Thanks for the update everything worked for me in whiterun although there were a few timing issues but that might have been my PC, for example on the final beating with the jailer my char was released from the chains before the jailer had finished whipping her also the guards are now applying the gag before sex scenes in the cell which is new.

Here (finally!) is the next update of the XPO patch for anyone using PO with Devious devices - posted here by kind persmission of Xaz,

 

This Version supports XPO V030 Only

The patch adds (somewhat) immersive handling of Devious items for the PLAYER only at present - the changes are pretty simple (as are my coding skills!). I plan to look at the possibility of limited companion support in the next few weeks.

 

Chastity belts, chastity harnesses, Bras, Plugs, armbinders and gags are removed by the jailer at the beginning of the sentence  allowing easy access to the prisoner for guards etc..

 

On release all the items are locked back on. Also (obviously due to an "Administrative error in the Evidence chest Department") any valid player chastity keys are lost!

 

If the prisoner escapes the items are "stored" and when the player is next imprisoned they are "returned" to the player on release.  It is beyond my skill to make this specific to a particular hold - so this happens wherever they are next locked up by PO (guess they are sent via UPS - "Universal Parcels Skyrim" xsmile.png.pagespeed.ic.5Yux4gu5_h.png ).

 

There are a few simple notification messages to help explain what happens as the action takes place.

 

Basically I did this to learn some papyrus scripting and for a bit more immersion - I'm sure it could be done at lot better, but this seems to work.

 

To use just install over XPO v030 - NMM or Mod Organizer recommended!

 

For the avoidance of doubt, I am a rank amateur at modding and this unofficial patch is provided "as is " to use at youir own risk!

 

Xaz is currently considering adding his own dD support to PO - if he does then this series of patches will end.

 

This version takes advantage of the new generic device functions in dD and *should* work for any correctly defined dD device. Unfortunately this means that there are too many combinations for me to test - so if you come across something that is not working let me know and I will take a look.

I had a repeated bug/issue in the latest XPO.  When released from prison my follower's gear was not returned.  Her equipped weapon was returned and that was about it, inventory gone, armor gone.  I didn't think, until now, to go and see if any of  it is in the evidence locker/chest.  Next time I load up I will take a peek.

I'll have a look at this. I think you may be right, and that I forgot to return follower items. If you have this problem, you can dismiss the follower before going to jail. Ofc, you're missing out on a lot of fun, but the follower keeps her stuff, I think.

 

Items should be safe in a special container. You can go there from the console (coc xpoProps) and check for a chest in that cell. There should be one with all the followers items.

I have some issues with the pillory scene:

 

- sometimes a dead body is picked up as the tormentor, pillory scene then fail when sexlab tries to enable it for the sex animation, resulting with the character not being bound to the pillory but nothing happens, it is just standing there doing nothing.

 

- sometimes the same npc is picked twice in a row to torment the character

 

- at the end of the day, when the jailer pick you up to lead you back to the prison, sometimes the character is still bound to the pillory and start sliding behind the jailer (and usually the game freeze when trying to load the prison area)

I don't think I check for dead bodies, so I'll add that check to the selection.

 

Selecting the same NPC twice in a row is a possibility, especially if they're standing close to you. I'll see what I can do about that.

 

Animation should not be playing. Not sure why you're still seeing that. I'll add a bug report about that, and see if I can reproduce.

 

Avoid "disabled" and other "not really there" actors as well by checking the "Actor.Is3DLoaded()" and "Actor.IsEnabled()" functions.

Well, my characters are scroungers right now so being set free without armor and inventory plays into the overall story that seems to be developing around them.  However, if I ever have characters that have something more exotic in items/armor then maybe I will chase down the stuff.

Like some other posters, my character still remains in the pillory position (can still glide around) after the day ends.

Ok, good work with including a follower; it does successfully include my follower, so far, in 100% of attempts.

 

I have a couple of issues. First, it seems likely that I'm getting the CtD since updating XPO to v30 due to the mod trying to account for a follower passing through doors, especially into Dragonsreach Dungeon. Second, I'm having serious lag spikes and freezes, but that may be another mod altogether, and come to think of it, it may be helping the first issue occur. The other mod is Slaverun, full version, latest version.

 

When I get these lag spikes and freezes, even on loading screens, I can ctrl+alt+delete, open task manager, and it says Skyrim isn't responding. I also seems that letting it try to load for several minutes offers a chance to complete the loading sequence.

 

XPO is also not forcing my follower into the pillory.

Mine doesn't play animations. Animation triggered ("Playing animation xxx" in console) but no animation is played and my pc and npc both stuck. Reset doesn't help...... Every thing else works fine except playing animation stuck. ZAZ 5.53, SL1.57 & PO .30. Thank you for helping! :shy:

Most common problem with Mods that include animations. You failed to run the FNIS User Generator program to a clean finish after you installed this mod.

 

Its so easy to forget that even mod authors who've done it hundreds of times occasionally forget as well.

Most common problem with Mods that include animations. You failed to run the FNIS User Generator program to a clean finish after you installed this mod.

 

Its so easy to forget that even mod authors who've done it hundreds of times occasionally forget as well.

 

 

And if that doesn't help, test it on a new game. If it works on a new game but not on your old save, then it's most likely an error made during the updating procedure on one or more of the above mods.

Voice of experience, had to figure out once why sex was being attempted with a NPC that wasn't even showing.

Xaz, how did you turn off the Vanilla "Do you want to serve your time" thing? I added a couple of beds to Cihgna Mine, but I can't use them without it asking that question.

I didn't do anything in particular, I think. If you're arrested by the system, then I think that the sleep event triggers.

 

Maybe you can find something to work with in the Game object. That's where most of the prison related stuff is ....

Hey, dude

I think I found a possible bug

When a guard was done raping my PC I immediately regained control of my PC before the prison door closed

So I was freely able to walk out of the cell door

Once I walked out it said I escaped, but noone attacked me or tried to cuff me

I don't think that was supposed to happen

 

If this isn't a bug then I advice you to fix it by initiating a brawl between the PC, the jailer and the guards, only once the PC breaks out of his cell of course

And if you get K.O'd by one of the guards or jailers you either get teleported back into your cell or the guards cuff you

Just to make it more kinky, once you're back in your cell everyone will have their way with you one after once

Maybe also extend the PC's celltime?

Logs might as well be written in ancient sand-script as far as my understanding of them is concerned.  I keep getting CTDs with xpo crime scanner in the last lines.  Is the crime scanner causing the CTDs or something else?  This doesn't happen to often, but enough to be irritating, and normally during a new area load.

Logs might as well be written in ancient sand-script as far as my understanding of them is concerned.  I keep getting CTDs with xpo crime scanner in the last lines.  Is the crime scanner causing the CTDs or something else?  This doesn't happen to often, but enough to be irritating, and normally during a new area load.

That is not a CTD ending with xpoCrimeScanner. A CTD would be a Crash To the Desktop and it would therefore not be ending with a "Save Game" sequence.

 

Please describe the actual problem because it looks like you're saving after a situation and if you're saving it indicates you may be reloading from that save to continue.

Please describe the actual problem because it looks like you're saving after a situation and if you're saving it indicates you may be reloading from that save to continue.

 

the "save game" apparently happened at the time of the crash without showing an "auto save".  I did not save, but as I said, it happened as I entered a new area, mine entrance.  Actually just as I clicked to enter but before it showed I entered.  

 

I also get CTDs traveling into another load area occasionally and the last line in the log is as above...xpoCrimeScanner.  Of course there is no auto save since it's traveling instead of entering a door.  

 

No, I did not reload an "auto save crash".  That much I so simple even I can understand.  Haven't even played since the crash.

 

I'm not saying xpocrimescanner is the cause, just wondering if it could be.  My log would fill half of the Alexandria library, so it could be something else.  Only posted the last lines because I thought that would be where the problem is.

 

I guess I need to hire a professional the read the damn log to find the reason for crashes.

Somewhere it decided to perform an auto-save (which it will do in certain cases regardless of whether you told it not to). That save though is more than a minute after the xpoCrimeScanner line so the connection to this mod really does weaken. It seems more likely that whatever triggered that auto-save is closer to the actual cause. If you start the game, what does it say about that save? (What title did it give it?).
