I recently had a lot of CTD's while fast traveling and occasional ones elsewhere while running Lola but it was fairly stable without Lola running, and the fix was disabling Vsync.

 

I thought I already did that but maybe something turned it back on, anyway in SkyrimPrefs.ini, under [Display], set iVSyncPresentInterval=0 and in Skyrim.ini, under [Display], set bLockFramerate=0.

Might be a dumb question, but started using the mod earlier. Is it normal for me to only get a breastfeeding animation between my female character and any female NPC's?

I've got ZAP 8+ installed and it should be working properly, so just wondering if that's the only lesbian animation with it installed or if I've done something wrong.

Thanks for the advice. I always have vsync on at 60 which keeps visual tearing. Always have been doing this. The only time I do notice other issues is when I load in large textures like 8k or a lot of 4k (from mods that I forget to read properly. O.o ) which load in very slow compared to 2k and 1k.....which are visually fine for most but peeps have to have their Ultra 4k/8k experience when it is not necessary. Hahaha. Peeps will be peeps.

 

Other that that my Skyrim SE is incredibly stable.....even more stable with this GoG version than the previous Steam version. *shrugs* Hahaha. Took a while to get it here so I notice when things I add cause issues right away.

 

Anyhoooo....I did some clean up from the last play and really want to play through another Lola experience. Longer play this time. I have my new story all picked out too. So I will give it a try again. If this can be stable I will certainly keep this in the load. I really do like it.

No.  The only situation in which this mod would force the breastfeeding animation is a rare one, where your owner is a vampire, and you don't have any other sex animations with the feeding tag.  Even then it would only have an effect when the owner gets hungry and wants to feed.  It wouldn't affect other NPCs.

ZAP doesn't provide sex animations (it has ones for bondage and dancing).  SexLab has a few built-in lesbian animations.  If those are enabled in your game, they should be getting used.

Some feedback. I spent a couple of hours laying on Lola and Simple Slavery++ on my very stable build (this is the one that will never change at this point).

- ZAP8+ had no issues with stability over 45min of play. I could tell it was fine.

- SS++ worked as well and I was purchased as part of RP (RMCW Edition....latest).

- I played around doing things, a few Missives.

- No crashes.

 

So I can firmly say that ZAP8+ is not the issue and SS++ seems fine.

 

Then I added DD and Lola.

- I did the Bodyslide and all the 'stuff'

- Instant crash. Then tried again (Skyrim SE sometimes does this even on my super stable load). Loaded in.

- Skyrim Unbound......started in my usual Hammerfell Falkreath Border.

- Set up my follower and outfits (simple outfit manager). I decided to wear a lovely brown harness and a ball gag (my follower is my owner Role Play). =P  O.o

- Crashed twice. Then crashed again right at the Falkreath gates when the guard required a Body Search and then teleports us to the barracks.

- Never was able to get through the Body Search. tried a couple of times.

- So that is 4 crashes....minus 1 for 'Who Knows'.....so 3 crashes in less than an hour for no reason.

 

So at this point I truly wish there was a Lola Light (*Kisses and Hugs* =) ) that has the excellent Role Play but without the DD requirement. Basically, if it was the same reqs as SS++ I would happily have Lola permanently in my load.

 

Thanks again for the very nice mod here. I enjoyed it very much. Now back to bed. lol!

Just one daft question: Did you install the one download for DD 5,2 that comes with 4 esp's? It's a common mistake to mix up the current with older versions, because it had been 4 seperate mods that are now together in one (but with four esps for compatibility reasons)

Don't touch anything with chains, HDT physics still don't work for SE (AFAIK, I'm on LE)

Not sure how Skyrim Unbound starts, some alternate start mods don't properly start the game until you've left the mod's worldspace and entered Skyrim for real. I may be wrong, but don't put DDs on before you're in Skyrim proper. And avoid putting NPCs (your follower) in DDs unless you have little helping mods that reduce the stress on Papyrus (at least that's an issue in LE)

Devious Devices should not be causing crashes, especially when only worn by the player character.  It's very stable for me, and I'm on LE.  If you look back at the posts here, you'll see that crash problems are rare.  That's good news for you, because it's probably something specific to your setup that can be easily fixed.

 

Be sure that you are using Devious Devices 5.2, that you do not have any part of DD 4 installed, and that you have Crash Fixes installed.

 

To get a better understanding of what is wrong, generate a papyrus log and/or crash log.  Try to get a log right at a point where you reliably crash, such as at the gates.  Post the logs and a description of the problem on the Devious Devices support topic (I can't debug DD-specific problems), and people there can likely find a solution so you can keep using the mods you like.

Oh, they work "fine" if you got a half-way recent version of Faster-HDT SMP at least (aka they neither crash the game nor cause any lag, etc.). They still don't look right (the chains are all over the place), but then I've seen that to some extent on vids from LE too.

More below....but the DD I had I was definitely in Skyrim proper. Interesting to know about followers and how they are tracked too. Did not know that. Thought they were all event based instead of constant loops. I try to avoid that stuff unless....well...unavoidable. I then make a decision of risk and choose. I love Lola here but not with the stuff piled on top as requirements. I do like the DD stuff....some of it....so maybe?

 

As to HDT there is a very nice Fast SMP. I have a jiggle ass and just a little tit bounce and works great looks realistic to be honest.....CBBE 'normal' version. I also paired it with RAYSR female (and male but SoS for them) animations which I converted to SE and love the idle, walk, run, sprint. Still available on LE Nexus. SMP works great for capes/cloaks. Zero crashes from it.

 

Like you I had LE for the longest time. Once SE GoG version came out I finally decided to rebuild the LE version from the ground up.....pain in the ass but was well worth it. I had some regrets but none now. My SE looks even better and I can play well over 6hrs without a crash or maybe something happens rarely in Skyrim fashion. Super stable.

 

Now I am trying to make some final touches.....like Lola and SS++. DD has A LOT in it I have no use for.....but I do LOVE those harnesses. =P

 

Skyrim Unbound: This is an excellent Role Play start. You can play as the Dragonborn or not. Many configurations then you can save them as settings. The current/latest version teleports to a custom room....nice....that you can do all your MCM and bat files to set up things. The LE version works well but the new SE version is 'Chef's Kiss'.....or I suppose here on LL....lovely lips around the head and smiling. Hahaha. Fuck....getting horny. Hahaha. Welcome to ask me questions in PM so as to not pollute this forum. Hahaha

So I think I maybe made the DD install mistake then. There are a number of links to DD and I ended up clicking on:

- Devious Devices (Assets) 3.0e

- Devious Devices - Expansion V4.3a

- Devious Devices - Integration V4.3a

 

So looks like I have the v4 series. It was updated recently too and I have them adapted for SE via CAO. I guess this is my mistake. Dumb Engineer Girl. Hahahaha. DELETION. O.o 

In regards to Lola I am using ZAP8+ so it is later than ZAP7 so should be okay....I think.

I went to the Lola DD SE link and it did take me to DD v5.2 so I am downloading that now.

 

As to the Crash Log.....if the game rarely crashes why have a log running? ? I had crash fixes but it did nothing from my experience except odd crashes and strange things, so I removed it. Again, my SE GoG version almost never crashes and is very predictable. I guess peeps would LOVE to have my version/load. Hahaha

 

The crashing at heavy transitions is related to JK's Skyrim. It is heavy in places and the transition from Exterior to Whiterun City can crash from time to time and from Dragonsreach to Whiterun City. It is for sure Whiterun City that is very heavy with all the NPCs and JK deco.....looks great and I have it where it does not happen much. Good enough. Solitude City is another or the walk from Dragon Bridge then the LOD kick in for the carriage and Solitude. Very rare crashes now though.

 

Now to break it with the CORRECT DD version and Lola. Hahaha

 

Thanks again for the help in pointing me in the right direction. I still wish there was a Lola Light version but if I can get this working and stable......we'll see.

I'm using Skyrim Unbound Reborn.  It's very nice.  The alternate start mods are great for playing a non-Dragonborn character.

Ah, you installed both Devious Devices 4 and 5.  That's very bad.  It can crash your game.  Unfortunately, some older mods simply say that they need various DD 4 files, which is confusing.  DD 5 is all that you need.

Yes, that is that you need.  I recommend starting a new game.  Your game should be nice and stable.

Lola keeps being incompatible with Defeat, basic Gouboo version. When pc goes in bleedout nothing happens, no rape.  Without Lola Defeat works perfect.

It doesnt help when you write that this cant be etc it is fact. 

without defeat no creature sex and no agreesive human sex, so that has priority over lola.

Sorry, wasn't able to reply sooner. I fixed it by disabling the breastfeeding animation, but still don't know yet why it was only going for that one animation each time.

Sorry for the confusion with ZAP as well, still relatively new to this side of modding.

Hi @HexBolt8 . So I played for almost 3hrs last night after getting my dumb ass corrected. I had fun and NO CRASHES. Thanks for pointing me in the right direction. Since this was an attempt to make some final touches on a permanent load order I added a couple of other mods to test them out too now that I have the reqs for them too.

 

At the end of it I decided to simply stick with what I had without the BDSM stuff. I like light tie down and even a ball gag to please my guy but A LOT of the disgusting stuff in DD and ZAP is where I draw the line. I love my real harnesses, they feel nice and real leather. My previous guy loved putting a ball gag on me for a variety of things and even sleep with.....I did it to please him and makes me feel nice (the ring gag sucks though. Hahaha. That went into the trash. Hahaha). I guess Lola was that tie-in to the game world too. Sort of is. I like it for some of the Role Play but not for the more focus on punishment sort of scenarios (same stuff in Devious Followers too). Not entirely sure why peeps want to be punished. *shrugs*

 

I guess I really do wish there was a Lola Light version with the dice rolls of +/- to numbers that reflect some text and reactions.

 

In any case, thanks again for steering my dumb ass correctly so I could play this correctly without crashes. I will keep an eye on this from time to time to see if there is a Lola Light version at some point.

A lot of players seem to want even more punishment.  The mod tries to find a middle ground.  Except for the zaps (which can adjusted to be very light), punishments can be avoided fairly easy, but personal tastes vary, and I respect your choice.  You might consider Devious Devices Helpers.  It's no longer being developed, but it should still work okay.  It allows a follower to tie you up occasionally, and help you out of restraints if you need it, possibly the light bondage experience you're looking for.

Yes, I follow the progress of Devious Devices development.  I prefer not to use content in a beta state.  When DD 5.3 is published, I will see what new content might work well with this mod.

You've been the only one to report this problem, either here or on the Defeat support topic.  So, it's noted, but when a very small number of people experience trouble, it's usually a problem with the player's game setup, such as the recently solved DD crashing problem due to having two versions of DD installed.

That is strange.  I don't see anything unusual about that animation's tags.  If you had the other built-in animations enabled, the Zyn lesbian animations have similar tags, and the various 69 and cunnilingus animations would work too.  Anyway, I'm glad that you found a solution.

hi @HexBolt8 i noticed that a collar i've been keeping my eye on to include in a mod has updated its permissions to be completely open. do you think you could include it in the next lola update? it looks very cool imo

Maybe, but I'll have to think about it.  Often, other collars can be added by a player by just copying the mesh and texture files and using this mod's custom collar option, but that won't work with the runic collar because it uses a script for the glow effect.  However, it might make sense to decouple the glow from the collar and make the glow an MCM option here to use with all collars -- when you're enslaved by this mod, any worn collar would glow.  Some collars would probably clip the glow effect, but others likely would not.  The base runic collar could then be used as a custom collar, with or without the glow (it's a nice-looking collar on its own if a player finds the glow too much to look at).

I'm trying to configure conditions in OAR because I believe some MCO animations have broken the whipping scenes and I'm wondering if there's an easy way to trigger the whipping scene for testing purposes?

Be aware that ZAP 9 currently breaks whipping (use ZAP 8).  Yes, you can easily test it.  In the console, enter "set vkjTest to 1", then talk to your owner while enslaved and ask "Master?" then "[TEST] I want to test something" (at the bottom of the options).  It's a real whipping (with the punishment debuff), so save beforehand.
