthfire homes. Since each one can have up to 6 different beds, you could wind up across the house, up the stairs, and floating a few feet off the ground.

 

It all depends on where you are when you use the nearest bed option. If you're standing on the bed you want for instance, it'll use one on the floor above you. Stand next to the bed you want, with your reticule pointing at the pillows at the head of the bed, and it'll use that one. Otherwise, it's anyone's guess where you might wind up.

The issue wasn't that it grabbed a random bed.  I can totally get that, and wouldn't complain about that.

 

The issue was that it grabbed a bed that wasn't actually there.  Hence the suggestion for a Is3DLoaded() type check to prevent such things. Or maybe just !IsDisabled().  Or something similar.

 

Or maybe Ashal is already doing that and it still selects a nonexistent bed. :unsure:

 

It's nothing hugely major and not worth an update by itself, but if there is merit there, just added to whatever he has in the hopper for the next planned update.

 

what I find funny is I can be beside a bed and it will grab one far away. the post beds can be a problem getting off of.

Anyone know how to stop the girls face expressions from moving very fast? Like her mouth moves very quickly like she is in an auction lol.

 

Also the male doesn't get an erection most of the time?

 

I'm also getting the same problem with the erection. I've been messing around with some of the MCM menus to enable/disable SoS functions, but it doesn't seem to work through Romance or Comfort. I think it might have something to do with Consensual sex and foreplay animations, because it seemed to work fine before I enabled foreplay.

Many thanks for this great framework!  Unfortunately, I have had a problem with SL 1.30 and 1.31 within Mod Organizer that I did not have with prior SL releases. Usualy I can find the offending mod thanks to M.O.'s design. But I am stumped on this one.

 

I am using FNIS 4.1.1 and the latest creature and spell pack. And I run FNIS every time I change saves/characters. This has worked for a very long time. With my builds that do not use SL, all is well. As in, all animations work as intended within the game.

With 1.30 and 1.31, I will have to exit FNIS, and re-run it several times as it will stop on each of the SexLab Creatures. When I am finially finished (20 minutes later), SL and all the mods for it work as intended. BUT. I get t-posing / freezing of horses and misc. crtitters in the non-SL characters. A quick reinstall of all FNIS mods solves the problem, but I have to go through the run - exit- run cycle to play my SL characters all over again.

 

I am not 100% sure if the problem lies in SL, FNIS, or a combination of both. As stated, I have been running this configuration for a looooong time with no problems. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

 

Mine is doing the exact samething. I have having issues with creatures not doing animations and was just checking around. After reading your post I went and checked the FNIS log and mine was showing the same thing. So I reran it like 5 times and finally it loaded the creature animations.

Hi. I'm new here and I don't know a thing about anything.

 

Okay, so I when I hit the big ol' "Update FNIS behavior" button in the GenerateFNISforUsers the line "Reading SexLabCreatures" was ABOVE the "Create Creature Behaviors " line. Seeing as how the instructions specifically state "'After it finishes patching, you should see 2 lines, Create Creature Behaviors ...' and BELOW that 'Reading SexLabCreature ...'" I screwed up somewhere didn't I? Sure enough "Creature Pack is not installed" and my character is animated, but the "creatures" remain still or turn invisible when... er, activated.

 

Just in case if posting this would help...

SexLab v1.32 released, changelog is as follows:

  • Added: Option to disable orgasm camera shake + sounds
  • Added: Ability to export/import configuration + animation adjustments to an external file so it can be carried over between different characters or restored later
  • Added: Tons of new API functions for modders
  • Removed: TFC exiting during orgasm, now only does it when animation is actually ending
  • Fixed: player as werewolf not animating properly
  • Fixed: Animation sticking after animation ends
  • Fixed: Camera going into the ground awkwardly when ragdolling
  • Fixed: Greatly reduced actor release wait time that was added in 1.31 to help with mod compatibility
  • Fixed: SortActors() not properly sorting when more than 2 actors present
  • Fixed: Will now first check if the closest bed is valid before resorting to random selection
  • Fixed: Moving scene locations with the hotkey will now rescan for a nearby bed and prompt the player to use it
  • Fixed: Other shit I don't remember
  • Updated: packaged PapyrusUtil plugin to 1.5

People with v1.30+ just merge the update patch with your current install, overwriting any files, and load your save.  Everybody else do a clean install and using the full package.

Yes the bed thing is very good I had this problem since 1.24 but I always forget to say something and like the option to disable orgasm stuff, haven't testted yet hope the options are separate so I can only disable sound.

Edit: did you also fix the scale problem? When you start sex bbut there's a problem and it doesn't start, then try starting again.. even if it's now successful the actors will be disappeared because scale is wrong. Or this is also reported as invisibility problem in other threads.

I didn't do anything specifically to target it, as I'm yet to be convinced the scale problem is a SexLab problem and not just  a pre-1.30 mod incompatibility, as I'm to experience the scale bug myself, and nobody who claims to has offered up debug logs (despite every troubleshooting sticky in this section saying to post one when reporting issues).

 

I did however rework a couple sections of the animation handling to make them more tolerant of errors occurring, which if the bug is indeed SexLab related that's the most likely candidate. So it's not unlikely that 1.32 accidentally fixes the scaling bug.

any news on custom races? every version since 1.24 hasn't worked with anything other than vanilla races for me, but the vanilla races themselves work perfectly fine so i'm assuming its not an installation issue.

Alright, I was using a 1.31 version on a new save game so it should have nothing to do with 1.30

any news on custom races? every version since 1.24 hasn't worked with anything other than vanilla races for me, but the vanilla races themselves work perfectly fine so i'm assuming its not an installation issue.

 

There was a problem with the custom races? What kind of a problem?

I use Ningheim for my PC, and it works for her. Some of my companions use incomplete unplayable non-vanilla races, and they fu..work too.

I wouldn't consider that a bug, it's doing exactly as expected.

 

If you have all animations disabled except aggressive animations, and aggressive animations are restricted, than of course most sexlab mods won't find any animations to play, because there are none.

 

It's not a situation 99% of people will ever face, and I'd rather keep things as logically expected rather than override a modders design by picking forcing in animations they didn't try and select.

I'd suggest not using child/loli appearing races then.

 

Unless you're using some obscure mod that's falling into a specific scenario it shouldn't, something most likely missing ActorTypeNPC keyword, than the ONLY thing that changed about race handling in 1.30 is that I updated the loli/child race checks to include more mods.

im using the old monli race, from before it became the "little monli" mod on this site, its not a child/loli so how would i go about fixing that myself because its the only thing i can find that looks anywhere near the moonshadow elves of oblivion, which i always used

I take it all back, I just replicated the steps and was finally able to see the scaling bug for myself. Fairly certain I know the reason for it now. Going to release a stealth fix shortly.

Thx for the update.

 

I still have the problem that my char didn't leave combat mode in certain cases.

 

I use Enchantress to start a scene.

 

Setup:

 

*) Wield one hand weapon in right hand.

*) Wield calm spell to start action in left hand.

 

1) Case spell on valid target,

2) Message that target is valid will be shown and the scene starts.

2*) You will disrobe and the weapon is put away but you can see that your char didn't leave combat stance.

3) Scene is played and you can't controll the camera as your still in combat mode. (You can see that because the spell is still shown in your hand. The little glow in the hand.)

4) Scene ended. Your dressed again but weapon isn't rewielded.

5) You can't enter/leave combat mode any more. (R-Key didn't work)

6) You need to change the wield setup via quick slot by double clicking the sword e.g.

7) Now your fine again

 

Further details:

*) If you wield a spell in the right hand or the hand is empty all is working well and your not stucked at the end of the scene.

*) The game is a clean new installation and the save slot was upgraded from 1.30 to 1.32. In another save slot that started with 1.24 this wasn't a problem. (Broken since 1.24)

*) I asked the modder from Enchantress and he said he can't do anything it must be something in the core mod.

Nevermind, i got it to work myself through process of elimination on figuring out how you went about checking race.
