At me do not work animation sex and punishment in prison and the pillory. Actors just stand opposite each other and nothing happens.
All of the required plug-ins and programs have been installed.

Brand new game. Fresh install. Latest everything.

 

Arrested in Falkreath and guard leads me out of town. I fast forward through MCM switch and am instead of the Falkreath jail, i am in a small room in Windhelm(??) 

I get exactly the same problem in Whiterun. From what i gather this has been a problem for some time now, and i have yet to see anyone actually explain or solve the issue. It's getting to be very troubling.

 

 

Same here, guys. For a moment I thought this problem was gone with v030, but it came back, even in new games.

 

Edit: I've moved XPO all around the load order with no effect.

 

Edit 2: Seems like Immersive Beds is one of the mods that cause this.

 

Yes, that appears to be the problem, why, exactly, I can't quite puzzle out, but at least it works now. Regrettable that it's at the cost of one of my favorite immersion mods, but such is Skyrim. Thanks, by the by, would have taken forever to figure that out on my own.

I am just wondering if anyone is having a similar hiccup. When I get arrested, 50% of the time the dialogue doesn't naturally end, but the guard still goes on about their business. The other 50% of the time the dialogue closes, my companion (if present) says her line, and I'm equipped with the items, but then the guard continues on as if nothing happened. I'm not marched to the jailer, and fast forward does nothing.

Of that list, i am only using ELFX which makes lots of exterior changes, so maybe this is a navmesh issue? The Guard can't  find a clear path to the jailer so heads home to mama in Windhelm instead?

Did you run FNIS?

 

Also, make sure register zaz animations in the MCM.

Gave 3.0 it's first test a couple of items to report.

 

1. If I read the changelog correctly you should be able to set the "fast march" as an permanent option.  Unfortunately for my test I still had to go into the MCM menu to fast forward the march to the pillory and back between every event.

You should be able to set this from the console with "set xpoFastForward to 2". Did it not work for you?

 

2. Using AFT and it worked with a custom follower.  Had problems the first time with follower disappearing but cleared that up after reinstallation and removing the V29 patch for DD.  Not sure if that was a coincidence or not.

 

3. Both the PC and follower were put into cuffs and collar yet walked normally, without hands bound behind back.  Looks real casual and I'm sure it's not intended.

 

4. After punishment in Whiterun before the return to the jail cell, PC is still in stock/pillory.  You can move your PC but she is locked in the pillory and it all just glides along.  A simple jump will set things right.

 

The rest of my post is just opinion so take it for what it is worth.  I really like that you integrated the follower but there are a few parts I'm not too fond of.  Didn't care for the hooding and unhooding of follower between events in the jail.  It's just strange to see the hood POP on and then disappear.  Also, I would request using a blindfold instead of the hood.  While the hood is menacing part of the fun of having a follower with you is seeing them along for the ride and with the hood on the follower it just looks like a random NPC.  Related to that could you have the punishments alter between follower and PC in the cell, or simultaneous punishment?  If not that, could you maybe have the follower cower on the floor in fear.  The dialogue was pretty good, especially at the pillory.  The dialogue in the cell made me laugh though it takes a bit of the edge off a dangerous situation.

 

That's about it.  Going to see if any of the updates effect SD+ or Captured Dreams in a strange way.

 

Overall it's a nice update.  Thanks.

The automatic equipping of hood is a mistake on my part. It'll get fixed in coming releases.

 

I'm going to expand on the possibilities offered by the follower, like you suggest allow either one to be punished.

I think there is something wrong with the scripts on mine. I get arrested and nothing happens but if I save then load it starts but then stops again.

This could be because you didn't install Fuz Ro Doh or uncheck the dialogue option.

Works well so far. Using PO v0.30, SexLab 1.57, Xaz Animation pack 5.53, FNIS 5.1, Fuz Ro Doh 6.0.

 

I had an issue with the whipping animation, the guards or the jailor just stood there and did nothing, while the chained up animations worked flawlessly on my player char.

 

I solved the issue though.

 

The reason for this was the usual issue I experience a lot with custom combat animations - be it Immersive Animations or Pretty Combat Idles or Female Animation Pack - Skyrim (and/or FNIS) just does not work well alongside custom equip and unequip animations, while using custom weapon mods in addition, although I run the newest FNIS version (v5.1). I use the XPMS Extended in its utter default version, default weapon placements.

If they can't draw the whip, then there's a problem I think. Usually the scene will terminate after a fixed time anyway, but you'll miss out on whipping.

 

The one thing I find somewhat irritating is the adjustments for the frequency of animation scenes in jail and for the pillory. While setting them to one hour works fine for the pillory, I have the feeling that setting them to less than 3 hours for jail encounters makes no sense. I need to sleep at least two maybe even three hours to get some jail action. I tested that in Whiterun.

 

Maybe it has something to do with the path a guard has to walk to get to the jail cell for some action.

It should work to set shorter times, but the system will typically determine the next event right at the start of the previous one. That means, that if you're thrown in jail, then reduce the time to 1h, the first timing will still be at 3h.

 

I'll make a note to fix this.

 

A minor annoyance is that

 

1) the cell in Whiterun has a pretty dark corner and

2) sexacts seem to take place always in the darkest spot of that shadowed corner :-)

Yea, SexLab tends to move actors to some trigger point in my experience. I'll see if I can force them to the cell center instead. Would make a lot more sense ....

When the pillory scene starts and the PC has an armbinder equiped should the PC be punished in the pillory?  The armbinder remains equiped, the PC's head is visable through the pillory and the arms go to the holes but the hands are missing.  While waiting for punishment the PC is standing equiped with armbinder where the pillory would normally be.

This mod doesn't consider armbinders. When your gear is taken from you, that should include armbinders as well.

Hello xaz! Excellent update, great thing followers also get jailed. But there is one bug I noticed. When PC is in stocks my follower gets a bag on his head. And in my case that bag makes follower's body disappear. It's a little bit annoying. And there is also another thing, when my follower's clothes are taken then he/she immediately draws his'her bow on his'her back and it looks a bit strange; naked body shackled with bow on it's back. Could you fix this or tell me how can i make it on my own? Thanks

I'll check up on the bow. I think it should be solvable.

 

Regarding the bag on the head, it should only affect the head slot. Are you using the latest Zaz animation pack as well (5.53)?

Is this just in Falkreath? I'll check out Immersive Beds and see if I can figure out a workaround or similar....

You can switch to Another Sleep mod. Is only on Steam now (but there is a link for a separate download). Is much more stable than immersive bed.

Post your load order and papyrus log, please. You should also load up TES5Edit letting it load all the mods you're using, go to the xaxPrisonOverhaul.esp plugin and expand the Cell listing, Block 0, Sub-Block 9. This is Dragonreach Dungeon (Whiterun's jail). Expand both the Persistent and Temporary subgroups and see if there are any red conflicts, and also click on each listing there and see if any mod that's loading after PO is altering the changes from PO back to the vanilla status, or changing it further. If so, then that mod is the likely source of your problem.

 

By the way, anyone that upgraded to FNIS for Users 5.1, that may have been the cause of issues with the pillories and such. From the FNIS page:

 

IMPORTANT UPDATE if you already installed 5.1!!!!!
Fixed several bugs
*Custom furniture animations could stop playing
 
There is a fixed version up now. 5.1.1 so if you already updated to 5.1, you need to update to 5.1.1.

Intresing enough when my pc was jail in Falkreath.  During some of sex scenes the armbinder was removed and during a whiping scene my pc was chained to the floor while standing and the chain was attached to the armbinder.  When the pc first gets inside the jail every item is stripped and then chastity belt and armbinder is re-equiped. Falkreath prison worked much better then Whiterun prison <3.6.14 post.  I'm not sure then why the armbinder isn't being taken or why it works with some of the animations.  All in all the process from start to finish in Falkreath was realistic.  Thank you for the reply.

Just cosmetic issues. Some items from SD+ won't appear on your character.

I remember reading that the Guard Dialogue Overhaul mod caused issues with PO, is that still the case, or did I misread and it was never an issue?

I don't think so. I use it all the time, and Prison Overhaul seems to work for me.

Installed v030. HAving several problems. (I have ZAz animations. 5.53, sexlab 1.55, FNIS 5.02)

 

1. First time everything worked smoothly. THen the second time got arrsted the guard took me to jail. But there was no jailor! I was standing stuck in one place. Unable to move. Teleport/unstuck works, but then when I was escorted out of jail to pillory, the guard took me too middle of nowhere! Waited an hour, then suddenly I was bound in the pillory in the middle of nowhere! Then while bound too the pillory, I started floating upwards!

 

2. I am not making all this up!

 

3. Re-installing did not work.

I pretty much echo ssdd2014's post ( using ZAz animations. 5.53, sexlab 1.55, FNIS 5.02)

First arrest goes smoothly.  Second arrest, PC is disarmed, arms bound, and guard just stands there or returns to patrol. 

 

Also, on 1st arrest, when teleported to pillory (in Rifton), PC is teleported to point below street level and is pilloried after 1 hr wait.  

 

Both problems I've been able to reproduce...even starting from a clean/new character.  

 

Previous version worked perfectly.
