I have done about everything i can think of; making sure i have the required mods, as well as waiting for 30 minutes. please help! Having the same issue, it is registered with actor events though, which is really strange. I had the same issue after doing a clean save without this & actor events, also happened on a new character. All the other mods appeared right away, but saving & reloading fixed it for me at least. I've tried that, nothing happened

They spit at me, with the long range ball one it brings up the actor event active effect but does nothing other than poison me. As for the close range spitting one, it poisons me but I'm not sure if the actor event thing appears.

And how dare they to attack their Mother, their Queen... Did you click uninstall while laying eggs to stop the animation? I'm looking through the script and that's the only way within the script to free the actor from being locked in position while the egg laying sequence is happening. Yes, I did it, but still laying Eggs and chauruses all over my home now heh Well, look at the bright side, each of those eggs are worth 10 septims. Use "player.removeSpell XX019121" replacing XX with the load order index of EC. And "help zzEstrusChaurusBreederAbility" in console will give you the full refid.

Estrus mod works fine on all three animations, but I don't seem to be able to get the chaurus to comply. To try the mod I summoned one with a command, and then it attacked me. Even though I got spat many times (and died trying to test this) I didn't get the estrus animation to happen. It happened only once, but then the game crashed inmediaely after starting. Next time I tried my character got somewhat stuck in the camera effect that happens when the animation begins, this time no CTD but I had to reload the save. Is it supposed to be instant? Like, chaurus spits on me, and then the animation begins, or does it take some time (presumabily enough to kill the chaurus before it kills you)? Is it supposed to happen 100% of the times, or do you require to be spat a couple times for it to happen? I have several lab mods, including Defeat, but the fact that it triggered once or twice makes me believe that it doesn't depend on the installed mods.

I don't know about the technical stuff, but I can tell you that; yes, the animations are supposed to trigger EVERY time, almost immediately after being bitten or spat upon by a Chaurus. Also any other Chaurus you encounter (including the one that attacked you) will be neautral towards you, and will not attack until the pregnancy cycle is over and the eggs are expelled from the body.. At least thats how they behave in my game. It used to be that Chaurus in a new area would attack even if you had already been impregnated but that doesn't seem to be happening anymore
Darkitow Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 Then is not working for me. Chaurus keeps attacking me till I die, and the only instance of it working, I CTD. I have many Lab mods installed, Defeat, Romance, RP, Aroused, Lover's Victim, Spectator crowds, etc, but I suppose they shouldn't clash with each other. this is a bit frustrating because I'm getting a couple SL mods not working properly.
jbsax3 Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 In terms of MCM not showing up, my experience has been that it takes a very long time. I'm well into my game at over level 40 which may be affecting it, but it takes 30-60 minutes real time for EC to show in the MCM after reinstalling from a clean save. It does work fine after that though. I'll say again, this is a great mod and I appreciate all of the work!

Estrus mod works fine, Chaurus also rapes my character using SexLab Defeat (whenever it doesn't kill her, since the bug hits like a truck), but no matter what I try I can't get this mod to work. I've been spawning chaurus and letting it hit me while guarding/healing or just running back, and unless the mod has a very low success rate, I wasn't able to get it working. The mod shows in MCM, but nothing I do seems to do the trick. =(

In this case it clearly explains that if you can't see the Estrus Chaurus in your MCM list, try entering this command in console,"setstage SKI_ConfigManagerInstance 1".

If so, try setting the upper health range higher in actor events. I tried it again with health upper set to 90% and lower set to 10% still does the same, long range spit attack gives me the Actor Event active effect but nothing happens until they get my health low enough for the defeat mod to kick in then they just rape my Khajiit :/ I was spawning the chaurus with the console in case that is affecting it?

I'm pretty sure I did at the time, as my method of testing consisted of checking the settings were in order, turning on immortal mode, and running straight at a chaurus or three. it did work later, although I couldn't tell you why. The only thing I did that I can think of is that I reset SexLab because no animations were working, and reloading a save. If it happens again, I'll check if I have the poison effect or not. What you may want to try is setting actor events to the 40% - 90% range for EC and avoid conflicting with mods like Defeat. Okay, new character, as last one started breaking due to weird papyrus spam that causes crashes I can't find anything about. Same deal happened, character just stands there getting hit no matter the settings, with something like at least 10 poison effects on, until I reset SexLab, which fixed it every time without fail. In looking at the logs, it was different, as EC was registering correctly with Actor Events this time around, it just wasn't finding any animations, which doesn't make sense, as I am 100% certain I had creatures enabled. But yeah, it was definitely the SexLab reset that did it. Who knows, maybe this'll help other people.

I don't know why it's happening, but I do know how to get it to work to a certain degree, and probably won't be able to 100% fix it by myself anyways, as I don't know nearly as much as jbezorg does about modding. At any rate, even if I do have to reset SexLab every time I want it to start, I'm okay with that, as I'm used to having to do things like that with Skyrim mods. And for what is one of my favorite mods, even more so.
sonicclub Posted December 8, 2013 Posted December 8, 2013 I have all the requirements and everything is working perfectly until I activate estrus charus then when the game loads I CTD the Estrus mod alone works perfectly fine.

Only three options listed in the MCM and the chaurus spit does not trigger the animations. The Estrus mod works just fine, alas this one is still broken for me.

Are you installing Estrus Chaurus 1.8.3 Fluids Plugin? It's not for Estrus Chaurus 3.35.1
gooser Posted December 9, 2013 Posted December 9, 2013 Hi, I've gotten the estrus to work beautifully - thanks! The animations work great. I see them on the PC and companions work fine. However, sometimes the PC is "invulnerable" afterwards permanently. Is there a console command to hack/turn that off? During the parasite breeder phase, I do see in my regular Skyrim Magical effects the "estrus invulnerability..." effect which presumably gives this to me (59 minutes long). But even after it is gone, I cannot be hurt by anything! Please help! Thanks
jbezorg Posted December 9, 2013 Author Posted December 9, 2013 Looks for the spell "zzChaurusParasite" and dispel it. Just FYI. If you toggle the fly camera on in console to watch the action and don't disable it before the animation ends. Sometimes not all mod events are sent. This could leave you with lingering effects and / or animations still running.
