Guest Posted February 8, 2014 Posted February 8, 2014 I'm also showing 0.0.0.0 as FNIS creature version, but everything works fine. I actually think it's a problem with FNIS and not this mod; the NMM thinks that there's something wrong with the FNIS creature version too.

I get a message that Estrus Chaurus is checking the animations list, and it shows up in the Actor Events list as one of the monitored events; but, there are just no menus by which to configure it. I had this working in a previous game; but, I uninstalled it from that game before starting a new game. I didn't reinstall the mod right away, since I wasn't certain which game, at first, I'd want to play with the mod in it. But, now that I've tried to install it in the new game, it isn't working.

Try opening the console and typing setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1. It worked for me.
Saeros Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 this always works for me: First --> eneble Estrus for skyrim v0.97 (zzEstrus.esp) and verify that it works. 1. enable Actor Events (actorEvents.esm) and load game. 2. check in MCM menu AE is loaded correctly. 3. save and exit. 4. enable Estrus Chaurus (EstrusChaurus.esp) and load game (no EC MCM menu at this load). 5. save but don't exit. 6. reload the game you just saved (will appear on top of the screen "Estrus Chaurus verify animation and blablabla...") no EC MCM menu at this load. 7. save but don't exit. 8. reload your last save again, +1 MCM menu.. ta-dah! EC menu appear.. Open MCM menu and adjust values. 9. save and play.. cheers

The hatchlings attack people now? I remember before they didn't do anything, except run around and chrip, has that changed? Nope. It has always been like the following: For 22 hours a day they are cowards and will run and hide. 1 Hour a day they will seek food so they can grow. 1 Hour a day they will hunt for and attack NPCs to infect. How long does it take them to grow to adulthood? Can you post this information on the first page of this mod?.. Unless it's already there and my ADHD caused me to miss it..
vgadict Posted February 9, 2014 Posted February 9, 2014 I like this mod, but I have a few issues that I can't seem to resolve. The first issue relates to the residual breast growth. It seems to behave correctly until I move to a new map. For example, if I'm a cave somewhere and take the exit to the main Skyrim map, the breasts shrink back to their original size. The same thing seems to happen when moving from a building into a city. The second issue also relates to map transitions. (Note: I'm using the Selene Kate companion mod in case that matter) If my companion gets impregnated, leaving the current map instance removes the pregnancy. I have the companion registered, but that doesn't seem to fix it. The third issue I have is then when my companion starts laying eggs, she won't stop. I let her continue once for a long period of time (over 30 minutes) and she had layed several hundred eggs with no end in sight. My own character typically takes about 5 minutes or so to complete laying them. Largest batch I've produced so far is about 40. It seems like whatever event should eventually halt the companion egg production isn't working for me. The fourth issue I have is that by-stander NPCs don't seem to be affected. I've seen a few outbreaks of the baby chauruses (dozens at a time) where they starting hurling their poison volleys, but they didn't seem to trigger any of the impegnation animations. I also tried spawning some Chaurus Reapers in Whiterun with some female NPCs nearby, but they only triggered the animations and pregnancies for my character and companion. I didn't see any mention of these specific issues in the summary for the mod, so I'm not sure if they are expected behaviors or if the mod isn't working fully for me. Any info on these issues would be appreciated.

I even uninstalled everything and started over, then followed the instructions, again, and they still weren't working. But, when I restarted the game for the umpteenth time to see if I could figure out if there were anything I could be missing, the menu item finally loaded. It's probably close to what saeros suggested would fix it, except that it wasn't quite that simple, or predictable.

It is a problem with FNIS and I'm currently working with Fore to create a papyrus fix.

It depends on how the mod selects creatures to alter. If it changes base AI packages then probably not. The Chaurus Hatchlings use custom AI. If the mod scans the loaded area and alters the AI by filling aliases then yes.

Keep the chaurus at range.

I installed this and all its dependencies alongside Defeat and SD+ with their dependencies. This worked perfectly, though I didn't stick around for the hatchlings. I should have since I haven't played around with this since they got their new AI. The MCM didn't pop up at first, and re-registering the MCM didn't work. Waited a few and it eventually registered. Also I used the newest FNIS and Estrus, only issues were the optional sounds from someplace else, they didn't mesh well. Used that new XPMS from here on LL along with Belisario preg body and HDT physics. All ran without a hitch! I am wondering how much work it would be for me to incorporate 7base bombshell body into all this, probably more trouble than its worth Keep up the good work! Have you given anymore thought on SD2? On hold, cancelled?

On hold, cancelled? there is a HDT body for 7base bombshell (BETA) here: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/25750-hdt-body/ and it has pregnancy scaling. That's what I'm using and it works well.
